Interview with Roavin

By Rabbitz

Explain how your idea for improving ambassadorship will better present TSP on the NS stage.

As it specifically regards that point, It's a feedback loop: Ambassadors being more engaged leads to better sourcing for TSP, which in turn informs ambassadors better, which in turn means they can do their job better; furthermore, engaged ambassadors take the fear of reaching out to them and asking them about our great region!

If regions that dont politically align with us, such as raider and Independent, defamed and called out TSP for their own reasons, how should TSP respond back in a way that will minimize the diminishment of preexisting relations with other raider and Independent regions?

That depends on the specific scenario, but my general policy here has always been: Make sure that our point is known, falsehoods are corrected, and otherwise, the old adage ""sticks and stones may break my bones, but words shall never hurt me"" applies.

How will the roles of Secretary of State be implemented in your new idea for ambassadorship (i.e will they micromanage them; will they teach/guide them will you're away?)?

It's not necessarily micromanaging, it's just being part of a team together with me to make sure ambassadors can do their best. Some of that may seem like micromanagement in part (i.e. tracking foreign information sourcing), but for the most part, the idea is to have an environment for collectively learning and improving.

Do you believe that TSP should reach out to regions such as Osiris, of which current relations have been improving, or do you think that this will jeopardize our relations with current, firmly-defendant regions? Elaborate on your answer.

I don't want to say one way or another on any specifics, but principally, being defender does not lock us out of interacting with, or having relations with in some way, with other regions. Most of our defender allies feel the same way, and for those that don't, we entered into relations with them with the express understanding that we do have non-defender relations, so I don't see an issue there.

What safety policies do you have to prevent protentional burnout in both the Minister, the SoS, and the Ambassadors, and what policies do you have to minimize the effects of burnout after they have happened?

There are no specific policies for that, but things are conceived with that in mind. There's no expectation that ambassadors have to provide updates about their region within 5 minutes of it being posted or anything of that sort, rather a more easy going process. Once the wiki pages for the foreign regions are prepared, things will get easier for ambassadors, as at that point it's mostly ""maintenance"" and they rarely have to hunt for information.
