Sophia, EoGB and VoP recommend a vote AGAINST Liberate Monarchist Bloc

WORLD ASSEMBLY VOTING RECOMMENDATION

Security Council: Liberate Monarchist Bloc (region), by Estovlaka

Recommendation: AGAINST

Rationale: This Liberation is unneeded. A Liberation cannot remove the password from a region with an active governor, making this proposal useless and meaning that its passage will not allow the target region's natives - who now live in The Monarchist Bloc - to return to their old region.

It is also unwanted. The leaders of (The) Monarchist Bloc have repeatedly condoned and even espoused homophobic rhetoric of the kinds that no democratic region - including ours - should tolerate. While the new region is not a frontier, we cannot support their operations either way and do not wish to see their views perpetuated in such a public manner.

This recommendation was written by Tinhampton, the President of Sophia; and Oogway, the Senior Master of the Jade Palace of the Valley of Peace. The Empire of Great Britain concurs.

This resolution will be at vote between the minor updates of July 7th 2023 and July 11th 2023.

This recommendation was jointly issued between Sophia, Empire of Great Britain, and Valley of Peace. This does not mean that the President's opinion of this resolution was influenced by what Sophia's partner regions believe. Under the Constitution, the President must always cast their vote in line with the interests of Sophia, not some other region; this recommendation reflects the sincere beliefs of all regions involved.
