You have a right to participate in Selene as long as you abide by the NationStates Terms & Conditions of Use, Corpus Juris and other regional laws. You may be penalised for violation these rules. The founder has plenary power over the region, but he and any regional officials will only exercise their authority within reason and to the benefit of the region. These terms may be revised at any time and it is your responsibility to stay up-to-date with them.

These terms and conditions outline the basic rules to which all members are bound. By joining the region you are assumed to have accepted these terms and conditions as they apply to you.

1. Selene is a user-created region with an executive founder (hereafter the "founder"). You acknowledge that the founder has plenary powers over the region and that any rights or privileges granted to you are conditional to the founder's decisions. In turn, the founder and all duly appointed regional officials agree to use their power within reason and only to the benefit of the region.

2. You have a right to submit content and freely participate in roleplay and conversations with all members of the region. In submitting content, you grant Selene and its officials license to reproduce said content for official and record-keeping purposes (i.e. keeping public records of Global Information Survey entries).

3. Selene is bound by the NationStates Terms & Conditions of Use and will not accept any behaviour or content that is obscene, illegal, threatening, malicious, or defamatory, that invades the privacy or infringes the intellectual property of a third party, or that constitutes "spam".

4. You agree that you may be subject by penalties up to permanent banishment from the region and all its offsite venues in the event that you are found in breach of the NationStates Terms & Conditions of Use or, when applicable, Corpus Juris and other regional laws.

5. You acknowledge that these terms and conditions may be revised at any time without prior notice to you or consent on your part and that it is your responsibility to stay up-to-date with them.
