Audenshaw wrote:On this beautiful St. Patrick's Day, baseball fans from all over the Pacific region converged at the Maxifaerian stadium in Economa Capital City to witness the opening game of the 2023 Pacific Baseball Classic. Maxifaer, being the host of Pool B, was eager to put on a show for their fans and make a statement in their first game of the tournament. The game got off to an excellent start for Maxifaer, who displayed their dominance in the first few innings, leaving the Imperii Byzantini frantically trying to keep up. Despite this, Imperii Byzantini orchestrated an impressive turnaround in the later innings, much to the dismay of the Maxifaer fans, who were stunned, having seen their team's dominance slip away. The game came to a nail-biting conclusion, with Imperii Byzantini claiming victory. The Maxifaer team was left to ponder on what could have been while the visitors celebrated their hard-fought win.

Audenshaw wrote:Day 2 of the Pacific Baseball Classic Pool Play-off was nothing short of spectacular, with all hosting nations showcasing their talents and securing their first wins of the tournament! (with the exception of Maxifaer)

One of the most exciting games of the day was the matchup between the host nation, Izern, and Cozio. The game was a back-and-forth battle that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the very end. In the bottom of the extra 10th inning, with two outs and third base occupied, one of Izern's star players stepped up to the plate and delivered a walk-off grand slam, giving Izern a thrilling 12-11 victory over Cozio.

Overall, the second day of the Pacific Baseball Classic Pool Play-off was an unforgettable day of baseball, with stunning performances, thrilling finishes, and plenty of drama. Fans can't wait to see what the next few days of the tournament have in store.

Audenshaw wrote: Another day calls for yet another day of baseball. Day 3 of the Pacific Baseball Classic has come and gone, but it was just as exciting as the previous days, with unexpected upsets and impressive displays of athleticism from all teams.

The day kicked off with an epic showdown between The Argonaut and Middle Kinggom. The Argonaut managed to edge out their opponents with a close 18-15 victory, much to the delight of their passionate fans.

Maxifaer also impressed with a dominant display against Stefrajinsk, coming back strong from their opening-day defeat with a 13-4 blowout.

Nevertheless, day 3 of the Pacific Baseball Classic Pool Play-off was just as unforgettable as yesterday as the games concluded, with some unforeseen turns and surprises. All teams are now preparing for their next games, and fans cannot wait to see what's in store.

Qualifications
Teams will be divided into pools of four, each team plays against the other three teams in their pool in a round-robin format. Teams earn PCT for each win, tie, or loss in this round-robin phase.
Top two teams with the most points in each pool advance to the semi-finals. The semi-finals will have two matches, where the winner of pool A plays against the runner-up of pool B and the winner of pool B plays against the runner-up of pool A.
Winners of the semi-finals play against each other in the championship game to determine the overall winner.
If there is a tie between two or more teams in points, the following tie-breaker criteria could be used to determine the final standings:

1.) Head-to-head record between the tied teams
2.) Runs scored and allowed in the games played between the tied teams
3.) Run differential (the difference between runs scored and runs allowed) in all pool play games
4.) Total runs scored in all pool play games
5.) A Coin toss

How to play | FAQ
