The Ministry of Justice is entrusted with upholding regional rules and principles. This includes assisting member nations in meeting residency requirements, submitting recommendations for disciplinary actions against rules-violating members, and investigating rules violations on request.

Residency requirements:
We aren't too strict around these parts on what you can do with your nation, that said don't be a fascist, a reactionary, a bigot, etc. or incorporate any such elements into your nation. For more details, you can have a look at our Charter.
Charter Violations and Bannable Offenses:
It’s important to familiarize yourself with our regional rules such that you don’t find yourself at the end of an expulsion recommendation. Violations of the rules of our charter, the Nationstates Terms of Service, Discord Terms of Service (when relevant), and United States Law are all under the purview of the Ministry. I won’t list all of the offenses here, but here are some serious infractions which have come up recently:
Having more than one Member of Congress nation
Willfully bringing harm upon the DSA
Repeated instances of hateful, exclusionary speech
Inciting uncharitable, uncivil arguments
Sexual harassment
Promotion of fascist, racist, bigoted, reactionary, far-right, totalitarian or otherwise offensive views, apologia or imagery.
♦ Department of Regional Security
The Department of Regional Security was established with a cabinet vote during the 36th cabinet, and was firstly introduced as a cabinet aide position (Office of Regional Security) during the 35th cabinet by the Minister of Justice, Liossalde, under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice.
The main operational responsibility of this department is to overlook the residents of the region in their way of meeting the Terms of Residency and hence be in agreement with the regional core values and law, as they are expressed by our Charter.
Equally, the Director is obligated to report any violations of the Charter to the Minister of Justice, especially those who are defined as Extraordinary Misconduct and hence they are under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice, for further investigation.
