Biography

Early Life

Francisco Franco was born in Ferrol, Galicia, when Spain was an independent kingdom. Born and raised in a Catholic family, Franco was baptized thirteen days after his birth in a military church. His family was an Andalusian family that relocated to Galicia, and began a centuries-long career in the Spanish Navy. His family included several Admirals and other officers. Franco's father was part of the Spanish Navy as a vice-admiral. He had two brothers, and two sisters. Franco was always devoted to God, in his own words, and dedicated time to God.

During the Spanish-American War, Franco's family was among the first to encounter American forces sweeping across Galicia. Franco's father was involved in the Invasion of Galicia, and was killed by American forces after fiercely defending Galicia from American forces. Franco reportedly did not take the news well, however he got over it, accepting that his father finally met God himself. As a result, Franco became more focused on his religion, however he did have several problems with the American occupation forces, including the Spanish genocide during the early 1900s, which Franco viewed as pure evil, as it was murder of God's children. Franco, wanting to continue the family tradition, enlisted in the U.S. Navy.

Service in the United States Navy

After enlisting in the United States Navy and graduating from a Naval Academy, Franco was assigned to cruiser Baltimore, before the First World War. Franco was often seen complaining about the hot weather of the Atlantic Fleet's deployment areas, including the Mediterranean. During his service time in the US Navy prior to the First World War, Franco would be successively transferred to various ships from time to time, including the US Navy pre-dreadnought ship Iowa, battleship Michigan, and US Navy battleship Galicia, named for his home area. During WW1, Franco was stationed onboard Galicia when the fighting began, and he participated in the war. He was present when the US Navy bombarded French forces in Catalonia, and after the war ended, was transferred off the Galicia.

At the interwar period, Franco was in service with the U.S. Mediterranean Fleet, but was transferred to the Pacific Fleet, being transferred to battlecruiser Lexington in 1928, before being transferred to battleship New York, then finally, onboard battlecruiser Saratoga in 1934. Franco himself stated that he loved to be on board the battleships and battlecruisers, feeling proud of their large armaments. He was also promoted to Captain during 1935, as a result of 'high honors' being bestowed upon him. During the onset of WW2, he was stationed at the Pacific, however, when the Japanese launched their campaign of conquest, Franco was immediately put into action. Commanding the Saratoga, Franco served as its captain during the war, and participated in the War as a major hero. In 1942, Franco assisted the USS Washington in crippling and eventually sinking Japanese ship Kirishima, and later on in 1943, his ship participated in the offensive in Guadalcanal, providing fire support. On June 1944, Franco was transferred to the USS Missouri, becoming its captain. When Japan surrendered, Franco was present, and it was even rumored that he took a photo of it.

After the war's end, Franco remained on the Missouri as captain before being promoted to a Rear Admiral (Lower-Half) in 1946. After being promoted, he continued serving the United States Navy and even becoming part of the few remaining officers campaigning for active use of battleships. His service in the Missouri came to an end when he was transferred off Missouri and onto the aircraft carrier Enterprise in 1948, after negotiating for it to remain in service with the Navy.

His service onboard the Enterprise, now stationed in the Atlantic, became rocky as the Spanish Insurgency exploded into the 1956 Spanish "Civil War". As he was part of the U.S. Navy, Franco was ordered to support the Federal Government and their allies. Enterprise, under his command, proved to be effective at air-striking targets and supporting units, providing CAS. In 1957 he was awarded a medal for his service to the United States Navy. In 1959, when the war ended, Franco retired from the Navy. Wanting to be more active in politics, he joined the FET-JONS party in 1960.

Election as VP

Representing FET-JONS, Franco participated in the Vice Presidential Elections during the 1960s. He was nominated as their candidate after proving to be an effective speaker. Though this was done without his consent, as he was just newly enlisted into the party. Franco once commented that "they were putting too much work on a new recruit" and once said that there was no way he would be elected VP. However, his status as a war veteran put him at a position where he would be voted in by a majority of military veterans. And thus, he narrowly won the VP elections.

His reign as a Vice-President was mostly quiet, with most of this part of his life being only notable due to the fact that Franco once went on a tour to visit the Navy. However, there is little doubt that Franco and John F. Kennedy did not get along with each other. Mostly due to Franco's incessant obsession with the Navy and God, which irritated Kennedy. However, Kennedy did not find him to be worth hate. Rather, Kennedy and Franco kept a rivalry with each other, with Franco and Kennedy agreeing to not talk with each other unless it was for government affairs.

Franco was eventually appointed by Kennedy as part of the National Aeronautics and Space Council. Tasked with evaluating the United States' space programs, and was tasked with finding a way to catch up to the USSR after they leaped ahead in the Space Race. While part of NASC, Franco suggested that the United States commit resources onto the Appolo program. As a result, the Apollo program became the US's top priority in order to beat the space race, and it gave Kennedy an excuse to focus on NASA. While working in the NASC, he befriended another NASC councilman named Lyndon B. Johnson, who would eventually become one of his closest friends and allies.

During his last year as the Vice President, Francisco Franco was touched by a scandal involving a member of the Senate, a member of the FET-JONS party, and bribery. Though it did not touch Franco, there were still rumors of him getting booted out of the vice-presidency as a result of this. However, Kennedy assured the public that Franco was innocent and that he was not going to be kicked out, despite this though the negative view of FET-JONS did affect Franco's position.

President of America, and Death

However, Franco would find himself as the President of the United States after being sworn into the presidency in November 1963, just two hours after Kennedy was assassinated. While on Air Force One, Franco would be sworn in in a rush after word came in. Five days after being sworn into the presidency, Francisco Franco made a public appearance in his "We must continue" speech, emphasizing civil rights, God, and also served as a eulogy to John F. Kennedy, who Franco viewed as a good person despite their friction and refusal to talk with each other.

Franco's regime was characterized with a "War on Poverty" started by Franco at the behest of LBJ after a telephone call that convinced Franco to pull this off. Accompanying this were other legislative changes such as a tax cut, and the Civil Rights act of 1964. Franco has, many times before, insisted that all Americans are God's children, no matter the skin tone, or race. Influenced by teachings at the behest of LBJ, Franco became a strong advocate for civil rights, and questioned the Jim Crow laws, replying with his own personal Catholic beliefs. And as a result, the Civil Rights Act was signed, giving Franco public support. In 1964, his reign as the president continued, winning up to forty-six states compared to his opposition, who only secured six states.

The Franco Administration also provided heavy support to NASA, funneling billions of dollars to get an edge in the Space Race against the Soviet Union. Franco's greatest achievement was successfully getting NASA to land on the moon in 1969, signaling America's dominance over the USSR in the Space Race. Though NASA did plan to go even further by getting humans to land on Mars, however, Franco told NASA to put the project in the shelf until America truly was ready to get to the stars beyond what lies behind human vision. Of note is that due to his connection with now-NASA Administrator Lyndon B. Johnson, Franco was able to integrate NASA directly into Federal hands, with heavy support and funding from the government.

Franco's Regime did have its own dark spots though, including the approval of several rather controversial decisions approved by the CIA. In particular, he sponsored American terrorism by supplying materials from MKNAOMI to IRA terrorists during the Troubles, resulting in the UK granting massive concessions for the province of Ireland, in particular reparations for the years of oppression. And during the Blue Revolutions, MKULTRA was revived in order to 'convince' pro-British politicians to turn to Republicanism, with it being 50% successful. Franco also spent many resources containing British influence rather than improving the joint ICN intelligence community. It is reported that Franco's regime was a major proponent for republican terrorism in the 60s and 70s. He was also responsible for the admission of Dominica as the 54th state of the United States, much to the protest of many. However, the Vietnam War in later years changed everything.

Franco ordered American troops into Vietnam in 1966, signaling the start of the Vietnam War which would change Southeast Asia forever. At first, the decision was only met by minor anti-war protesting, however as time marched on, it only intensified, growing steadily. Franco reassured the public that the Vietnam War was just another effort of the United States to combat enemies of the International Coalition, however, he was only met with more dissatisfaction and slowing public support. By the early-1970s, after years of being furious at America's interference in Vietnam, anti-war opinion rose sky-high, and Franco, desperate to resolve it, ordered the mass use of Agent Orange and Napalm to end the war quickly, although rather it sparked the Tet Offensive in 1974, which was a massive defeat for the North and its allies, the PRC and the USSR, but a pyrrhic victory for the ICN-supported South.

As Franco continued to lose public support, he also became notoriously ill, with failing health conditions about to follow him, Franco made it his objective to win in Vietnam as fast as possible, even if it meant burning Vietnam to the ground. Franco was notoriously fanatically devoted towards the policy of containment, and made it his objective to make sure Vietnam stayed free. Compared to later presidents however, Franco was tamer compared to the likes of Michael Dugan, who used nuclear weapons against China after the Vietnam War. On 20 November, 1977, after narrowly winning re-elections, Franco died of heart failure while sleeping. He was buried in Ferrol, Galicia. He was the ninth U.S. President to die in office, only after John F. Kennedy.

"God is our guiding light, trust in him, and you will achieve the impossible." - Franco, circa 1972.

Political Views and Works

Franco's ideology is a combination of left-wing rhetoric including the empowering of the working class, radical civil rights agendas with echoes of emancipation, expanded healthcare resources, harsher progressive taxes, and erasure of poverty, mixed with elements of saber-rattling nationalistic tendencies, civic nationalism towards America nearing fanatical levels and its non-Monarchist allies, and aversion or downright disdain towards Russian Communism and Monarchism has painted him as a Social Nationalist, with a fervently entrenched belief towards a stronger America with the workers and peasants as its backbone and its soul. In his speeches, he has expressed sympathy for democratically elected leaders, socialist, liberal, or conservative alike, and expressed disdain for the perceived undemocratic tyranny of the USSR and China's ruling parties, which were 'unfairly put into power by despots in red uniforms' as well as the United Kingdom, condemning its 'increasingly outdated system', 'absolutist control over the nation', 'vain attempts at maintaining its colonial empire' and its advancing age'.

Franco's left-nationalist traits increasingly blur the fragile left-right 'divide' that once determined ideology past the French Revolution. Franco also helped the merging of the former CNT-FAI into the FET-JONS party, creating the CNT-FET-JONS in 1964, becoming a party known for its alignments to both right and left wings, placing it firmly nowhere on any known political compass, seeing as it advocates for both patriotism, religion, and worker's unions. Franco's religious alignments, rather than moderating his American Nationalism, instead amplified it under the doctrine of "God wills it" and motivated him to push toward extreme measures to ensure democracy and freedom triumphed over petty things like monarchies and Russo-communism. Among the things Franco has done, he has subscribed to the 'Policy of Containment' which was designed to severely limit British and Russo-communist influence, by massively intervening and sponsoring regime changes throughout the planet, from proxy wars to revolutions.

To add to this, during his presidency, he also introduced several controversial laws that were deemed socialist by most of the conservative crowd, at least the economic conservatives. He instituted a law to 'break the masters of finance' and get them to comply with the U.S. government's laws known as the 1965 Anti-Financial Crime Act, including the freezing of corporate assets of some monopolies and the setting up of state-funded competitors to break monopolies before they are even formed. Alongside this, a law, known as the 1966 Anti-Suppression Act, was passed that would protect whistleblowers and journalists from the hands of corporations, one such incident happened where a corporation's bureaucracy was sentenced to death for trying to assassinate a whistleblower who exposed OSHA violations. He has also instituted a massive anti-tax evasion law, known as the 1968 American anti-Evasion Act. In the event a person or corporation, usually of the higher class, was found evading taxes, their assets would be frozen, distributed to smaller competitive companies, and the perpetrator thrown in jail. This has been lauded as unconstitutional by many, but many middle and lower class support his laws as it allows them to survive.

Of note is that most Francisco Franco's policies during his reign as a President, bar the radical left-wing ones, were not exactly original, they were thought of by the NASC Councilman, NASA Administrator, and Democrat party member Lyndon B. Johnson, who envisioned a great society with poverty only being an afterthought. While his reputation is stained due to the political suicide of escalating the Vietnam War, Franco did uphold his promise to Johnson, who regarded the man as a great person.

Franco was also an overt advocate for the International Coalition. Promoting unity, federation, cooperation, and mutual assistance, with America acting either as the beacon that guides nations into it, or the right arm of the free world supporting those who cannot support themselves. He views any nation with despotic and authoritarian leanings as a potential enemy of the United States, regardless of so-called 'benevolence' among these nations, and was ignorant of the opinion of the people in favor of 'guiding the people away from propaganda' through purges, counter-propaganda, and disinformation campaigns. Franco's Policy of Containment was designed with the intent to severely disrupt and destroy Britain's ties to its colonies and was ultimately successful as many former colonies of the UK withdrew from the proposed commonwealth and aligned with the United States. Franco's severe hatred of monarchies, be they constitutional or absolutist, has resulted in violent and 'extremely nationalist' sentiments. It is estimated that under Franco, more Americans were exposed to 'Purple Scares' against monarchies of all kinds, as well as 'Black Scares' targeting supposed sympathizers towards authoritarian and despotic ideologies, with one such Black Scare claiming the life of one George Lincoln Rockwell by lynching from his 'Hate Bus' that was later tossed off a cliff.

Franco's extreme foreign policies do not necessarily end at his Monarchophobia however. Franco is an extreme interventionist, and was the main driving force towards continued deployment in foreign wars around the world. From the Dominican Civil War, to the Vietnam War, and the Simba Rebellion in the Congo. His actions also included a massive diplomatically expansionist doctrine, culminating in the annexation of Dominica as the 54th US state in 1967 after the Civil War ended. Though the annexation was held with little CIA interference under his orders, just so Franco could legitimize the annexation and come off as a diplomatic genius by taking advantage of the Dominican-Haitian rivalry, especially after starting a smear campaign against François Duvalier that accused him of collaborating with the despotist Beria administration, despite the incompatibilities of both regimes. Franco's diplomatically expansionist and interventionist foreign policy has turned many off from re-voting for him during the 1968 elections but earned him a coalition with the Democratic Party's 'Johnson Democrats' named for Lyndon B. Johnson, alongside the 'Right-Trotskyists' of the Democratic Party.

While Franco was president, he preached his opinion on racism: Racism needed to be purged from the United States, even if they had to resort to extreme measures. Franco's fanatical nationalism, religious loyalty, and socialist ideals, when dealing with racism, came together to form an extreme stance towards dealing with this issue. In 1964, he passed the Civil Rights Act, and when it was wildly protested and declared unconstitutional, Franco reinforced it. After Illinois Governor George Wallace stood up for two black students at his Stand in the Schoolhouse Door, combined with the Little Rock 9's entry assisted by the 101st Airborne, Franco called upon military support and spoke about how it was time to put segregation down once and for all. However, his extreme stance went both ways. When the Nation of Islam and Black Panther Party increased their violence in an effort to push their black nationalist ideals, Franco declared them terrorists alongside the American Nazi Party and the KKK. Franco authorized military force against them in an effort to curb-stomp the two-way sides of racism.

Franco's nationalism and fanatical faith in the nation extends to the political system as well, albeit with some grievances. While Franco does hold some animosity for some of the presidents and political parties within the United States, he places a high amount of faith in the 4-party system. Believing that the 4-party system provides an outlet for Americans to debate while still maintaining unity as one identity - American. While he is unwavering in his suspicion of the Orthodox Wing of the CPUSA, is cautious about the Democrats' Neo-Conservative wing, also known as the 'Right-Trotskyist' wing, and holds animosity towards the Republican Party's libertarian wing, he still places absolute trust in the Electoral Process, citing that this democracy style promotes 'Social and Cultural Unity' among the American populace. However, he has faced backlash for his efforts to syncretize America.

However, one of the most infamous parts of his presidency, and the one that still haunts his legacy in the worst way possible, was the CIA's controversial tactics for sparking the 'Blue Revolutions' that would ultimately transform many ex-UK colonies and European monarchies into Republics. MKULTRA, also known within Franco's cabinet by various names, including 'The Sleepwalker Program' by Secretary of Defense McNamara and the 'Control Commission' by the Department of Defense in its documents. MKULTRA was used extensively in Canada, New Zealand, Australia, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, and South Africa. The Blue Revolutions were entirely engineered by the use of MKULTRA, which, through the use of electric conduction, hypnotic therapy, conditioning, pavlovian psychology, and sensory deprivation - in essence, brainwashing, the US converted many political radicals and random citizens taken from the streets into unwitting puppets for the CIA to activate and bring down potential allies to the United Kingdom. Decades after Franco died, MKULTRA was declassified by President Barack Obama in 2014. After Franco's death and before Sabre's Presidency, ULTRA was rarely used. Instead, in its stead was MKNAOMI, an extensive biological and chemical weapons program, with materials from NAOMI supplied to organizations such as the IRA and the FNLA.
