The Empire of Scherzinger is a medium sized nation with a robust population and rich culture. The nation is located in Cnetral Europe. Scherzinger is bordered by the North Italian Union to the West, Ventus Prime to the northwest, Sorlivia to the Northeast, Linkopingist Barius to the east, and Ryanius to the south.

Elections: Scherzinger never has and likely never will have elections at the national level. Erwin III has granted provincial elections, however, turnout is low, as people value & support their traditions including their beloved Monarchy.

Free Speech/Assembly: Scherzinger does allow, promote, and encourage freedom of speech and assembly. Erwin I wrote the free speech law and Erwin III included freedom of assembly.

Free Religion: No Emperor in Scherzinger's history has supported, believed in, or followde a religion. Regardless, Erwin III signed into law the freedom to express religion in Scherzinger.

Homosexuality/Gay Marriage: Homosexuality hae been a topic of fierce debate in Scherzinger. Erwin III signed into law the freedom for people of homosexual identity to marry, and hold the same rights as citizens who are not.

'transgender': Each Emperor, including Erwin III do not support, promote, or recognize those who suffer from gender dysphoria. In the Scherzinger Department of Health, it is listed as a mental disorder.

Healthcare: Scherzinger runs an incredibly small healthcare system. Instead, the duties of healthcare are left to private insurance companies who must meet a stict set of qualifying guidelines to license their services to others.

Political Parties: Scherzinger allows its populace to form and align with political parties. Erwin I had the Monarchist Party, which both Erwin II and Erwin III somewhat align with (though Erwin III considers himself slightly more unaligned).

Guns/Firearms: The populace are allowed to own firearms and have the right to use them to defend themselves from threats. That said, the populace may not purchase heavy ordnance such as explosives, rockets, tanks, etc. Automatic weapons are regulated to licensed carriers and sellers.

Judiciary: Judges are appointed by Erwin and /or Momo, who then preside over cases. Every citizen has the right to a fair trial should they be accused of a crime. They have the right to lawyers/attorneys to assist in their case where a judge will make the verdict. Every citizen is innocent until proven otherwise.

Death Penalty: Scherzinger has always had and supported the death penalty for crimes of extreme gravity. Such cases include murder, serial murder, rape, treason etc.

Age of Majority: The age of majority has fluctuate in the Empire. Erwin I established 16, then Erwin II changed it to 21, and Erwin III put it at 18.

Drugs: The use, possession, sale, and trafficking of drugs including but not limited to marijuana, cocaine, crack, amphetamines, opitates and other drugs not perscribed by a doctor are illegal in Scherzinger. Ranging from fines to jail time depending on the strength and amount of the drug.

Smoking/Drinking: The only restriction on cigarettes and alcohol is that the person must reach the age of majority to partake in it, and must be 18 and licensed to sell them.

Abortion: Scherzinger's laws state that a woman may only abort a baby in cases of rape and incest.

Slavery: Slavery has and always will be illegal in Scherzinger
