REVOLUTION, CONFLICT & WAR THIS WEEK

Some Muslim "white" protesters in Al-iskandariyah express opposition to the government forcing
non-Muslims to obey sharia law.
Revolution in Al-Iskandariyah

Many Christians and some Muslims in Al-Iskandariyah have initiated a wave of protests in opposition to the government in Al-Iskandariyah imposing Islamic sharia law onto all the citizens of the country, including non-Muslims.

The peaceful protesters are known as "White" protesters, while the violent protesters are known as "Red" protesters - the Reds have raided and destroyed various government buildings (including the Royal Palace and Parliament), and they are more willing to resort to violence, much to the consternation of the Whites.

Recently, a senior figure within the Reds, Abraham Younan, declared himself the country's new president. The Emir of Al-Iskandariyah, meanwhile, has fled for his life.

Invasion of North Gilead

Information Nation has recently begun an invasion of North Gilead, the Christian fundamentalist autocracy in North America - the aim of the invasion, as stated by the government of Information Nation, is to "liberate the people of North Gilead from the[ir] oppressive regime."

The government of Florida and the bahamas has promised free entry for all Gileadeans who flee their country. The government of The continental union, meanwhile, has pledged to supply Information Nation with weaponry.

Armurasia vs Manchuria

The provincial parliament of Manchuria has voted overwhelmingly to seperate from Armurasia, which has resulted in both countries launching brutal bombing raids over each other.

Anti-war rallies have broken out in Armurasia and have surged in frequency after it was discovered that the president of Armurasia had attempted to suspend freedoms and give himself special wartime powers.

Pro-war rallies have broken out too, after the bombing of the Pudong International Airport in Shanghai by Manchurian seperatists, which killed 32.

Vantierian military replaces rifles

The military of Vantier has replaced their renowned FN FAL battle rifles with new Bazaar rifles.

As the FN FAL was a cultural symbol of Vantier, thousands of Vantierian civilians shot their FN FAL rifles in the air at the same time as a way of saying goodbye.

The Vantierian Broadcasting Corporation (VBC) estimates that 500,000 bullets were fired in less than 10 minutes.

News from Florida and the Bahamas

Florida and the bahamas has officially decommissioned all of its nuclear, biological and chemical weapons.

In other news, the Floridian government is looking into expanding infrastructure on the Bahaman island of Andros in such a way as to prevent damage to the island's green landscapes.

Finally, the government of the Bahamas has imposed a ban on all petrol-powered vehicles - all petrol vehicles will be taken off the roads within three years. It is expected that this ban will be imposed on Florida later on.

Annexation of Cascadia

The army of The continental union has marched into the region of Cascadia in North America and they have annexed it in an attempt to stabilise the region.

The locals seem to have offered little to no resistance to this.

Roman occupation of Germany criticised

Alexander de Croo, the Premier of Beligulum, has criticised Romanum et Britannia Minor for the delays which have taken place during Rome's rebuilding of Germany.
