Refugia IFV: Repeal "World Assembly Headquarters"
Summary:
In Repeal: “World Assembly Headquarters”, the author is attempting to dismantle one of the oldest still-existing GA resolutions, GAR#8. They state that in modern times, there is no need for a building specifically intended to contain the WA delegations of every World Assembly nation. It would be better for the environment to have the World Assembly delegations meet from home over Zoom, and instead use the space for other “social goods”, including but not limited to social housing, many pubs, and the world’s largest brothel.
Opinion:
This is being taken by the international community to be a joke proposal, but I think it is a great and terrible and very real threat to society. If we don't maintain extreme vigilance, the red army will close in on our democratic institutions to tear them down and instead install tankie literature presses. I simply cannot deal with having to read over Capital, Volume 2 again, especially if it means I can no longer attend brunch. To engage with it more seriously, I find GA delegations rping being in the same building as one another entertaining and I would really hate for someone to repeal that so that we’d all have to pretend we’re over Zoom. I hate Zoom enough in real life, I don’t need it here.

Attempting to connect to the rest of the world through her university-allocated Zoom profile, the Refugia Councillor of World Assembly Affairs has lodged a recommendation to vote against Repeal “World Assembly Headquarters”.
