Actress, model, entertainer, born as Anna-Michèle Ocaliot in Chartres, won the Castillian Film Society Award for Best Actress at the 100th Castillian Film Society Awards Ceremony on January 3, 2034 for her riveting performance as Marlène Pécresse in Au Revoir Oiseau. Her performance of the film's titular song against a blue backdrop sparked raving reviews of the comedy musical and sealed her fate as the next big actress of the Castillian cinema scene. Backès, Marlène

Senator for the Province of Finistère, serving as the senior senator for the province with Maël de Ushant. Left the Labour Party to form the Institutional Revolutionary Party after being marginalized by President John Faring and Labour Party leader Clément Carenco. Currently in her third term in the Federal Senate. Maintains corporatist leanings but also an advocate for political checks and balances, proponent of reforming the Constitution to establish a bicameral legislature. Blanquer, Jean

Senator for the Province of Ardèche, serving as the senior senator for the rural province with Jacques Etienne Amranes. Has served in the legislature of the Castillian nation for over sixty years, first in the Grand Imperial Parliament during the Imperial era, then in the National Congress during the National Socialist era. Caffery, Charlotte

Philanthropist, was Princess of Wuthering before the Second Closian Crisis. After the civil war and dismantling of the Closian nobility has assumed control of the former Royal estates, including Wuthering Palace. President of the Closian Historical Society, which maintains the Royal estates and of which makes significant income from tourism. Donates millions of dataries per year to charitable contributions. Caffery IV, George

Former Lord Regent of Castleclose, served as head-of-state for the Closian Commonwealth and head of its unique nobility system per the Annexation Agreement of 2014. Immensely popular among the Closian people, was seen as a unifying figure throughout much of Castillia after the National Socialist era ended and the Federal era began. Sought to see the revival of the Castillian monarchy and reform Castillia into a two-house constitutional monarchy. See The Great Game, Summit on Potthan.


Caffery V, George

Senator for the Province of Ulster serving as the senior senator with James Cheshire. Would have been the Lord Regent of the Closian Commonwealth as part of the constituent republics framework and the Annexation Agreement of 2014, but was nullified after the Second Closian Crisis in which his cousin Matthew Caswell usurped the throne and instigated a deadly civil war. Advocate for reinstituting the Closian nobility system but favors unification rather than Closian independence. See The Great Game.


Caswell, Matthew

Former disputed King of Castleclose, usurped power in 2026 after the death of his uncle, the Lord Regent Caffery, who had designated his son George as Lord Regent. Caswell staged a deadly coup, putting the Castillian Federation in a civil war that last for nine months. Executed in front of Wuthering Palace in the same year after Castillian troops drove out forces loyal to Caswell. It is because of him the Closian nobility was dismantled. See The Great Game

de Sèvres, Charles-Chalmont

Former Emperor of Castillia, reigned as Charles IV. One of the most unpopular emperors in the modern Imperial era due to a crippling economic downturn that put millions out of work. His flamboyant and extravagant lifestyle was heavily publicized while the majority of his subjects starved. Regularly purged his inner circle. Ailed from severe untreated syphilis, which caused his actions to become ever more erratic, apparent to many at the time he was increasingly becoming detached from reality. Assassinated by Connaissance-bureau agents in 1971 to prevent him from going to war with the Gothic Lords. See The Acrimony of Brothers.

Faring, John Sinclair

4th President of the Castillian Federation, sworn into office in 2030. Member of the prominent Stevidian-Castillian Faring dynasty. Presided over Barjaanistani "Rails-For-Oil" scandal, during which his administration was uncovered utilizing cheap slave labor to build railways in return for large control over Barjaanistan's oil reserves. Led Castillia into the invasion of Asadabad in 2031 in response to the Federation Day terror attacks. Assassinated on October 13, 2032. See All or Nothing At All.

Goulard, Claude

Former Connaissance-bureau (BdC) agent, was a member of Charles IV's inner circle. Was handpicked by the Emperor to undertake a covert mission to Anagonia during the civil war there in 1971. As it became apparent Charles IV intended to lead Castillia into a losing war with Gholgoth, he conspired with fellow BdC agents to assassinate Charles IV. Hailed as a controversial hero in Castillian history courses. Retired from the BdC in 1985. Died of natural causes in 1994. See The Acrimony of Brothers.

Hershey, Harvey Robert

5th President of the Castillian Federation, sworn into office after the assassination of John Sinclair Faring, his predecessor. Served as Vice-President to Faring. Wealthy industrialist, owning a number of aviation-related manufacturing, design, and transportation corporations. Previous was Minister of Aviation during the National Socialist era. Litheau, deLesseps Leasse "Chet"

Federal Ambassador to the Greater Díenstad Regional Council after its formation in 2031. Member of the Litheau political dynasty in Castillia, centralized in the Province of Ardèche. Formerly the Mayor of Marais Besançon. Known philanderer, his wife Marie has threatened to leave him on numerous occasions. Is rumored to have connections to the Amannitte crime families in Béziers. Petrovna, Zsuzsanna

Actress, model, socialite, mistress of Chet Litheau. Also known as "Zsu Zsu." Currently living in an upscale beachfront flat in Ringo, Novo Orontes. Born in the Federal Socialist Republic of Yaroslavl, has appeared in over 31 movies, many directed by billionaire industrialist-turned-politician Harvey Hershey. Won the Castillian Film Academy Award for Best Actress for her leading role in L'homme-armé dans-les Plaines in 2031. See GDRC: Red Eye's Cave.


Ploussaint, Cate

Federal Ambassador to the Confederate States of Anagonia, appointed by President John S. Faring in July 2032 to that post. A member of the Senior Foreign Service, holding the rank of Career Minister. Her past assignments have included serving as the Federal Ambassador to the Wanderjarian Vrijstaat, the Federal Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Greal, and as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs, heading the State Secretariat's Bureau of Consular Affairs, as well as numerous other assignments as a Consul earlier in her career. Snow, James

Political Fixer, served as overseer of the Fayzabad nuclear power plant construction in Barjaanistan on behalf of the Castillian government and organized crime groups. Known to many as Jimmy Snow. Originally from the Province of Northern Clasdon in former Castleclose. Had severe anger issues, was known to verbally attack most under his staff for the smallest infractions. Was under investigation by the Justice Secretariat while Michael Faring (brother of President John S. Faring) was Attorney General of the Federation for his connections to organized crime. Killed in the baggage claim area of Terminal C at Preslaff Capitole du Fédération Aerodrome during the Federation Day terror attacks. See All or Nothing At All.

Valerius, Titus

Former Emperor of Castillia, reigned as Titus I. Last emperor of the Castillian Empire. Reign was notable for the Empire becoming a bulwark against the spread of communism in Greater Dienstad and globally. Personally oversaw numerous military campaigns, was a shrewd tactician and noted for his regular sacking of commanders. Was ultimately killed in a Karniveran special forces raid on the former Imperial Palace in 2005. See KCNR.


Vaughn, John Oswald

Former Chancellor of the Castillian National Socialist State who is currently incarcerated in a special cell in Pénitencier Châteaulin. Born in Stevid, was before assuming power a custodian and political organizer for national socialist and pro-Ordenite causes. Assumed power during the state of chaos after the invasion of the Castillian Empire, ending the Imperial era and beginning the National Socialist era in 2006. Sought to "Anglicize" the Castillian nation and the people in it, which meant the suppression of the Castillian language and culture. Fled the country after the Mokan invasion in 2015, convicted in absentia by the Postwar Tribunals. Found responsible for the genocide of 867 million people during his regime.
