Some interesting facts about Our Glorious Marsoslavia

1. Marijuana is legal in Marsoslavia.

2. The anthem of Marsoslavia called "Hey, Slavs" was written in 1834, by Samo Tomášik, a Slovak romantic, prose writer and Lutheran pastor. It was used also in Slovakia (1939-1945), Yugoslavia (1945-2003) and Serbia and Montenegro (2003-2006).

3. In Marsoslavia, there are no poor, nor homeless people. The government provides everyone a roof over the head. Also the rents of apartments and houses provided by the state are very low (around 3% of Marsoslav's average wage). The private real estate development also exist, but the rents of houses or apartments built by them are higher than the ones built by the state.

Good to know: In June of 2139, before Wojakiewicz came to power, over 49% of population were on the verge of poverty and over 2,5 million Marsoslavs were homeless.

Usually they are a government representatives (including the King and the Dukes) and ministers, but also high-ranking military officers and managers of the state armaments plants, energetics etc.

9. The retirement age in Marsoslavia is 80 for both sexes. An average pension is a 70% of an average wage of the former workers.

10. The government of Marsoslavia pursues a policy of lingual purism.

11. In Marsoslavia, from 2138, there works the Sloswezmlad (The Slavic Union of the Youth) created by Wojakiewicz and his loyalists. It mainly brings people aged 7 to 25 years. Membership in it is compulsory for children in age of 7 to 17, since 2139. The Sloswezmlad members are taught in idea of Wojakiewism. This organization also puts pressure on physical and military exercises combined with discipline and ideological indoctrination. Currently, the number of Sloswezmlad members is over 22.5 million.

12. Both the age of consent and age of marriage is 15. Also the cases of a teenage marriages and pregnancies are frequent, in Marsoslavia. But teenage mothers have not any problems with continuing the education due to the adequate family planning services and competent social policy of the government.

13. The public transport is free.

14. In Marsoslavia, electricity, gas, water, healthcare, education, internet and using the mobile network are free.

15. Prostitution and extramarital sex are illegal in Marsoslavia and the people who commited this offenses are punished by public flogging, then they have the Mark of the Filth burned on their forehead with hot iron and these people are finally pariahized and rejected from the society. But the sex-robots remain legal. In this country, as many as 69 brothels with sex-robots as prostitutes operate in there. Sometimes that robots are bought by private persons, especially homosexual people.

16. 95% of Marsoslavs have at least one car but they usually use them only, when the public transport doesn't reach the places, where they want to go.

17. The internet technology in Marsoslavia belongs to the state. The way of the internet transmission is mixed (Li-Fi at day and Wi-Fi at night, due to the taking care of the citizens' health).

18. Marsoslavia is a secular state but insists on promoting traditions.

19. If someone from outside Marsoslavia would want to become its citizen permanently, he/she must to pass the DNA heritage test (to pass it, your DNA must be at least 93,75% Slavic and some of the other (non-Slavic) DNA groups can't exceed 3%), pass the Interslavic language and Slavs' history exams and know at least one other Slavic language.

20. Animal fights betting is legal in Marsoslavia. Cockfights and dog fights are the most popular branch of this sport but also the use of bulls, horses, donkeys, bears, pigs, eagles, snakes, some insects and fish cases have been noticed. The state has a monopoly to organize the fight bettings of some of these animals.

21. Working hours for workers must not exceed seven and half hours per day. Also, an employer must reward the workers with at least 200% of their hourly wage for every overtime hour of work.

22. The minimum wage in Marsoslavia is 2000 Marsoslav rubles netto per month (8,3 MR per hour). Before Wojakiewicz came to power in Marsoslavia, there was no minimum wage.

23. The personal income tax rates in Marsoslavia are 10% (if you earn 15000-130000 MR per year) and 30% (if you earn 130001 MR and more per year) of the income. The corporate income tax are 15% (if you earn 14000-120000 MR per year), 30% ( if you earn 120001-200000 MR per year) and 50% (if you earn 200001 MR and more per year) of the income.
