Electoral Conduct Amendment (Mass Campaigning)

The amendment seeks to cement the Supreme Court ruling on mass telegrams and to expand the same limitations to mass dispatches.

[list=1][*]Platforms utilised by a significant proportion of the region for communication purposes, including, but not limited to, NationStates and the regional Discord server, shall henceforth be known as regional platforms
[*]Individuals may not utilise any official powers they have on regional platforms to:
[list=a][*]Campaign for themselves or another candidate during an election with intent
[*]Campaign for or against a constitutional amendment up for discussion or referendum with intent
[*]Knowingly and purposely damage, or attempt to damage, any candidate's campaign as their sole intent[/list]
[*]A member of the election committee may not:
[list=a][*]Be a candidate running in the relevant election, unless absolutely necessary as dictated by the Constitution
[*]Share the details of the election results to any individual not part of the committee until after the relevant voting period has ended
[*]Reveal the vote of any individual at any time during or after the relevant voting period
[*]Use their position in the electoral committee, or knowledge of any private or classified information gained from serving in the said position, for malicious intent
[*]Intentionally misrepresent the true outcome of an election
[*]Maliciously tamper with votes[/list]
[*]An individual may not send a mass telegram to voters to campaign for or against any candidate during an election, or a constitutional amendment up for discussion or referendum
[*]Any violation(s) of these provisions shall be regarded as a criminal offence[/list][/box]
