Introduction:

Hello citizens of The Free Nations Region!

I'm My Nation, your current Minister of Immigration. I'll be seeking re-election to this position in the upcoming Ministerial elections. I've put together this dispatch to highlight what my plans will be if I'm re-elected, as well as a few of my most relevant qualifications for the position. These are detailed in the following sections.

Thank you for taking the time to read this dispatch and for potentially considering voting for me in this election!

- My Nation

Qualifications:

This section contains a few of my most relevant qualifications for the position of Minister of Immigration.

Qualification

Year(s)

Relevance

Active resident and citizen of FNR for over three years

2018–present

I'm very dedicated to this region and I'm familiar with the wants and needs of its community.

Author of FNR's current official recruitment and welcome telegrams

2021

I have the ability to write persuasively and informatively to encourage nations to join our region and provide them with the information they'll need during their stay here.

Creator of FNR's Manual Recruitment Leaderboard and Hall of Fame

2021

This leaderboard sparks activity in the Ministry of Immigration by encouraging citizens to compete with each other to send out the most manual recruitment telegrams per month.

Winner of FNR's August 2020 Recruitment Championship

2020

I am experienced with and efficient at sending out recruitment telegrams for our region.

Current Minister of Immigration of FNR

2021–present

I have prior experience holding the position which I am seeking re-election for in the upcoming Ministerial elections.

Former President of FNR

2019 & 2021

In this position, I developed my NationStates leadership skills by working closely with my Ministers; these skills can also be applied when working with the staff members of the Ministry of Immigration.

Former Vice President of FNR

2020–2021

In this position, it was my duty to assist the President and Ministers wherever necessary, allowing me to gain more experience with each of the Ministries, including Immigration.

Former Speaker of FNR

2019–2020

In this position, I developed the consistency and activity needed to hold a position in regional government due to the many legislature debates and votes that I was required to organize.

Plans:

This section contains my major plans for the Ministry of Immigration if I'm re-elected as its Minister. I've divided my plans into two subsections: Recruitment and Retention. These are a bit of a wall of text — for a quicker read, please take a look at the bullet points.

Recruitment

"Recruitment" refers to the process of sending out specially-marked telegrams inviting nations to join our region. The Ministry of Immigration did very well in this area during the April–July 2021 term, therefore my goals for recruitment for the coming term will be largely a continuation of my goals from the previous term. These are as follows:

  • sending out 120 recruitment telegrams every day, for a total of 10,800 telegrams sent by the end of the term

  • frequently contacting the Ministry's hired Recruiters with friendly reminders to continue recruiting

  • updating FNR's Manual Recruitment Leaderboard and Hall of Fame monthly to encourage citizens to recruit

On top of these, I also intend to accomplish the following goals:

  • posting new and improved RMB advertisements tailored to FNR's job listings dispatch to invite citizens to become hired Recruiters

  • hosting a recruitment championship with fun prizes for the winner to encourage citizens to recruit*

*This goal will only be accomplished if it is appropriate to do so, that is, if there is a sufficient amount of nations in FNR's Discord bot's recruitment pool to warrant holding such a championship.

Retention

"Retention" refers to ensuring that newly-recruited nations decide to remain in FNR long-term. Following last term's success in the area of recruitment, I believe that it is especially important this coming term to place a large focus on the area of retention. My goals for retention can be seen below:

  • laying out formal job guidelines for RMB Greeters to better prepare them to introduce new recruits to the region in a kind and helpful way

  • posting new and improved RMB advertisements tailored to FNR's job listings dispatch to invite citizens to become hired RMB Greeters, similar to (or in conjunction with) the advertisements mentioned in the Recruitment subsection

  • if applicable: continuing to update FNR's welcome telegram with any relevant information

Summary

Please keep in mind that all of these goals will be pursued in addition to the goals of our current President, Doctors Orvos. I look forward to working closely with Doctors Orvos over the course of this term if I'm re-elected as your Minister of Immigration. I believe that this term has the potential to continue the precedent of activity and productivity in this Ministry, so please consider voting for me!

Chaiyarach for Ministry of Foreign Affairs
July 2021 Election

Introduction

Hi, I'm Chaiyarach. I came to FNR for Role Play in Free Nation Realm. I like to create factbook, article, worldbuilding, flag and map. This make me feel like I become one of them, Imagine about historical even with some epic or dramatic soundtrack. by the way, This is my first time to join candidate election for Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The thing I focusing on
  • Completing ambassador list and make it official. Due to Spardan's retirement, I read some of his chat logs in main discord server. There's picture of ambassador list between FNR and particular region. To be clear and not being confused, I wich to make ambassador list dispath for easier embassy management

  • Maintaining on diplomacy under the rule and constitution of FNR. After I use most of my time on learning about any FNR dispatches, I found one of them are so called " Active Treaties ". It's seem I have nothing to do with that by now. so, I will keep it as they are until the government have something to do with it.

  • Greeting and talk with Foriegn region people. General talking with people in different region either RMBs and Discord servers, share general information each other. Especially, Art or digital art, comic, manga or webtoon, the best one is artstyle. If people out there are artist or comic artist, you can also talk with me

Please approve this dispatch and vote me for Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Election on 22th July 2021

Minister of Defense:
The Python II:

The campaign dispatch can be found here:

Hello! I am The Python II, but I'm more often known as simply Python. I am standing for reelection as Minister of Defense, and this is my campaign and why you should vote for me!

This past term TL;DR
I'll be honest, my previous term was not completely as successful as I had hoped. However, we did accomplish many things, such as:
  • Getting FNDA-specific laws passed. We passed 2 successful laws, and one amendment, which specified rankings, and a Code of Conduct (which specified operational parameters, military crimes and the promised ban on griefing)

  • Getting a certificate system for agents when they participate in important operations; Certificates were successfully awarded in the (unsuccessful) fash bash of Confederate Army and the Defender olympics.

  • In terms of recruitment, didn't go as well as planned, but the FNDA recruitment telegram planned to be sent to new nations, has been started (albeit late, unfortunately), through FNR Minister of Defense.

  • In activity, we participated in many major operations, such as the Genua fash bash, Confederate Army raid, 2021 Defender olympics, and helping in the UDS Delegate transition.

Goals for this term
This term, if elected, my goals are relatively simple. They are to:
  • Continue FNDA Recruitment even more, throughout the term (this is pretty self-explanatory). As it has (since recently) been running, recruitment tg's are sent to newly founded nations just like usual regional recruitment.

  • If FNDA/RTF grows enough, we aren't stuck in delegacy transitions, and there actually is stuff to do (🙃), run off-update piler detags. Lots of militaries such as the SPSF and TGW, have something similar, and if possible would help build military activity in the long-term. This would also increase gameside participation, which leads into the next point.

  • Build gameside participation. Right now, to join active FNDA it is required to join the forums and Discord. One important thing which I intend to do is to allow RTF agents to operate purely on-site, without the need for signing up on Discord/Forums. In theory, this would allow for more accessibility for those not willing to sign up off-site, which overall would also be beneficial for recruitment.

My gameplay alignment
I generally consider myself to be a moralist defender. (Also a filthy cosmopolitan)
Experience
Obviously, I am the outgoing Minister of Defense of FNR, and have participated in about 100 update operations. Outside of R/D, I am a government member/RO/overlord/whatever of Chicken Overlords, Deputy Speaker of Lazarus, WA Author and a bunch of other stuff.
Conclusion
This is a serious campaign for Minister of Defense, and I would love your vote! If you have any questions, feel free to DM me on Discord [Python#1162], telegram me or email me Linkhere.

If elected this term, I will NOT be standing for a third reelection. This is not a guarantee I won't stand for a different government position

Minister of Culture:
People of Nolan (Running mate: Obets):

The campaign dispatches can be found here:

Link

Hello, my fellow citizens! It is I, People of Nolan, and you're thinking, OH GOD NOT AGAIN.
Yes, I am doing it again. I am running a campaign not even days after the presidential election. But I have good reason to, I was going to be the running mate for Obets, but due to personal matters with him, I will take his place and running for Minister of Culture.
And it's ok, I'll do a good job.

So what exactly will we do?

Here is what Obets planned on doing if elected, which I stole and will be the basis of my campaign:

It's All Fun And Games, and Nobody Gets Hurt!

At least, hopefully nobody gets hurt. If elected we plan on doing these to enrich the community in the Free Nations Region:

  • Continuing the daily questions that had originally sparked in the RMB and are now in the discord, including expanding it so that other people have the jobs of asking questions

  • Continuing the regional contests by holding at least one every one or two months, and introducing Flag Contests along with the dispatch and meme contests.

  • Holding more frequent gaming sessions such as the popular Gartic telephone, and we will start to play AtWar too.

  • Holding trivia contests to coincide with the trivia nights that I introduced this last term.

  • Creating resources for dispatch making so that people would be able to make quality dispatches, learn from experts in the region, and share dispatches with others in a designated channel on discord.

And probably most importantly, we want to strive to use these ideas coming from me, Nolan, and all of you and use them to create a fun and welcoming region.

We'll Need Competence and Consistency

Being the Minister of Culture, or frankly any minister in general, requires certain levels of activity that need to me maintained in order to satisfy the people. Therefore, if Minister of Culture, we plan to expand the position of the Cultural Calendar managers to the position of Cultural Administration. If you were to have the job Cultural Administration that means it would be your duty to make sure that the cultural ministry is active, doing it's job, and making sure that we are following the event calendar. We're doing this to ensure that we will stay active and keep all of you happy, sort of like a micro-version of the former Regional Administration position.

Activity and Engagement is a Must

Of course, for all of this to take place and work, the region must be active, and each position must be engaging. And the region is already active, but it could be activer. We believe that not only is it the Culture Ministry's role to plan events, but also it is their role to keep the community active and engaging. Therefore, if the head of the Culture ministry, we would like to advertise the discord server, government positions, and so forth. Perhaps most importantly however, is that we would like to reach out to citizens and residents giving them the chances to plan events, carry out events, and more involving helping with events. We want to give everyone an opportunity to do what they want to do with the region.

Interregional Cooperation Anyone?

Along with this smorgasbord of stuff, the final thing we plan on doing is that hopefully we'd be able to hold meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs in order to maybe plan more interregional events with regions like the South Pacific, the East Pacific, Thaecia, Wintercrest, all of those good guys.

Why Should Nolan Be MOC?
I have become more active in the region, especially on Discord, as there hasn't been a day so far that I haven't checked in on our fun region!
I also have many ideas for how to keep our region active and fun.
I've had mistakes during my campaigns, but I swear, this is the magic one, this is the one where I don't screw up(I'm not guaranteeing a win, though).
And one last question:
Who's Gonna Be Your Running Mate?
I don't know, my main candidates are Obets or Duckbill. It just depends on who answers first.
So, TLDR, Vote Nolan because I will continue Obets' great ideas, along with my own.
Thank you for reading! My name is People of Nolan and I approve this message.

NOLAN FOR CULTURE
Guys, It's his fourth campaign, he has to win eventually.

Hello, lovely citizens of the FNR, it's your Minister of Culture Obets. It has been such a pleasure and joy to have been elected by you and serve for these months as Minister of Culture. Now, I'm ready for a second term. I've learned a lot over the past three months and now I'd like to use that to make an even better, stronger, and more welcoming Free Nations Region. I have so many more ideas, and I've got People of Nolan along with me, because he's got some ideas too. So vote Anarchy this July!

So what exactly will we do?

Here is what me and Nolan plan on doing if elected, from fun events to competence and consistency to active regional engagement:

It's All Fun And Games, and Nobody Gets Hurt!

At least, hopefully nobody gets hurt. If elected we plan on doing these to enrich the community in the Free Nations Region:

  • Continuing the daily questions that had originally sparked in the RMB and are now in the discord, including expanding it so that other people have the jobs of asking questions

And probably most importantly, we want to strive to use these ideas coming from me, Nolan, and all of you and use them to create a fun and welcoming region.

We'll Need Competence and Consistency

Overall, at least I, feel like I've been a pretty active minister. However I'm not completely satisfied. I have gone through spasms of inactivity.

Ok, But why us, Obets and Nolan, Exactly?

Aren't there some other nut jobs out there besides us who could do a good job?

Well the thing is, me, Obets, is a nut job with experience. I already have served for 3 months doing in the Minister of Culture Position, where I changed the region a lot. I added dailies, trivia, sandbox roleplay, and, to quote the founder and former president Heaveria, "[has] been a fine minister. Everyone is grateful for the fun times you gave them and so am I! Haven’t had such an active culture minister in a long time."

Another thing is that both me and People of Nolan are very active nut jobs. We're available on the discord server every day, and about all day too. Well, we like to sleep a lot so lets say every day for 62.5% of the day. Anyways we are quite active.

So do it, for for the candidates with activity and experience!

As you can see, both me and Nolan have tons of ideas that we would like to bring to the table, in order to strive to make the FNR even more active, even more engaging, even more fun, even more welcoming, all of the things that make the FNR great. But before we go, we just want to say one more thing. Nolan and I are both firm believers in democracy. And the only way that we can have the FNR's direct democracy work to the fullest extent of the people is if you VOTE! Get out there and spread your voice on July 22! Dew it! Vote!

And while you're at it, why not vote for Obets and Nolan? You'd be voting for the candidates with ideas, activity and experience, so why not? Vote anarchy! And don't worry, we'll do a good job.

*patriotic music ends*

Roleplay Delegate:
Sarayevka:

The campaign dispatch can be found here:

Hello all!

After some consideration, I have decided to throw my hat into the ring for the position of the RP delegate this time around (My vice delegate being the Europan Union). My plans for what I would do in the position are not very grandiose, as I mostly wish to keep the good system Orvos has fostered running, along with a few additions:

1. My largest idea for the main RP is a system of petitions, where RPers can pitch ideas to each other, and if they get enough votes from the community I would submit the idea to be voted upon by the RP mods to make necessary amendments and changes.

2. The other large idea I have is for the Napoleonic RP, which I am working with Orvos to see come to life, is the creation of new continents specifically for the Napoleonic RP which would solely exist for the purpose of players to colonize.

3. Aside from that, my main campaign goal is really to just keep the RP running. Orvos has made a good system with a great community, and with him leaving my main goal is to preserve that. I am already an RP mod & military advisor so I have plenty enough experience doing so.

4. Over time I would like to appoint new RP mods and military advisors, but only after seeing their capabilities and discussing it with the rest of the mod council.

Also, one last thing, Orvos himself has endorsed my campaign!

Thank you for the time out of your day to read my dispatch, I hope you have an excellent day.

Happy RPing, everyone!

Northern Celtic Regions:

The campaign dispatch will be posted here as soon as it is released.

Pahlavishan:

The campaign dispatch can be found here:

Alright. So I'm running for the roleplay delegate position in the Free Nations Region. There's three of us, so you might be wondering: "Why would I vote for you instead of someone else?"

That's a good question. You have your own free will. But I have a plan. A great plan. It's the biggest and most beautiful plan you've ever seen.

(If you read that last part in the voice of Donald Trump, good job you get a free cookie)

So what is my plan you ask? Well random internet person I'll tell you!

1. I'll appoint new military advisers to make the process of approving new military factbooks smoother and easier. This is especially important since Valid will be less active and to avoid overwhelming Sarayveka (who is one of my opponents). These advisors will be interviewed by me and will be selected if they have good knowledge of modern military tactics, technology and in history amongst other criteria.

2. We'll make new players entering the roleplay easier with a mentoring program. This will be where experienced Roleplayers will assist new Roleplayers in building their nations, making sure they know the proper rules and what type of conduct is appropriate

3. The roleplay will be getting more detailed in its required information. The goal is to make the rp as in depth as possible! This information will include: religions, suffrage, legal systems, how many regions, or provinces and other information that will be decided later.

4. Suggestion area so that any roleplayer can make suggestions to improve the overall world we have created. Despite Pahlavishan being authoritarian, I intend on making the roleplay governance as democratic as possible!

5. Roleplay nations conference: This would be Diyar/FNR’s version of the United Nations. Every other week or so (time slot undetermined would be decided later). This is where your suggestions and requests, issues or conflicts can be sorted out with the mods, and with other nations publicly. This is where you can see your ideas get implemented and or rejected and by what grounds.

6. FNR Roleplay Court of Justice: Appointing 2-3 judges, any OOC issues in the roleplay are to be brought to these judges to avoid unnecessary conflict! We need to be friends guys, we can’t just fight and debate and argue out of character! Penalties would be decided here ( OOC suspension, IC sanctions, or at the very extreme, bans) We need to ensure judicial fairness in our system and that everyone’s story is heard.

7. I also want to start reintroducing the FNR RP story that has been dead for months now! As a writer, I really want to see that take off!

8. Of course, overall, making the roleplay even better than it is now!

Under the oversight of our predecessor, Orvos, who I would like to call a friend, I know that trying to be better than him would be an extremely difficult, and challenging task to accomplish. He has made this roleplay so great and I want that reputation to continue to soar high above the clouds like the eagles!

You may all think I am not experienced enough, as I’m pretty new to the roleplay (2 months as of next week) but I can assure you that if you elect me I know my duty.

In real life, I have been in student government, I have been elected to positions of power before, so I do have experience!

Also, some of my opponents are not exactly reliable! Dongerland is sometimes not online for days at a time! I can guarantee that, and this can be proven by various other roleplayers, that I will be online a few times per day! Do you really want a delegate who isn’t even online for days at a time!?

Russia, I can’t really bash him or knock him down. He’s a decent guy, but I don’t think he has the heart in the game to win. He himself stated openly that he doesn’t feel popular enough or confident enough.

I know how to lead people and make changes and promises become reality! If you vote for me you can expect big changes over the next or so months!

Thank you for reading this!

Dongerland:

The campaign dispatch can be found here:

Hi there! I'm Dongerland but you may know me as The Carthage Guy. The following contents of this dispatch is why I think that you should vote for me as RP Delegate of the FNR!

Past experience
I've been in the FNR for nearly a year now and I have been on NS itself since the beginning of 2019. If you've been following the RP to any extent, it's quite noticeable that I am passionate about the RP and take pride in what I do. I'd say that I am one of the most active members of the RP, whether that be playing as Dongerland or as my puppet nation Al-Azimuth. As a result, I have a lot of experience with the RP and how it works and NS in general.

Why I am running

I love the atmosphere of the RP and the FNR in general. However, I think that there are a lot of improvements that can be made to the RP and how it functions. I could implement these improvements if I get elected for RP delegate, thus that is why I am running. I feel like Doctors Orvos has done a fantastic job at managing the RP and has left the RP in a great state at the moment.

My Goals
I have a few goals in mind for my term if I get elected:
  • Revamp the annexation system so that it is more organised and makes more sense relative to RL annexation as well as making much needed balance changes to the system.

  • Create a historical timeline of all major events that have happened in the RP, so that the historical system is more organised.

  • Give more RP members opportunities to apply their artistic skills for the benefit of the RP(story writing, cartography, photoshopping)

  • Implementing worldwide impacting events that incorporates the involvement of the whole RP(Football leagues, Olympic games, other sporting events, Eurovision type events etc.)

  • Expanding the secondary RP(Napoleonic RP) and possibly opening new ones. This can be very good for actively developing the lore of our universe.

Let me elaborate.

Revamp the annexation system
Over the past few weeks, it has come to the attention of myself and many other members of the RP that numerous players have grown very unhappy with the system of annexation in the FN RP. I myself have also noticed that certain players have enlargened their nation size rather exceedingly via annexation. As a result, there needs to be a revamp of the annexation system that is more organised; so that there will not be any large power disparities between our RP members.

Create a Historical Timeline
Unfortunately, events of historical notability have not been kept track of or organised into any form. However, if I were to be elected; I will create a detailed and definitive timeline of these events. Thing is, there has already been something like this that I created earlier; the Diyar World Timeline. That timeline was a WIP and more of a test to see what framework would work best for an application such as a world timeline. If I receive further support from the members of the FNR, I may integrate the following into the RP:

  • A timeline of the world map of Diyar, which will comprehensively illustrate all the territorial formations and changes of the different RP nations over time.

  • Creating a map of the different migration routes from the origin of humanity to the current location of all humans.

  • Maps of different ethnic and religious groups and where they live specifically. Ethnic minorities will also be shown so the map is sufficiently comprehensive.

Giving RP Members More Opportunities
Since the start of the RP in November of 2020, I have always felt that only people in moderation roles have been able to "prove their worth" in terms of showing how their skills can benefit the RP. As a result, I will implement the following if elected:

  • Giving more members roles that already exist like RP Historian/RP Military Advisor and creating new roles like maybe RP Economist/RP Diplomat.

  • These roles will all target certain areas of the RP like diplomacy, war and conflict and the economy.

  • Perhaps starting an FNR RP News Issue or something where world news is presented to the whole of Diyar on a weekly basis.

    Expanding the secondary RP
My plans regarding the Napoleonic RP are the most "experimental" if you will. I want to allow the Secondary RP to have a larger impact on the current day RP because world events and discoveries have such impacts in RL. This will also be effective for developing lore soon after and in the far future after the Napoleonic Era. It is also of large importance to expand the amount of people who take part in the Secondary RP's as the lore from the past has a big effect on the lore of today. As a result, I may implement expansions to the modern day smaller landmasses on the map so that they can have more of an effect on the international stage in the modern day and in the Napoleonic Era considering that it was an era of massive world expansion and colonialism. Because of this, new nations will be more likely to want to pick such islands which will allow more members of the RP to come in and thus the Napoleonic RP as well.

Deputy
If any of you were wondering, yes I do have a deputy. My deputy is Sarayevka who I personally think is a fantastic person and RP member as well as a fellow RPD candidate.
Conclusion
This is a very serious campaign for RP Delegate. I truly hope that my goals and justification have convinced you to vote for me. I would love to have your vote!

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to telegram me, or DM me on Discord [bez#9099]!
