It is my pleasure to present to you the [b]Eighth Edition[/b] of the [url=https://www.nationstates.net/page=dispatch/id=1571335][b][i]Delegate's Briefing[/i][/b][/url], the fortnightly summary of the Supreme Leader's government's activities. 

I note with regret the departure of [nation]Witchcraft and Sorcery[/nation] from the office of Minister of Defence. The long-time public servant has expressed their desire to focus on real-life and we wish them all the very best as they do so. As is the often-repeated mantra of players, real life comes first before NationStates. We have had the benefit of Witchcraft and Sorcery's exceptional leadership as Prime Minister and Minister and we are thankful that they will continue to serve the Coalition as General in the South Pacific Special Forces as well as a member on the Legislator Committee. On this note, the Assembly has convened for a [b]Special Election[/b] to decide who shall become the new Minister of Defence. I warmly encourage all those who are even pondering a candidature to run; it is fantastic experience regardless of the outcome: [u]https://tspforums.xyz/thread-9920.html[/u]

The election buzz is likewise atmospheric in our regional gameside elections. The Second Round of the [url=https://www.nationstates.net/page=poll/p=179665][b]Local Council election[/b][/url] will soon conclude with the two highest voted candidates elected to the second and third seats in the Local Council. I wish all the candidates well and encourage those who have yet to do so to quickly vote for which candidate they feel best represents their interests.

On a final concluding note, may I tempt you, my dear Minion, to consider joining the [url=https://www.nationstates.net/page=un][b]World Assembly[/b][/url]. This is a critical element in NationStates and it is one where you can assist the Coalition in both increasing your own influence as a nation along with buttressing the defences of the South Pacific.
