History

While the Thirteen Hells seem to predate most of creation it is thought that it was created shortly after the Elder Titans and the Celestial Home. Originally created as a place to keep the enemies of the ruling Titans, the Hells later became a place of imprisonment for all walks of life. While the leadership of the Heavens would change often, especially when the ruling Titan died or a larger religion took over the throne of Celestial Protector, those imprisoned would suffer just as greatly. Through the ages many great Devils came to rule over the Hells, and even more time the Hells have remained divided. Today the Hells are a realm with much more problems as it remains loosely unified by a weak despot ruler named Suhtein.

Infamous Leaders and Historical Figures

Leadership : Hell has always been a chaotic place, in its creation it was merely fire and brimstone, but over time more and more layers have been added, both for the “safety” of the dead as well as it’s natural born inhabitants. While Hell has remained a place of torture for many millennium, its leadership has changed, and often changing. While Demon can rise to the rank of Devil, meaning King of Hell and the Infernal, there is the ancient race of Devils which were the original inhabitants of Hell. However after the first lineage of the Three Devil Kings the throne of Hell was erupted into civil war, leading to several challengers, conquerors, demon dukes and others rising to the position of power. But like the rest of the Hells the position of Devil is as much trouble as it is gratification for tyrants and narcissists.

The following is a list of all Devils and their reigns:

- Halden “the Chained” : A Titan who rivaled his brethren’s for ultimate power over the Universe, after loosing the First Titan War Halden was banished to the realm of Hell where he created the Infernal races. {Rule : The Fall of Halden to The Cosmic Uprising}

- Morgehk : The first Devil King of the Algerath Dynasty, Morgehk rose to power during the chaos of the Cosmic Uprising when the young Gods revolted against the Titans. The Gods, who were the offspring of the Human imagination and the Titan’s mystic powers, defeated their ancestors and forever disunited the planes. Morgehk in the chaos rose to prominence as leader of the Infernal. {The Cosmic Uprising to The Temptation of Intelligent Humans}

- Falves : The first son of King Morgehk, Falves, was known for expanding the Abyssal Plane of Hell, creating an inner plane for his royal court and family to stay, this plane is now known as Reynan. He also created several other rings as well as his work tempting humanity. He was eventually deposed by his son Nim’urh. {~11,000 B.C. to 8,012 B.C.}

- Nim’urh : Son of King Falves, Nim’urh was a “weaker” king in the sense that he focused more on his realm, rather than the temptation humankind. He was the Devil to add in Leithor : The Dark Sands of the Lost, Akherron : The Infinite Rivers of Paths, and Limbo : The Gates Between Hells. While many consider Nim’urh a dull leader he helped mold it into a powerful plane to mess with. However he was killed in the fields of battle in the Ring of Tarnas’es by Lucien. {8,011 B.C. to 6,660 B.C.}

- Lucien “the Fallen” : Originally an Angel, a race created by the gods as a servant race, fell from his holy position as guardian of the Heavens. He rose to power in the shadows of Hell and disrupted the lineage of the first Three Devil Kings. He would go on to become the most infamous Devil with his reign of terror on both Hell and Humanity. He passed the throne onto his son, establishing the Resu’Garet Dynasty, and later retired from public view. {Rule : 6,659 B.C. to 35 A.D.}
