 Overview
Here in Anubis, we strive to maintain an open, friendly atmosphere where all feel welcome. Before posting to our regional message board, or engaging with other residents through different means (telegrams, etc.), please read through both this guide, and the One Stop Rules Shop to ensure that your post/message is in compliance with both. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in punishment from either regional leadership, or the NationStates Moderators.

 RMB Rules and Restrictions
Anubis follows a Be Nice, Be Reasonable policy regarding posts to the RMB. Be kind to your fellow region-mates, and do not post unreasonable, offensive, or harmful content on the regional message board.

The following types of posts are prohibited

• Posts that spread hateful, far-right, or extremist ideologies/viewpoints.

  • Such posts will lead to an Ejection and Banishment from Anubis. No exceptions.

• Posts that use profanity or contain vulgar / mature content

  • (Keep it PG-13)

• Posts that engage in hyper-partisan bickering

  • Although reasonable political discussions are allowed, posts that resort to logical fallacies, ad hominems, or serve no purpose other than to further political division will not be tolerated.

• Spamming, trolling, or Flaming

• Posts that quote a suppressed post

  • Please edit out the quote, or your post may be suppressed as well.

• Recruitment Posts

• Posts that are excessively long

  • (Use spoilers if need be)

• Posts that contradict a Regional Officer

• Posts in languages other than English

  • Please translate if you are going to post on our RMB

 Reporting
If you see anyone violating the rules listed above, report the infraction to a Regional Officer. Telegrams are the most effective way to get our attention.

Harassment constitutes the repeated targeting of a specific nation with messages that violate the rules listed above, whether in the RMB or not. Harassment is NOT TOLERATED in Anubis. If you believe that you are the victim of harassment, send a telegram to one of the regional officers detailing the incident. We will investigate further, and may ask for screen shots of the incident if it did not occur in a location that is viewable to us. Screen shots can be sent by creating a dispatch with the image in it, and then sending us a link to the dispatch.

DO NOT ENGAGE with someone who has violated the rules. The regional officers will deal with infractions, and by interacting with the violator, you may risk breaking some of the rules yourself.

 Penalties
Rule violations will not go unpunished in Anubis. If a regional officer asks you to stop, then STOP. Failure to obey a regional officer will be dealt with harshly. Appeals can be made via telegram to Large Ladz or the Pharaoh, if you feel that you have been treated unfairly, but their word is final.

In ascending order of severity, the possible punishments for rule violations are as follows:

• Suppression of post

• 3-Day Ban from RMB

• 7-Day Ban from RMB and/or a Telegram from Large Ladz or the Pharaoh notifying the offender that they are 1 infraction away from ejection.

• Ejection

• Ejection and Banishment

The penalties listed above are not necessarily sequential. Steps may be skipped for severe violations.

Special Punishments:

• The promotion of fascist, hateful, or far-right ideologies carries a mandatory minimum of Ejection and Banishment.

• Posting on the RMB during an RMB Ban carries a mandatory minimum of Ejection.

• Harassment carries a mandatory minimum of Ejection and Banishment
