Charter Of The RIA

Charter Of
The Revolutionary Insurrectionary Army

Mission Statement

"To fight ceaselessly against all fascist, capitalist, totalitarian, authoritarian regions, and all who cooperate with them; And to defend all anarchist, left-wing, left-libertarian, communist, and socialist regions from invading forces."

Governing Structure of the RIA

The Commander of the Revolutionary Insurrectionary Army (henceforth referred to as the RIA) shall be elected by popular vote. All votes shall last forty-eight hours from the time they are called. The Commander will be tasked with organizing and directing RIA forces during raids, as well as managing occupied regions.

An election for Commander may be undertaken at any time, upon the announcement of any signatory member’s intention to stand for the position. The only exception to this clause being during an active operation, in which case, the election may be held as soon as said operation has been completed.

RIA Ideology

The RIA is a force dedicated to libertarian and socialist principles. Our army fights against all forces of fascism, capitalism, reactionism, and authoritarianism. Although most left-libertarian ideologies are anarchist in nature, libertarian socialists (such as De Leonists, Left Communists, Council Communists, Communalists, etc.), and individualist anarchists (Stirnerites, etc.) are also welcome. “Anarcho”-capitalists, National “Anarchists,” and the rest of their ilk, are not.

The three ideological pillars of the RIA are as follows: Anti-Capitalism, Anti-Fascism, and Anti-Authoritarianism. These three positions are the founding principles of our organization and are non-negotiable. We also hold anti-racism, anti-sexism, anti-transphobia, and anti-homophobia, among others, as stances at the core of our anti-authoritarian, socialist struggle against all coercive and oppressive hierarchies we continually strive to liberate ourselves from.

Nation Rights

A nation may only be considered a full member of the RIA upon their confirmed signing of this Regional Charter. By doing so, they are granted the right to vote, be elected to office, and participate in military operations as an official regular soldier.

Non-signatory nations' votes will not be counted in a referendum and they cannot be elected to an office. They may only serve in military operations as an irregular soldier or foreign volunteer.

Embassy Policy

All regions protected or liberated by the RIA are required to establish an embassy with the RIA headquarters region.

Foreign Policy

Declarations of War must be passed by referendum and approved by the RIA Commander.
Interregional alliances must be approved by referendum and cannot conflict with the three pillars of the region.
