Albertine - Zoygariaian Ambassador to the Jumbosan Confederation Amadiu Šilažki was yesterday morning expelled from the Confederation of Jumbosa, which was confirmed by jumbosan Minister of Foreign Affairs Julia Garnier in a press conference this morning together with Ile Auxerpents's Chief of Police Maiximilien Ogier. Amadiu Šilažki has been given 72 hours to leave the country, and if he doesn't comply he will risk getting arrested. The official reason for the expulsion of the Ambassador was according to Garnier "that he had wrongfully accused the jumbosan confederation and the local police of barbaric and undemocratic actions, and that he had tried to interfere in issues he knew nothing about and had no right to try to interfere with". Julia Garnier continued the press conference with stating that "Jumbosa would be more than willing to let Amadiu Šilažki return to his position of Ambassador if he sends an official apology to the Jumbosan confederation where he apologizes for his untruthful accusations and his manners ill fit for a diplomat.". She further said that Jumbosa did not wish to escalate the situation further if Zoygaria promised to let the Jumbosan government and parliament run their country and to not try to interfere in business that did not concern them. But Garnier also sent a warning, saying that Jumbosa would not let history repeat itself and that "the jumbosan government would not be afraid to use all means needed to secure the safety of the Des Mann islands and its civilians".

Jumbosan and Zoygarian relations have been chilly in the past, after Zoygaria established a puppet state out of the Des Mann islands during the world war. Ever since has the relations between ethnic zoygarians and ethnic jumbosans on these islands been problematic and cold, and the jumbosan government has passed several laws to curb the zoygarian nationalism. The reasons for these drastic laws were that the parliament and government feared that the zoygarian nationalists would not be loyal to the country that they lived in and that they instead would try to return to Zoygaria. In recent years has the relations between Zoygaria and Jumbosa been warming up with the establishment of embassies in both countries, but the relations are expected to become chilly again after recent events.

After Minister of Foreign Affairs Julia Garnier's speech was it Ile Auxerpents's Chief of Police Maiximilien Ogier to make a public statement, where he answered on Amadiu Šilažki's criticism. Ogier stated that "the police of Ile Auxerpents acted according to the situation at hand, and that the police would never use violence unless they were forced to". He also said that Amadiu Šilažki defended terrorists, and that "it is very inappropriate for an ambassador to support violent protests and disturbance of the peace the way he did". Maximilien Ogier also said that the Des Mann legislature trusts in him and his police force, and that the Ile Auxerpents's police force only function is to serve the innocent civilians of c. Ogier ended his speech and the press conference with stating that he "do not wish for any further escalations and he hope that peace will return to Ile Auxerpents".

The actions of the Ile Auxerpents police and the Jumbosan government has been met with public outrage and huge criticism from jumbosan minorities, civil rights activists and socialists living in Albertine. Politicians in the Socialist Bloque said that this obvious corruption was the consequence of the corrupt democratic system of Jumbosa and that Jumbosa's political system needed an overhaul to allow the voices of all groups of Jumbosa, and not just the rich and ethnically jumbosan. Chancellor of Jumbosa Jospin Ramsamy has not made a public announcement yet, and the chance is big that he awaits a zoygarian response first.
