    The SA-11 Paramerion is a multirole fighter which serves as the workhorse of primarily but not limited to the Synnian armed forces. As a sixth generation fighter, the SA-11 was the first officially adopted aircraft in a military force to utilize a nanite propulsion system (NaPS). This versatile and paradoxically robust new system would drastically reduce the amount of air required to achieve satisfactory propulsive force while also axing fuel requirements, working in tandem with ultralight construction to improve both maneuverability and range. Though earlier models of the Paramerion such as the A and C variants would house a miniturized nuclear fission reactor, later modernization programmes would replace it with a fusion core.

    The Paramerion's popularity and combat success stems mostly from its armament, or rather the sheer volume of it. As per Synnian fighter design standards, the SA-11's weapons load surpasses that of all foreign sixth-generation designs barring some American prototypes. Even without a full load of potentially 24 SSt Type Green munitions, the Paramerion is still able to deliver a reasonable amount of firepower through its two-by-two configuration of internal weapons stations though this may be exchanged for an externally-carried heavy centreline weapon such as an electromagnetic cannon or heavy anti-ship missile.

    Though no longer a cutting-edge aircraft at its core, the SA-11 still sees success in the international marketplace in the form of ludicrous Synnian arms deals. This is primarily owed to modern fabrication techniques and refinement of the assembly procedure dropping the cost of a single aircraft into the thousands mark, cheaper than some urban housing units. The Paramerion is most popular among second world countries and third-rate superpowers wishing to project regional power more effectively or simply modernize air forces of aging fourth-generation fighters. As of 2085 the SA-11 and its multinational variants have seen operation in over 50 countries.

    A cheaply constructed and reasonably robust aircraft, the SA-12 Estoc applies the design principles of the SA-11 into a more sturdy base frame suited for ground attack. Though not a direct variant of the Paramerion, the SA-12 shares the NaPS family, fusion core, and general shape of the multirole fighter giving it similar performance capabilities. Two key characteristics passed onto the Estoc are range and carrying capacity. Both aircraft are able to autonomously loiter over strategic airspace for months without refuelling while carrying a full load of munitions, acting as quick reponse craft able to perform attacks without the need to take off. The SA-12 is built with this goal in mind and thus trades off stealth geometries for sheer external carrying capacity, though dual internal weapons bays remain.

    While lighter attack craft may be sufficient in eliminating underarmed forces and light armor, the Estoc's fighter status makes it the perfect aircraft for not only wiping out armored targets but also flattening smaller urban centers and taking over bunker-busting duties. An array of electronic countermeasures protect the SA-12 from guided missiles while also assisting in stealth operations if need be. Though not designated one by the Synnian Armed Forces, pilot, foot soldier, and civilian alike have come to call the Estoc a fighter-bomber though, in reality, the aircraft serves as both an interdictor and attack craft, making it a strike fighter.

    The SVA-8 Xiphos is the definitive Synnian 'punishment' aircraft when it comes to operating against any force without a competent air defense network. Originally designed to serve as an ultralight transport by Harper Defense Solutions, the Xiphos uses the heavy lifting capabilities of the scrapped design to great extent to carry AGMs and guided bombs in the place of supplies. Where the XVA-8 prototype once had a vertical ramp, the SVA-8 stores a shifting array of explosives racks swapping in and out of place to launch munitions from an underbelly bay. In the SVA-8B variant this missile bay may be swapped out entirely for a protruding underbelly rotary cannon and the internal bay reserved for several thousand rounds of ammunition.

    As a ground attacker, the Xiphos excels at clearing out armored vehicles, bunkers, and even large stretches of urbanized areas with the right loadout. For all intents and purposes, the SVA-8 is a missile truck, though its design changes since its role as a transport craft have classified it as a fighter-bomber. The craft's sheer volume of firepower in tandem with ECM support and integrated IR-tracking countermeasures allow it to decimate enemy forces lacking in anti-air equipment, earning it an unprecedented kill ratio in low-intensity battle environments.

    Though largely unutilized in actual combat, the STOVL characteristics left over from the XVA-8 remain in the fighter-bomber variant, allowing the craft to operate from carriers if need be, though in very small numbers due to the craft's size. On several recorded occasions the Xiphos's LiftSystem has been utilized to pilot the craft in a helicopter-esque fashion during ground strikes. The SVA-8B variant also allowed for the installation of detachable floats, giving the Xiphos amphibious takeoff and landing capabilities, albeit with minimal loads.

    Designed by comittee, the SA-17 is the late result of Synnia's bid to take advantage of the BVR gap which appeared following the emergence of SCRAMBLE technologies in military settings. Though a relatively small and light aircraft, the SA-17's design is often criticized for its high cost, weighing in at over four times that of its air-to-air competitors such as the SA-11. Most of this cost can be attributed to the SA-17's unique airframe design which incorporates a mixture of several base ultralight materials and nano-weave layers to form a more durable composite while retaining the mass of ultralight materials. The Falchion's NaPSs have also been seen as money sinks in the aircraft's design.

    What the SA-17 lacks in ease of manufacture, it makes up for in BFM dominance. The Falchion is an aircraft designed to work in tandem with either surface SCRAMBLE support or a SCRAMBLE AEW&C craft, these platforms spotting enemy stealth craft at range for the Falchion, something it would remain unable to do until the introduction of lighter SCRAMBLE units. The combination of advanced propulsion units and extremely lightweight airframe construction can have the SA-17 reach speeds high enough that it is able to close the gap between BVR and WVR in under a minute. Being able to engage in conventional dogfights with late 5th generation and early 6th generation fighters is key in the Falchion's success as its maneuverability far surpasses that of contemporary stealth craft which have renounced BFM combat.

    Utilizing a mixture of variable-geometry control surfaces which would later be incorporated into the designs of the SA-19 and even the Silran CSF-74, the SA-17 represents the peak of 6th generation dogfighter engineering. The aforementioned control surfaces along with a quad inlet system give the Falchion omnidirectional, almost missile-like maneuvering capabilities, in some cases even being able to outturn WVR infrared-guided missiles such as the American Sidewinder series. To prevent extensive damage to the pilot's body, the fighter's g-dampening system extends farther than standard flight suit design. Instead of requiring an outside flight suit, the SA-17's "suit" takes the form of a control chamber integrated within the cockpit with the "suit" flush with the seat and control mechanisms. When situated inside the Falchion's flight seat, almost the entire body is encased in a nano-weave dampening material which automatically exerts counterforces during violent turning maneuvers. This integrated pilot 'cage' would pave the way for 7th generation Plug design.

    The SA-19 Katzbalger is the premier naval support fighter of the Synnian Maritime Self-Defense Force, hosting advanced targeting, tracking, anti-ship, and anti-submarine capabilities. The finalist and subsequent winner of the Fleet Defender Programme, the Katzbalger was chosen to fill the role of a single standardized support craft for Synnian carrier and cruiser strike groups. Boasting stealth and ECM capabilities, SA-19s are used by Synnian naval forces to scout enemy forces and in-air munitions alike, marking both for interception and/or destruction with a host of targeting suites.

    The Katzbalger is able to fulfill its role as a support craft as it is the first navalized fighter designed to utilize a SCRAMBLE suite. The superconductor phenomenon utilized in the system allows the SA-19 among many other aircraft to track and target through solid matter and thus over the horizon without being exposed to radar. Early operations involving Katzbalgers would use this to great effect in tandem with shipborne coilgun support. The fighter also hosts an array of more conventional sensors such as laser targeting pods and the dated yet still effective PIRATE infrared tracker.

    While the SA-19 is primarily a support fighter, due to the requirements of the Fleet Defender competition it was designed as a multirole craft with some degree of air to air combat in mind. For this reason, the Katzbalger hosts a 2x2 quad-inlet system to feed its powerful but inefficient F-NaPSs when maneuvering in most directions. The aircraft also incorporates design features taken from the Silran XSF-74 such as its variable-geometry dual tailplanes, allowing it to outmaneuver enemy fighters in conventional dogfights while maintaining BVR superiority through surface support.

    The SV-61 Colichemarde is a variable-geometry STOVL multirole fighter craft designed for air and ground superiority in zones without suitable infrastructure for standard air operations and out of effective carrier strike range. The Colichemarde utilizes a F-NaPS lift system designed by Haukner & Co. along with ultralight construction to achieve vertical takeoffs while still being able to carry a relatively heavy munitions load. Stealth capabilities combined with the ability to vertically take-off while carrying heavy ground-attack missiles and other anti-ground munitions make the SV-61 an excellent choice for SEAD operations.

    Every facet of the Colichemarde's design reflects its intended purpose. Though wholly dated in modern times, the SV-61's fanned NaPSs were one of the first to be able to breathe large amounts of macroscale particulate matter such as sand or even small birds in later fanless models such as the sparingly-produced SV-61E, though the structural integrity of the aforementioned birds was not guaranteed. This design of the NaPSs in conjunction with durable landing gear allowed the fighter to perform rolling takeoffs from any location with a suitable stretch of land and vertical takeoffs anywhere else. One place the Colichemarde was not intended to operate from was carriers due to its size, hence the lack of an arrestor hook.

    A main feature of the SV-61 and a key stepping stone for advanced NaPS development is its unique fused-body variable geometry. In an attempt to optimize airflow during both positive and negative pitch maneuvering the Colichemarde is able to shift the forwards half of its fuselage upwards or downwards, revealing the dual air intakes opposite to its direction of shifting. It should also be noted that in a "craning" position, the forwards section of the craft's wings separates into canard-like surfaces, assisting in the SV-61's maneuvering.

    The only internationally designed and produced fighter currently in service with the SMSDF, the CSF(Carrier Support Fighter)-74 is a 6th generation air superiority fighter designed to combat aircraft of comparable or superior technological advancement to itself. Deemed a "superplane-killer", the CSF-74 boasts a number of advanced aerial control surfaces all controlled by an advanced fly-by-wire system which allows the fighter to excel in one-on-one air to air engagements. Though its status as a true stealth aircraft is still debated, the Enchanter does integrate airframe geometries which reduce its radar cross section, giving it a slight advantage over more dated craft in BVR combat.

    Though lacking in true stealth capabilities, the CSF-74's selection of both domestic and foreign sensors are able to somewhat counteract enemy stealth design using an integrated database and in-flight machine learning to distinguish aircraft signatures from background noise even at intercontinental distances. Though the Enchanter is a capable craft on its own, the fighter was originally designed for seaborne defense for the Silran Maritime Territories and thus is a fully navalized craft. A combination of ultralight materials and advanced NaPSs completely negates the need for an aircraft carrier's catapult propulsion or even a ramp as with a light to medium load the CSF-74 is able to take off with as little as 180 meters of flat deck space, though an arrested recovery is still required.

    A notable weakness in the Enchanter's design is its relatively low capacity for missiles, only possessing enough hardpoints for 12 SSt Type Orange AAMs and a single centreline weapon. As the CSF-74 was not designed under Synnia, it was not required to meet SMSDF load requirements. Even with a relatively shallow missile pool, the fighter is able to make up for fewer chances to score a hit with a high probability of an early kill if able to initiate a dogfight, something reasonably achievable with both surface and air EW support.
