State of Affairs in Andronya, March 2022

Andronya as of March 2022 is undergoing a political debacle.
After the withdrawal from the World Assembly and fall in popularity of the CPA due to passing it, popular sentiment and voting trends in Andronya have seen a considerable shift. The Libertarian Party has seen its highest popularity ever, and a lot of debates have appeared in Andronya regarding the future of the country in terms of both international and internal affairs. Taxes are higher than ever in Andronyan history, and the general discontent from the general populace towards the Federal Government has drastically increased. Joseph Aragon and the Andronyan Legislature as of late have been at odds with each other, the majority CPA Congress and Joseph Aragon have been a roadblock in each other's policies, and public sentiment has quickly shifted much more in favor of Aragon than it has towards the Federal Government.

Even though the Federal Government remains a NATO member and denounced Russia for its invasion of Ukraine, the general public in Andronya has been markedly more pro-Russian than the government has, this mostly due to NATO's refusal to further expand east and therefore de-escalate tensions with Russia. It has also been noted that Andronyans now trust the United States much less in regards to defense and leadership, this mostly due to Joe Biden's presidency, failure in Afghanistan and also due to the "The Calling" ads of the US army, which experts have noted as being a major point of distrust in the US as a capable military power. An interview of an unidentified Andronyan in the streets went viral when asked on the matter, where he remarked "Who the hell is goin' to defend us if China invades Andronya, eh? A littl' girl from California with two moms? A gay army? Their senile president? At this point I just don't trust the US defendin' us anymore, they seem to have lost the plo' and they seem to be at their weakest ever, at this poin' I really think Andronya should be re-evaluatin' its position in the world stage.", the interview gained millions of views, and the general populace of Andronya has been marked as sharing the sentiment. A movement has recently emerged demanding Andronya's withdrawal from NATO, citing the seeming incompetence of the body, especially from the US.

Overall, Andronya is currently seeing some complicated times, and it is unclear what the future holds for the country.
