Sulivannian Broadcasting Network (SBN) [January 2022 - News & Weather]

In January 2022, I aimed to provide readers with new and important headlines in the country of Sulivannia on a daily basis (ideally). Due to the 800 character limit of signatures, the headlines in the signature are heavily condensed. This page provides more information and context for each headline and provides extra headlines that were not listed in the nation's signature.

The headlines that I haven't included, but not limited to, pertain to any state and territorial elections.

Notes:
Nooooo, I haven't completed my headlines yet, and some parts are quite sparse of news...

At the end of the winter break, both southern island territories and 120,000 students have begun the second semester of the school year, as the last territorties and subdivisions to do so in the nation. Overall, term 3 of the 2021-22 school year will conclude from late March to early April, and term 4 will conclude in from early May to mid-June depending on the state and territory.
For universities and most other tertiary educational institutions, semester 1 of 2022 has begun, with 11 million undergraduate and postgraduate students commencing classes from today to the next few days. This has also been a period where the growth of university students has reduced, owing to lowering domestic numbers, as the total number has increased by only 14% in the last 5 years. Some educational experts and governmental employees attribute this to the increase in vocational education, where such a degree would not be required. This was implemented from the efforts of three previous premierships, including current Prime Minister Grant Moulder, but they also want increasing international numbers from less-developed Feldaren countries in increasing their opportunities.

The 11th edition of the two-week biannual 2022 Feldare Military Games commences in Sulivannia, in Merrickville, Beaumont. It is the first time since 2012 that the event has been held in the winter of that year, now amid snowy conditions to test military people and equipment, in military and sports competitions. Amid peacetime and no major wars since the 1960s, a growing number of Sulivannians and Feldarens have grown disinterested and some have shown distaste in these competitions, deeming them outdated and depraved. Military personnel see this as an opportunity to compete against others in Feldare without aggressive intent.
