Repeal 'Paid Leave Act'

This proposal seeks to repeal GA 584 "Paid Leave Act", due to several apparent flaws. The target ostensibly fails to protect workers from retaliation for leave requests, places a severe financial burden on developing countries whose workers work abroad, and creates strong incentives for firms never to have more than fifty workers.

If authors want to repeal their own resolutions, we should defer to their judgement on their prior work. It takes courage to self-criticise one's own work or be won over to stand against past action. So long as the motive for repeal is not some kind of cynical ploy to rack up authorship credits, the Office recommends that voters respect an author's wishes in such a matter.
