Collective Defense Treaty Organization is an intergovernmental military alliance between 8 Earth 3.0 countries. The organisation implements the Collective Defense Treaty that was signed on 9th of Novemeber 2200.
CDTO constitutes a system of collective security, whereby its independent member states agree to mutual defense in response to an attack by any external party. The CDTO headquarters are located in Canberra Megacity, OF, with a second headquarters located in Onscow, SOB.
Since its founding, the admission of new member states has increased the alliance from the original 3 countries to 13. The most recent member state to be added to CDTO was Gilbert-istan The combined military spending of all CDTO members constituted a major amount of Earth 3.0 spending. Members agreed that their aim is to reach or maintain the target defense spending of at least 4% of their GDP
