Novella Islands Flags Act 2022

1. The full title shall be the Social Republic of the Novella Islands Flag Identification and Specifications Act 2022.
2. The short title shall be the Novella Islands Flags Act 2022.
3. The purpose of the act shall be to outline exacting specifications for flags through which the Novella Islands will be represented in various circumstances, including but not limited to peacetime operations, wartime operations, and special events.
4. The act shall enter into force one day after its passing.
1. The Social Republic of the Novella Islands shall be represented by a unique flag during times of peace.
2. The flag shall have such proportions that it is twice as long as it is tall; that is, a 1:2 Height:Length ratio.
3. The flag shall be comprised of the the following elements, each describing a layer above the previous:
a. A dark blue background (nominally, the hexadecimal code #223676).
b. A wide bend sinister in white (nominally, the hexadecimal code #FFFFFF), at 35° of elevation from the bottom-horizontal.
c. A thin bend sinister in dark blue (nominally, the hexadecimal code #223676), at 35° of elevation from the bottom-horizontal, overlaid upon the white, offset to the clockwise direction.
d. A centred roundel in dark blue (nominally, the hexadecimal code #223676), with a total diameter of one-half of the height.
e. A laurel wreath in gold (nominally, the hexadecimal code #d4bc6c), centred within the roundel.
f. A Edopru flower with five petals, centred within the roundel, with the following colouring:
i. Its petals in white (nominally, the hexadecimal code #FFFFFF).
ii. Its petals gilded with gold on their border (nominally, the hexadecimal code #d4bc6c).
iii. Its stamen in black (nominally, the hexadecimal code #000000).
iv. Its centremost point gilded in gold (nominally, the hexadecimal code #d4bc6c).
4. A visual example is provided in Annex A.
1. The Social Republic of the Novella Islands shall be represented by a unique flag during times of war.
2. The flag shall have such proportions that it is twice as long as it is tall; that is, a 1:2 Height:Length ratio.
3. The flag shall be comprised of the the following elements, each describing a layer above the previous:
a. A dark blue background (nominally, the hexadecimal code #223676).
b. A wide bend dexter in white (nominally, the hexadecimal code #FFFFFF), at 35° of depression from the top-horizontal.
c. A wide bend sinister in white (nominally, the hexadecimal code #FFFFFF), at 35° of elevation from the bottom-horizontal.
d. A thin bend dexter in dark blue (nominally, the hexadecimal code #223676), at 35° of depression from the top-horizontal, overlaid upon the white, offset to the clockwise direction.
e. A thin bend sinister in dark blue (nominally, the hexadecimal code #223676), at 35° of elevation from the bottom-horizontal, overlaid upon the white, offset to the clockwise direction.
f. A centred roundel in dark blue (nominally, the hexadecimal code #223676), with a total diameter of one-half of the height.
g. A ring of five-pointed stars in gold (nominally, the hexadecimal code #d4bc6c), with the axis of symmetry pointing inwards towards the centre of the flag, centred within the roundel.
h. A Edopru flower with five petals, centred within the roundel, with the following colouring:
i. Its petals in pink (nominally, the hexadecimal code #d12b5c).
ii. Its petals gilded with gold on their border (nominally, the hexadecimal code #d4bc6c).
iii. Its stamen in black (nominally, the hexadecimal code #000000).
iv. Its centremost point gilded in gold (nominally, the hexadecimal code #d4bc6c).

b. A wide bend sinister in white (nominally, the hexadecimal code #FFFFFF), at 35° of elevation from the bottom-horizontal.
