Though never having entered an international conflict or war since the
1873 Populist Revolution, the entire military has the nation's resources
at its disposal, and has one of the world's toughest training regimens, with
soldiers even dying in training on a daily basis. Though not very well
equipped, from the extreme exhaust and fatigue of training, the military is
able to produce one of the toughest fighting forces.
Commissioned by President Belacha in 1957, the Ölüm Mangasi were implemented as a federal police force. They would use old Mongol Tributary techniques to capture felons. From the start, their operations were highly secretive and they ravaged the lands. With out warning, they were known to burn down entire villages over the refusal to move to make way for a public works project. In the night, they would take men from their homes and carry out swift trials and executions, leaving their corpses to be found by the villagers in the morning. In 1979, a separate corps of the Ölüm was commissioned to work abroad as an Arazi Secret Intelligence. The entire organization was believed to have been disbanded in the 1996, following President Belachas death and the collapsing of his reign. However, it is said that the Ölüm still roams the lands. In either case, they left horror in their wake and instilled a sense of fear in the Arazi people which would remain for years to come.
After nearly fifty successful missions from 1973-1975, the 17th regiment of the Coar Regular Army was set apart and established as its own independent military establishment. An extension of the strength and will of the Arazi people and the Populist System, these men -- the first of many to come into the organization -- serve us well. It's members are distinguished and elite ethnic Arazi troops, and fight in the name of the Workers' Glory. The force has grown to be one of the most prestigious Special Operations forces in West Asia, and is ranked among the top in the world. They are the Revolutionary Guard, and they serve us well.
