Embassy Closing/Opening Procedures Act (LAM #001)

Realizing the need for a defined embassy opening and closing policy,

The Legislative Assembly of the Union is hereby resolved to the following policy:

Embassy Opening

1. The foreign region requesting embassies must have a nation count of 50

1. This may be altered upon agreement between the Foreign Affairs Regional Officers and with approval from the founders/leadership of both regions or

2. If there are extenuating circumstances (such as alliances and treaties)

2. The foreign region requesting embassies must have a World Assembly Member count of at least 10

3. The foreign region requesting embassies must provide a valid reason for embassies to the Deputy of Foreign Affairs

1. In the event the Deputy of Foreign Affairs is unreachable, the request should be directed to the Foreman

   Embassy Closure

   Embassies may be revoked only with cause from the Deputy of Foreign Affairs or by the Foreman

   1. A valid reason must be presented for the embassy closure, such as

   1. The reason for the initial embassy is deemed invalid by simple majority of the Executive Council or a 2/3 majority of the Legislative Assembly

   2. The region is deemed inactive by the Deputy of Foreign Affairs
