This proposal endeavors to repeal the existing Security Council condemnation, Condemn The Black Hawks, on the grounds of, among other issues, its irrelevance and shockingly poor quality as compared to other, more recent resolutions. In particular, the author cites its failure to mention even one of the regions which The Black Hawks have affected; the frivolousness of its concerns over a failed self-commendation attempt; and misleading language which implies The Black Hawks have permanently commandeered hundreds of regions, many of which were actually comparatively harmless ?tag raids?. Moreover, the author attempts to assuage concerns borne from a desire to preserve World Assembly history by pointing out the easy availability of repealed resolutions (albeit with strikethrough text), and finally directs future condemnation attempts towards either the declaration function, or a condemnation of actual quality.
Our support for this repeal is twofold. First and foremost, we concur with the author?s analysis that the original resolution is poorly written, easily misunderstood, and, quite frankly, unacceptable in the modern environment of the Security Council. However, it has also not escaped our attention that raider factions, The Black Hawks very much included, draw great pride from their condemnations, and the striking down of this condemnation could deliver a blow to the so-called "Raider Unity" and their reprehensible actions as of late.
