What does our region offer and how is it special? Well, the South Pacific is the oldest democracy on NationStates that still exists today, running since 2003! You can help shape the legal framework of the region by voting on our leaders and drafting our laws, gain the training to defend other regions and communities all across NationStates from attack, or build up the lore of your nation in our roleplay community. Our Cabinet is in charge of things like regional events, orienting new players (like you!) with our region, and diplomacy with other regions. Our Delegate is the person in our region with the most endorsements and serves as our head of state.[/size][/font]

The South Pacific is a defender region, which means we protect innocent regions from the military forces that try to take them over simply because they enjoy it.
