The ASM-1100K is an improved version of the ASM-900K, designed to be mounted on the fighter's internal armament bay.

The ASM-1100K is a miniaturized version of the ASM-900K. The length and caliber were reduced to fit the fighter's internal armament bay, which reduced speed and range, but unlike the ASM-900K, it can be mounted in the stealth fighter's internal armament bay, allowing it to be secretly fired.

ASM-1100K missiles have the characteristics of flying irregularly to avoid enemy interceptors. It also adopts Sea-Skimming, which flies close to the surface, making it more difficult for the enemy to intercept the missile.

Also, because it flies at a high speed of Mach 8, even if the enemy detects the missile, the enemy cannot respond quickly.

In addition, the missile detects radio sources at sea only with passive radar and ESM, produces location information for several ships, and then selects a target on its own based on radio emission pattern information pre-registered in the built-in system.

Consequently, conventional electronic warfare is greatly limited in its use against ASM-1100K, and if it emits jamming waves to a missile, it is similar to sending out a signal that transmits the target's location.

The ASM/SSM-1100K is designed to enable ground attacks as well as anti-ship attacks. When a missile is used for ground attacks, it is guided to the radar of an aircraft or ship and moves to the target, in which case hypersonic flight and irregular flight pattern functions can be maintained.
