First Secretary Maximilien Valois
Maximilien Valois
Maximilien Valois is a political theorist, philosopher and revolutionary presently serving as First Secretary of Spearhead, and therefore the de facto head of state and government of the Revolutionary Biocommunist Organism. Born in Nice, France in 2036, Valois emigrated to Australia in 2057 and became a founding member of the revolutionary communist organisation known as Spearhead, serving as one of its chief organisers and theorists. When the Australasian Revolution broke out in 2063, Valois proved to be instrumental in advancing the position of Spearhead, previously a fringe organisation, into being the dominant political and military force within the disparate coalition of left-wing revolutionaries.
Following the triumph of the revolution in Oceania, Valois played a key role in consolidating Spearhead's authority as the sole political organisation within the newly established Revolutionary Biocommunist Organism and assumed the position of Secretary for International Affairs within the new government. He used this position to push for a hard line on revolutionary internationalism, supporting revolutionaries in South East Asia, Africa and Latin America, with his efforts culminating in the Indonesian Revolution of 2068, resulting in many of the Indonesian islands, most notably Java, being absorbed into the RBO.
