Calebs Haven Ranger Service

The Calebs Haven Ranger Services (CHRS), commonly called the Haven Rangers (HR) , or Rangers is an investigative law enforcement and Intelligence agency. The Rangers are the domestic intelligence and security service of Calebs Haven and its principal crown law enforcement agency. Operating under the jurisdiction of the Caleb's Haven Ministry of Justice, the Calebs Haven Rangers is also a member of the Calebs Haven Intelligence Community and therefore reports directly to the Prime Minister. As Calebs Haven's leading counter-terrorism, counterintelligence, and criminal investigative organization, the Ranger Service has jurisdiction over violations of more than 200 categories of crimes against the crown.

The Calebs Haven Ranger Service consists of 2 Departments; The Department of Investigations (DI) and the Department of Intelligence (DI-2)

DEPARTMENT OF INVESTIGATIONS, CALEBS HAVEN RANGER SERVICE

Th Department of Investigations (DI) of the Ranger Service is a national security and law enforcement agency that uses, collects, and shares intelligence in all it does. As the only member of the Calebs Haven Intelligence Community with broad authority over criminal and terrorist acts on Haven soil, the Ranger Service has a sworn duty to protect all Haveners by staying ahead of national security threats to the homeland. The Department of Investigations of the Ranger Service mission is to uphold the Constitution and protect the Haven people.

The Department of Investigations major priorities are to:

Protect Calebs Haven from terrorist attack.
Protect Haven against foreign intelligence, espionage, and cyber operations.
Protect Haven against cyber-based attacks and high-technology crimes.
Combat significant cybercriminal activity.
Combat public corruption at all levels.
Protect civil rights.
Combat transnational criminal enterprises.
Combat significant white-collar crime.
Combat significant violent crime.

The Department of Investigations of the Calebs Haven Ranger Service has statewide jurisdiction in Haven , based in the capital city of New America. It was formly an elite security force for the House of Caleb and the Calebs Haven Corps. With the creation of the Motherland, the Calebs Haven Rangers were tasked with the
responsibility of protecting life and property and providing security for the boarders.

The Department of Investigations, under the Haven Ranger Service, are also responsible for apprehending wanted fugitives, providing protection for the crown judiciary, transporting prisoners, protecting endangered witnesses, and managing assets seized from criminal enterprises, and safeguarding the financial and critical infrastructure of Calebs Haven.

Over the years, the Haven Rangers have investigated crimes ranging from murder to political corruption (mostly international), acted in riot control and as detectives, protected various peoples of state, tracked down fugitives, and perform Quick Reaction Force (QRT) missions at the service of King and country.

DEPARTMENT OF INTELLIGENCE, CALEBS HAVEN RANGER SERVICE

Unlike the Department of Investigations (DI), which is a domestic security service, the Department of Intelligence (DI-2) has no law enforcement function and is officially mainly focused on overseas intelligence gathering, with only limited domestic intelligence collection. The Department of Intelligence serves as the national manager for the coordination of HUMINT activities across the Calebs Haven intelligence community. It is the only Department of the agency authorized by law to carry out and oversee covert action at the behest of the King of Calebs Haven. It exerts foreign political influence through its tactical divisions, such as the Special Activities Center. The DI-2 was instrumental in establishing intelligence services in several countries, such as Israel's Mossad. It has also provided support to many foreign political groups and governments, including planning, coordinating, training in torture, and technical support. It was involved in carrying out several regime changes, terrorist attacks, and planned assassinations of foreign leaders.

The Haven Rangers are not just an elite law enforcement agency, but it also performs the duties of a national guard. The Rangers are a well-equipped unit available for prompt mobilization during war and provide assistance during national emergencies such as natural disasters or civil disturbances.
