SCHEDULE
Nominations will remain open during the period of 01 Mar 2023 14:00 (UTC) → 04 Mar 2023 14:00 (UTC). .Countdown.
First Round Voting will remain open during the period of 07 Mar 2023 14:00 (UTC) → 10 Mar 2023 14:00 (UTC). .Countdown.
Second Round Voting will remain open during the period of 11 Mar 2023 14:00 (UTC) → 14 Mar 2023 14:00 (UTC). .Countdown.
CANDIDACIES
Candidates must meet all the following requirements within the nominations period in order to be listed on the ballot.
Have a Residency value equal to or greater than 120. .Check Eligibility.
Declare their candidacy by accepting a nomination made by a nation not under their control or access.
Nominations must be made on the Regional Message Board (RMB) by a member of the South Pacific without tagging the Election Commissioner. .Example.
Declarations must be made on the RMB by quoting the nomination, accepting it in a clear and unambiguous manner, and tagging the Election Commissioner. .Example.
Publish a dispatch with a disclosure of all nations they control or access and all their current affiliations and positions within NationStates, and tag the Election Commissioner.
Pursuant to Article 3, Section 5 of the Local Council Elections Act, in the event that more than 11 candidates stand for election the 11 candidates with the highest Residency shall proceed to the first round, to the detriment of all other candidates.
VOTING
Voters may cast their ballot via a poll that will be made available by the Election Commissioner at the appropriate time. The poll will be automatically restricted to allow only votes from Native World Assembly Residents, so anyone who is not able to cast a vote is, by definition, ineligible to vote.
Members of the Special Forces who are on deployment at the time of voting may cast an absentee ballot by posting their vote on the Regional Message Board and tagging the Commissioner within that post. A list of members who will be on deployment should be made available to the Commissioner by the Minister of Defence.

Evinea obtained the highest number of votes in the first round after all votes were counted and consequently is elected to the Local Council.
TescoPepsi obtained the highest number of votes in the second round after all votes were counted and consequently is elected to the Local Council.
Petea obtained the second highest number of votes in the second round after all votes were counted and consequently is elected to the Local Council.
