WACHOVIA | River-class FSS
The River-class of fleet support ships are a family of multi-purpose vessels designed to support a multitude of operations undertaken by the Maritime Defense Force. The ships of this class are built with modularity in mind, to support Command/Control facilities abroad, carry and land amphibious assault forces, conduct replenishment operations, and provide overseas humanitarian aid. The ships may also act as both aircraft transport and an operational aircraft carrier, with facilities to support both fixed wing V/STOL and Rotor aircraft.
