An Antarcticaon ship carrying nuclear waste hit an abandoned mine late last month, sending tons of nuclear waste into the ocean.

Antarcticao has evacuated its west coast along with the 2 northernmost islands in the Antarcticaon chain. President White of Antarcticao has received assistance from Patec and [nation=noflag]South Poopistan[/nation] and is set to meet with regional leaders to further discuss the issue. 

Dead doves in Catcher in the Rye (Nueva Rico) turning up on beaches likely due to flights thru the nuclear spill area tho it was not confirmed.

The statutory code reform amendment proposed by [nation=noflag]Catcher in the Rye[/nation] was signed into law on November 13th.

The amendment is a simplified and touched up version of its predecessor. Successfully delivering the same information in a more fluid easy to follow set up.

The new cabinet historically begins their appointed roles on November 21. This year it was moved to November 22.  New officials are appointed by the mayor based on merit. The cabinet is composed of some fine nations. Most have served some sort of office and one new to the region and government.

After mild debate on the method of taking the position of Judge it was reconfirmed that the mayor held the authority to appoint the justice. Noble Titans exercised this authority by reappointing the honorable Judge Antarcticao

We’ve been without a CoP for some time now. Crime has thankfully retained its almost unheard of status in the region tho we have had quite an influx in immigration without proper boarder control.[/box]

After a short month and a half of being CoP this nation resigned from their duties because they couldn’t make the appropriate time commitment. Patec is back and in business with a new position, more time, and new(to him) knowledge of the game. Some of that new knowledge being put use on this very dispatch:)

Deputy of any given department is traditionally selected by the head of said department. As part of his revival efforts the mayor took it upon himself to appoint deputies to various departments that may or may not be replaced in the future as department heads take full control of their areas.

This nation has long held the position of regional cartographer and was carried over from the previous cabinet to draw up our maps and work with Patec to head the interior.[/box]

[b][color=green]A Summit for Mother Nature[/b][/color]
The first Ridgefield Environment summit took place between Patec and Catcher in the Rye others planned to attend but couldn’t make it.
A new aspect to Ridgefield roleplay was envisioned at the summit. The two thought of a way to implement environments to Ridgefield. 

This will be very beneficial to roleplay and opens doors for more types of rp with focuses on environment. It’s possible this would give way for more factions to be created within the region such as green factions and opposing factions such as industrialist and capitalist.[i](factions are [b]NOT[/b] political parties)[/i]
