Early Life

Lana Scarlet was born in June 8 1990, in Rosa-Bucoviche, Romaniche. She was born into a middle-class family and had a brother, Nicolae Aurel. Her father was an ambitious man who wanted his children to be the best and her mother loved her family more than herself. In school, she was a bright mind and easily entered the Caesario High School in Singapore. Sadly, in 2006, her brother was killed in the '100 men raid', which made her grades fall but recovered just in time to go into Aristotel University, one of the most prestigious universities in the whole Romaniche.

Rise in Politics

Since she was a teenager, she always admired the presidents of Romaniche and their good service given to the country, so she wanted to become a president too, that was her dream and it will come true. At the age of 22, she was an ambassador of Draconovox but quickly rose as the Second-in-Command of the country. When she together with Abaddon chose to abandon their position, they fled together in Romaniche. One year later, she founded, the Romanichean United Front and got elected as President two years later.

Leadership

Once Lana got President, sweeping reforms changed Romaniche although some critics say that she only continued the reforms of Mihail and Constantin. At the beginning of her presidency, she was very popular and that popularity only grew. In 2016, she introduced the Gender Equality Act who increased employment among women and brought more into key governmental positions. In 2018, she introduced coalitions and other civil rights, with the climax of her carrier being in 2019 when she transitioned Romaniche from a representative to direct democracy, increasing the power of the people in politics. However, her popularity will take a huge hit when at the end of 2019, she introduced the campaigns for Pan-Asianism and National Pacification. When China declared war on us, many people felt betrayed and in a few weeks, Lana was forced to flee back to Draconovox.

Policies

• The Gender Equality Act (2016)
  The Gender Equality Act was introduced in 2016 which equalized and eased requirements for women to be employed. Also, the wages were increased in order to decrease the gender wage gap, more civil rights were given. This Act increased employment among women and the families had a higher income, which reduced poverty among the lower-class population. Nationalists and Traditionalists protested for a while with the slogan "Women belong to the kitchen, not at work!"

• Minorities Right and Integration Act
  This act proposed closer integration of the minorities into Romaniche, but also an increase of civil rights and cultural protection, creating a more multi-cultural country. The Act proposed more rights to the minorities and eased the requirements of becoming official Romanichean citizens. Nationalities such as Indonesians and Russians were considered, native minorities and were often subjected to assimilation, but this Act turned this from forced assimilation into co-existence. The Far-Right opposed this Act, saying that this is an intrusion of the Romanichean identity.

• The Transition from a Representative towards Direct Democracy
  The Romanichean State decided that in order for a truer democracy to be in place, the State with the vote of the people and support of the Parliament and Senate pushed forwards this change. After a while, Romaniche has officially declared a Direct Democracy. bringing more power to the people in their country's politics. A new Consitution was written, Laws were changed and some Institutions got into the hands of the people, making Romaniche be governed by both People and the State.
