THE FLAT TAX ACT

A flat tax has been implemented in the nation of Calebs Haven.
The purpose of the tax law:
• Eliminate the distribution of wealth.
• Spur increased work, saving and investment.
• Lawmakers can no longer create tax loopholes in exchange for campaign
contributions or other personal favors.
• Businesses can make decisions designed to better serve the marketplace and their
stockholders, instead of trying to beat the tax code.
• Encourage investment and expansion, as additional profit is not taxed at a higher rate.
• Encourage economic growth.

• It promotes local spending.

Modifications to the tax law:

• An income level beneath which no taxes are paid.

• A small number of allowable deductions—charitable contributions and home mortgage deductions are among the most common.

THE WORLD ASSEMBLY MODERATION ACT
It has come to the attention of this governing body that the views and values of the World Assembly are not entirely aligned with that of Calebs Haven ;therefore, the purpose of this Act is to protect Calebs Haven from the governing body and the decisions made by the World Assembly that may go against the ethical beliefs, nature, and standards of Calebs Haven.

The provisions of this act will allow Calebs Haven to participate in the World Assembly, vetting all policies passed by the WA before enacting them thereby preventing the WA having any direct influence on the standards of Calebs Haven.

In doing so, this Act will therefore establish the Calebs Haven Council to counter act the measures of the World Assembly upon the great nation of Calebs Haven.

II. EXECUTIVE ACTIONS

Executive Order# 191104. Order Against Same Sex Marriage 

By the authority vested in me as Lord by the Charter of The Calebs Haven Corps and the laws of Calebs Haven I hereby  amend the existing law of Same Sex Marriages within the nation of Calebs Haven and all territories and colonies therein.

To secure and preserve the benefits of marriage for our society and for future generations of children, the union of one man and one woman in marriage shall be the only agreement recognized as a marriage or similar union for any purpose.

Only marriage between a man and a woman shall be valid or recognized in Calebs Haven. The uniting of two persons of the same sex in a civil union, domestic partnership, or other similar same-sex relationship shall not be valid or recognized in Calebs Haven.

Executive Order# 211120: Reinstatement Of Partisanship,  Devolution,  and Elections.

By the authority vested in me as Lord by the Charter of The Calebs Haven Corps and the laws of Calebs Haven I hereby amend the existing laws abolishing Partisanship,  Delegation of authority in local governments,  and elections within the nation of Calebs Haven and all territories and colonies therein.

This executive order hereby restates government partisanship, delegating authority to local governments,  and open, free, and fair elections.

Within this executive order, absolute authority shall continue to stay with the Lord of Haven.

STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLES

We, the people of Calebs Haven, challenge the cult of the omnipotent state and defend the rights of the individual.

We hold that all individuals have the right to exercise sole dominion over their own lives, and have the right to live in whatever manner they choose, so long as they do not forcibly interfere with the equal right of others to live in whatever manner they choose.

Governments throughout history have regularly operated on the opposite principle, that the State has the right to dispose of the lives of individuals and the fruits of their labor. Even within the United States, all political parties other than our own grant to government the right to regulate the lives of individuals and seize the fruits of their labor without their consent.

We, on the contrary, deny the right of any government to do these things, and hold that where governments exist, they must not violate the rights of any individual: namely, (1) the right to life—accordingly we support the prohibition of the initiation of physical force against others; (2) the right to liberty of speech and action—accordingly we oppose all attempts by government to abridge the freedom of speech and press, as well as government censorship in any form; and (3) the right to property—accordingly we oppose all government interference with private property, such as confiscation, nationalization, and eminent domain, and support the prohibition of robbery, trespass, fraud, and misrepresentation.

Since governments, when instituted, must not violate individual rights, we oppose all interference by government in the areas of voluntary and contractual relations among individuals. People should not be forced to sacrifice their lives and property for the benefit of others. They should be left free by government to deal with one another as free traders; and the resultant economic system, the only one compatible with the protection of individual rights, is the free market.

When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume, among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.--That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate, that governments long established, should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security. Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former systems of government.
