The Emergency Government of South Pacific is led by what remains of the former government with continuity of government protocols establishing an interim authority led by former Prime Minister and now Emergency Administrator Witchcraft and Sorcery. The Emergency Government has five departments, largely in line with the pre-apocalypse government; the Department of Inter-Vault Relations (Coordinator Qvait) which manages relations with the remaining vaults housing survivors and scattered across the world; the Department of Bunker Defences (Coordinator HumanSanity) that is in charge of reinforcing the 92 inches concrete shells protecting survivors from the radioactive blasts overland; Department of Morale (Coordinator New Quebecshire) which boosts the spirits of survivors by organising the remaining happiness in the world; Department of Information (Coordinator Emodea) that disseminates critical information on nuclear survival; and, the Department of Engagement (Coordinator United States of Vietnam) responsible for dictating work rotations to maintain the vault.

The Vault Council (chaired by Tepertopia) is the unicameral legislative body and consists of one representative from each floor of the vault. The Vault Council meets on an irregular basis to legislate the rules and regulations governing the survivors of Vault South Pacifica. It conducts its business in Council chambers located on sub-level 68 but has occasionally been known to meet in the 2,000 seat mess hall when it is fake-taco Tuesday.

The Survivors' Court is the sole judicial authority in Vault South Pacifica and is presided over by Justice Kringalia. The Court has in severe cases, handed down punishments of exiling offenders to the overland to die by radiation poisoning.

The inter-level happenings of Vault South Pacific is regularly monitored by the Committee for Peace (PenguinPies, Murelia, Concrete Slab), a voluntary corps of survivors that ensure regular order is maintained in the vault.
