The NV4 is used by all branches of SATO, from the Coast Guard to the elite S.C.A.R Fireteams. Due to selective fire, the assault rifle may be shot both in semi-automatic and fully-automatic firing modes. The 'M4A1 of the future' is chambered in the 5.56 round, is a somewhat simple weapon to maintain, offers lower recoil than SATO's secondary Assault Rifle option and as mentioned, is very modular, from an effective suppressor to the renowned VMC sight.

The KBAR-32 is also slightly less modular, for instance suppressing the rifle tends to mitigate it's noise signature to a minimal level, to the point it is almost redundant. This Bullpup is also selective fire, yet still has a harder time at range than the NV4 due to it's shorter barrel length. Nevertheless, where the KBAR-32 is effective, it outclasses the NV4.

The FHR-40 offers advantage in suppression due to it's heavy fire rate, assault tactics due to it's somewhat light weight and as a PDW due to it's high magazine size, the common FHR-40 variants offering the user sixty armour-penetrating 5.7mm bullets at any given time. However, it has an extremely small effective range due to it's substantial recoil and short barrel, and is difficult to maintain in comparison to other standard-issue firearms.

The Karma-45 is a surprisingly reliable submachine gun when in use at a good condition, yet proves to be one of the hardest conventional weapons to repair. It's multipurpose role proves to make the Karma-45 one of the most popular firearms of the SATO Marine Corps, though almost unseen by other branches due to it's oddities. Intelligence also suggests that the Karma-45 is also somewhat popular within the Settlement Defense Front in addition.

Moving on, the Titan is a heavy weapon, and because of the fact and in addition it's simulated recoil systems and quick rate of fire, a single person cannot effectively wield it, and so when used is deployed for heavy weaponry fireteams, similar to the Mauler. As aforementioned, the Titan is situational, where it proves more effective against robotics than perhaps other offensive utilities, though the Mauler outclasses the energy Light Machine Gun in fighting infantry and vehicles. The Reverse-Engineered Titan is limited to SATO marines, with no use by other branches with exception to S.C.A.R on rare instances.

The 'Mauler' is used by all branches of SATO, though by the Coast Guard and Marine Corps moreso than the Navy and Special Forces units. The Coast Guard find the HMG invaluable as stationary emplacements, and the absolute power offered by the weapon makes it a favourite of the Marines, either used by fireteams for suppression or anti-material duties or otherwise attached to their many ground vehicles.

The Widowmaker, chambered in the .308 caliber bullet, which allows the rifle to hold ten bullets at any given time within it's magazine and often made to fire in Full Metal Jacket rounds is revered by S.C.A.R Fireteams and the Marine Corps for it's modularity, anti-material capabilities, multi-role and reliability. For whilst the New Age CheyTac is difficult to repair, it often should not need to fall to that due to it's ease of maintenance. The Widowmaker is not seen commonly even so, as the KBS-Longbow is a cheaper alternative for it's role, though it is claimed by those issued with the New Age CheyTac that they would not replace it.

The KBS-Longbow by standard is equipped with a bipod to further mitigate it's kick in a stationary position, and is one of the most mechanically reliable weapons used by SATO forces due to it's ability to both be repaired and maintained easily. It is somewhat modular, and recently Kendall Ballistics has begun creation of an integrally-suppressed model for use in covert ops, and to hopefully tap into the Coast Guard and S.C.A.R branches and the monetary gain that may come from it.

The Kendall LH44 is a modular weapon, able to be modified to it's base level. A larger barrel, a use of an extended magazine that would perhaps upgrade it's otherwise mediocre, original 10 round magazine, modification to fire in full-auto fire, accessories such as a laser sight or flashlight and the effective use of a suppressor, what can be named can most likely be performed. It is also very reliable as it is unlikely to break down, and is easily maintained. Kendall's Sidearm is hugely famed for a reason.

The Spartan SA3 is the only missile launcher used in official capacity by SATO Forces, and any effort for private or public institutions to muscle in on Madison Corp's hold over SATO's missile launcher sector have gone mostly unsuccessful. The Spartan SA3 is somewhat reliable, yet unmodifiable.

Such conversation segways somewhat cleanly into discussion on what the Navy may wear. Standard-issue pertains that Naval officers wear dress uniforms in urban camouflage coloured in grey and Aegean blue. Featured would be two patches, one of which would detail the officer's surname as to identify oneself to fellow crew members, and another most often a sigil used to represent the warship said member operates under. For instance, the Sigil of the UNSA Retribution is one such recognizable symbol of identification.
SATO naval officers are always assigned a helmet to be used in depressurized or hostile conditions as so there may be a source of oxygen. In addition, if forced into the rare occurrence pertaining ground operations, members of the Navy may also be assigned basic body armour, such as ballistic jackets. To finish, when operating within smaller crafts such as the Jackal Fighter, or the Raven Transport Ship, Naval officers often wear pilot's uniforms that look not unlike those of SCAR Fireteam members, though perhaps more simple.

But what is a serving man or woman without accompanying equipment? SCAR teams are represented as the best of the best not only in personal skill, but what they are given. No better example may be seen than with the combat armour worn. SCAR armour functions both as more-than-serviceable Pilot's Uniforms which seal the user from the negative effects of Sky and Space and with all the tools to help a man or woman's functionality within the cockpit, and due to rare outer-earth resources and the best in artificial creation, are also given protection from small-caliber ballistics and energy blasts without sacrificing mobility in ground operations. SCAR Fireteams also often make use of rigs, such as the Boost rig which supplies energy into provided functions to allow temporary technologically created flight for maneuvering, something that other ground operatives often do not get the privilege of.
There are a few quirks of SCAR Fireteam uniforms. For instance, the helmet and supporting imbeds allow for something truly unique. Through the translation of radiation, visual and many other detectable functions, the SCAR Team helmets translates said signals into, often great auditory 'artificial' stimuli, which allows said operative to 'hear' sounds of varying fuctions, even within the vacuum of space where true sound cannot travel.

The C12 has two configurations, which either allows the Tank to be operated on autopilot with a somewhat limited yet competent AI Platform, or remote controlled by a soldier via communications and advanced 'hacking' equipment from further afield. Thick 40 to 75mm Armour depending on the section of the Main Battle Tank allows the C12 to sustain multiple hits from small arms and Personnel use explosive ordnance, such as the Spartan SA3 Missile Launcher before being immobilized or destroyed, and allows it to become almost impervious to conventional firearms. The C12 is also able to curl and move into a tight space due to a multi-jointed chassis and it's use of mechanical legs rather than tracks or wheels, allowing it to be transported even by a Raven. When a C12 is deployed by SATO, it's use in Ground Operations become instrumental to success, and it is common practice to actively defend the Main Battle Tank with human, drone and additional vehicle support from enemy fire.

As was mentioned beforehand, the Space and Surface Multipurpose Vehicle is most often seen, and in large quantities to boot by SATO's preliminary Ground Operations forces, the Marine Corps. Most often, a Marine themselves commandeers the vehicle and operates it, though on rare occasions can be either remote controlled or put on auto-pilot. It's cannon may prove to be extremely useful in ground ops, especially where a C12 may not be deployed, and may act in addition as mobile protection for forces that have boots on the ground in a pinch.

The ATAD is a functionally adept drone. It is loaded with a custom-made 5.56mm machine gun that can shoot twenty rounds before needing to be resupplied, a projectile-detecting and intercepting 'Trophy System' that neutralizes explosives and other personnel-thrown lethals and an advanced target acquisition monitor which can identify hostile threats with a delay of at most, a second. The four thrusters of which it is given allows the drone to move flexibly, and at speeds maximum of 43 Kilometres per hour, and though any armour is light, it can withstand around half a dozen conventional weapon shots before being destroyed. Captured and reproduced ATAD's are suggested to be in use by the Settlement Defense Front.

The Ground Resupply drone is a skeleton of a chassis has a simple artificial intelligence, of which holds a 'care package' with clamps between the chassis and hovers to a designated target via boost propulsion, that may travel a maximum of six kilometres before fuel is exhausted. These 'care packages' may hold a multitude of different equipment, from performance-enhancing 'rigs', to weaponry and ammunition for various small arms and other equipment, such as offensive grenades and the ATAD to utilitarian repair tools or paramedic equipment.

However, travel through an essentially dangerous entity of space brings risk... A chance that the singularity completely erases a warship is always present, up to 10% chance if conditions are met. The technology is still prototype, however is essential for the travel across the Solar System in the day and age where fast responses, communication and the such are needed for multiple reasons, the largest in protecting UNSA controlled space from SetDef raids. When going through a Drop, the artificial black hole encapsulates a craft in a blue ring, that is suggested to translate into the 'warp', covered in a blue, strange realm of light... All SATO ships are given alarm systems which warn the warship among a drop if the exit via the White Hole will be in a hostile environment, for instance an asteroid field, debris and the such to circumnavigate the risk of 'dropping' head-first into a barrier which would cause the ship to be completely destroyed due to the speed.
