The New United Nations
Established 37XX, the New United Nations is established as an organ for peace and prosperity among nations.
Not a member of another faction (though leaving a faction and joining the NUN is accepted).
Friendly relations with the ORV.
Willing to accept the values of the NUN and enforce them as much as possible.
Independent, or an associated state of a member.
Not at war with a member of the organisation.
A nation may also become an observer, which only requires approval from the FUV.
Principles of the NUN:
• MUTUAL DEFENCE
Should an outside nation invade a fellow member, it is the duty of all members, regardless of pacts or treaties, intervene.
• MUTUAL ACCESS
Should a nation require to transport military or civilian equipment through a fellow nation, they may.
• FREEDOM TO LEAVE
Should the alliance be at peace, and not at war or preparing, leaving the alliance is permitted.
• RESOURCE SHARING
Each nation is expected to (though not required to) trade within the alliance. Should a nation suffer a severe disaster, all members are expected to send aid and help.
Member nations are expected to remain at peace with their fellow member nations.
• NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY
Each nation is an element of the whole, however each nation is expected to acknowledge the sovereignty between member nations. This includes resolving border debates, maintaining border checkpoints, and refusing dissident fugitives from member states.
The following nations are invited to the NUN:
