Marchland History begins where Germany’s history ends…

1945:
The Germans have been pushed back on the eastern front all the way to the out skirts of berlin. Hitler has committed suicide and the last of Germanies generals are fighting amongst themselves. Just when it seemed hopeless one man brought them all together… Erwin Rommel.
Under his leadership he pulled the military together and fought the Russians with every ounce of strength Germany had left. By the time the Russians reached the outer walls of berlin they had lost 5 million men. Germany was still on the brink of collapse having suffered severe casualties and Supplies dwindling; the remaining generals were preparing to surrender. Just before the final meeting to decide on the acceptance had started Erwin Rommel got a Telegram stating that scientist had discovered a breakthrough. They had successfully developed an atom bomb. Erwin Rommel in a last-ditch attempt to halt the Russian advance ordered it to be loaded onto a v-2 rocket and launched at the heart of the Russian War machine. The result was catastrophic Moscow laid in ruin Stalin had perished and his generals Vied for power in attempts to Rule Russia. The Russian general in charge of the assault on Germany retreated. Determined to claim a piece of Russia.
Erwin Rommel Rallied the people together. In a emotional speech he stated “its times like this that try men’s hearts. We are WARRIORS! The world looks at us in awe because we brought down the Russian war Machine. Today makes the birth of a new nation…we are not Germans. We are not Nazis. Today we are Marchlandians*!!! (*People of the new dawn) ---
The people went ecstatic, Rommel and 5 other generals Formed an oligarchy and Reformed the army to fight and continue the conquest of the world… but fate had something else in mind.(1946) in the spring of 1946 Rommel prepared his army to attack Russian Poland and conquer the Germany rival once and for all. The French and British and American forces had been halted at the Rhine and with Japan still a threat the battle on the western front was a standstill.
Just before the day of the attack on Poland Rommel got disturbing news. Poland had revolted against the Russians who were still fighting had retreated into Russia. Poland rose and took over the Russian weapons that had been left behind. They also conquered the southern countries becoming more massive than Germany had hoped to tangle with. So, Erwin Rommel sent a peace treaty that Poland excepted. Poland’s president/ dictator declared the rise of a stronger Poland and decided it to rename itself Polanas.
With the eastern and western fronts at a standstill Rommel decided to advance south and take the Italy peninsula. This would help him Recover his remaining forces in Africa. But before a move could be made The Italians were liberated by polanas. The polish grand republic was born. Rommel launched several attacks into Italy none of them successful. Not wanting to risk war with polanas, marchland Retreated back across the alps. This was the final straw that broke the 1st marchland empire. With marchlands retreat came news of French American forces taking over Belgium and Netherlands. With that Austria, Hungary and the Balkan states all revolted against the Marchlandians pushing them back into Germany. Rommel left the revolting countries and focused on keeping the Allied power in the west at bay. It was at this time that the USA decided to greenlight the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Japan surrendered shortly after. At this point the Marchlandians and western allied powers where at a standstill. Germany had been forced back from all theaters of war but even then, they were holding their own against in germany. With no end insight and the threat of a nuclear war imminent between the allies and marchland, Erwin Rommel finally agreed to peace talks. The talks raged on for several weeks until and agreement was met.

-Marchland would:
Pay 10 billion in war reparations
1 billion in Jewish war crimes
Hand over Nazi war criminals.
Return Jewish property and restore rights.

While the allied powers agreed to:
Give the Africkan corps safe passage home
Recognizing the mistake of treaty of Versailles in WW1.
