Council Foreign Report
Authored by The Constitutional Republic of Zion.

On August 12th, the Council’s mid-term nomination cycle ended with Terranihil, Chief Consul Emeritus, being nominated and confirmed to serve on the Council for the remainder of the term. On 16 August, the Council was asked by the Consulate to hold an advice and consent vote to ratify the Partnership for Sovereignty charter after The League was accepted into the organization. As The League has no official mechanism for treaty ratification, the vote was unofficial and used to collect the opinions of the Council’s members. The Council voted unanimously to recommend the ratification of the Partnership for Sovereignty Charter.

The Council also hosted a discussion on which delegates should be sent to represent The League at the Partnership for Sovereignty. Several Council Delegates made recommendations that contributed to the Consulate’s final decision. The current cycle for Council member terms will end on 14 September, resulting in nominations for the upcoming term.

The Speaker of the Council at the time of this report is The constitutional republic of zion.
