If you attack Broken Tooth Tribe's territories you get +35 more Favouritism points per province taken from them.
If you want to attack Broken Tooth Tribe's territories but you are not bordering them, then your army that is sent towards their lands can move 2 ticks away towards them:
- irrespective of any other army orders you give in that update (so you still have a maximum movement of 3 ticks or one of 2 ticks and unlimited of 1 tick)
- irrespective of your diplomacy status with your neighbouring factions (you don't have to be allied/friends with and you don't have to wait 1 update whenever you cross a border into another faction's land; as long as they let you walk through their lands - you first have to discuss this).
If you attack Kingdom of Arthedain's territories you get +35 more Favouritism points per province taken from them.

If you attack Clan Frostbeard's territories you get +15 more Favouritism points per province taken from them.
The factions of Druwaith Folk, Empire of Coldvar and The Defender's Fjord should stop future expansion.
Any faction (irrelevant of their number of owned provinces) is able to take advantage of the above bonuses only if they attack other factions that have at least +2 more provinces than the number of provinces they currently own (so if you have 6 provinces you can attack only other factions that have 8+ provinces).

Kingdom of Arthedain (message 1 of 2):
In Cardolan, the fair sage Fëanáro just left the tent of the King after a lengthy discussion about the future of the realm. As per the sage idea, King Minyatur sent an emissary to the capitol of the Etyangoldi Alliance, with the following message:
"Since your King has perished the Etyangoldi Alliance is left in shambles. Soon enough the entirety of your provinces are to be absorbed into the Elvea-Falasse and Kingdom of Arthedain friendship pact and your armies are to be most certainly destroyed in battle.
I propose to you to consider the following; we'll have peace with you if, and only if, you with relocate your capitol and swap your two remaining provinces to other provinces of our own; We offer to you the provinces of Minhiriath and Enedhwaith, on the shores of the Eriadoran coastline. Being so means that you are no longer able to provide assistance to the trolls of Trollshaw Realm since you are no longer bordering them, and will leave them to meet their own demise at the hands of the dwarves, and, perhaps, some assistance from the elves and humans."
The King smiled. The sage's idea was excellent; moving the Etyangoldi to these two lands meant less protection for the Trollshaw Realm and, mostly, meant a buffer against the Empire of Coldvar, if they ever wished to encroach due North into Middle Earth.
"You must answer with extra haste, since our armies are preparing to march onto Hollin, your capitol, where your soldiers will certainly meet their death. At stake is your lives and your faction's continuous existance.
If you do agree, then we'll swap in turn; First, we will swap your capitol with Enedhwaith. And in the next turn, we will swap the Redhorn Gate with Minhiriath. Obviously, to safeguard our own realm and ensure peace among our two factions, 2000 of your soldiers are to be given as tribute; the same number would anyway die in the engagement if we were to meet in battle in Hollin.
We await your answer."
The message was sent, and now all that remained was to wait. The sage also brought forth the matter of the ring, a past present from Curufinwe Fallenstar, the now-dead past ruler of the Etyangoldi; now that he is gone, Fëanáro the Sage ascertained that the ring can be made safe from any wrongs, and could be worn; especially if it said to have some magical enchantments.
Therefore, the sage agreed to look into the ring and see if its emanating power is now dangerous or if the dangers perished with the creator's demise. King Minyatur gave the ring to Fëanáro the Sage so he can further study it.
----
Send an offer of peace to the Etyangoldi Alliance if they agree to swap lands; Hollin (capitol) to Enedhwaith and Redhorn Gate to Minhiriath, as well as 2000 soldiers tribute.
If not, then an attack on Hollin is imminent.

The Woodland Realm (message 1 of 1):
Tulin Ironflow received the parchment from the dwarves of King Alexius Comnenus; it did show that they had orders to come to assist the Woodland Realm in the time of need, but that they got engaged in another battle and missed the call. Tulin calmed himself and was sympathetic to the plight of the dwarves of the Defender's Fjord; he also understood that the Clan Frostbeard engaged with the Trolls because the Trolls had a target for the lands of Woodland Realm. However, he was less than satisfied with the way the Clan Frostbeard dwarves conducted themselves in the tri-dwarf alliance. Of them both, only the Clan Frostbeard turned to enemy and called it to their face.
All in all, old wounds are now mending; the Dwarves of Woodland Realm no longer consider the two dwarves as enemies of the Woodland. Moreover, an offer for friendship was set forth to the Defender's Fjord, so that they, together, can assault the Trolls or the orcs, leaving the Clan Frostbeard dwarves "high and dry".
----
Cease to consider Clan Frostbeard and The Defender's Fjord as enemies
Send an alliance request to the Defender's Fjord, with the goal of attacking either the trolls or the orcs.
.
.
Druwaith Folk (message 1 of 1):
The Dru folk lamented losing the Druadan Forests in Ithilien, their place of meditation and gathering. Yes, they made a home of the Foothills, but in secret still sighted for the land of Ithilien, now captured by the Corsairs of Umbar. Secret whispers mentioned about the Corsairs leaving soon, but whispers not always get materialized.
Primitive or not, the Dru folk started to be contempt living in these strange new lands; other than the Foothills and the forests of Fangorn, the rest of the lands now currently in the Dru possesion are already inhabited by other races, and these races are not extremely content with their new rulers. The Druadain know that they are not easy to look at, maybe not as smart as others, but they're fierce enough so that if others make them mad they know how to retaliate. But the Druadain are not stupid, and they know not to retaliate against a 5000'force dominion ...
So the Dru started to see about their new lands. Their society was never one to work the land as they spent most of their times secluded from the world, in caves or cast away from the eyes of the outsiders, deep in forests. They know magic, so maybe that's a good starting point; Gather magic.
.
.
Trollshaw Realm (message 1 of 1):
The Trollshaws are in check, if ever such an expression existed in these lands. The dwarves of Clan Frostbeard are masters at combat, piling enough dwarves at the borders so that the Trolls have no chance of winning, while keeping their other borders secure. And now as the other side is vulnerable to the attack from the Defender's Fjord, things are dire.
Torogok understood. He was defeated. Technically, not yet, but defeated he was. The last hopes were from the elves of Etyangoldi, but he received no news from them; is as if the Etyangoldi are transitioning into something else, the only moment when they replied was when the Etyangoldi asked for assistance.
Ohh how things fell. From a good dominion, from punishing the humans of the land that enslaved past trolls, from meeting with the dwarves in good omen, to being tricked by the dwarves and to playing this back and forth game of trench wars. And all because Torogok showed on a map the pinpoint of the faction that declared war on them!
If the Etyangoldi decide to help, its still time. But Torogok felt that the Etyangoldi are as dead as his faction soon is to be. If not for diplomacy. Even if he had a spiteful feeling in his throat regarding the dwarves, he would contact the dwarves of the Clan Frostbeard:
"Dwarves of Dralvik,
We yield. You've won. Lets cease our unfortunate hostilities and return to past relations. You've conquered most of our lands and destroyed our morale. We're nothing more than trolls lamenting for our past glory, locked in Ettenmoors. Let us have peace and turn unto others."
----
Send a peace request to the Clan Frostbeard
Still await an answer from Etyangoldi Alliance

.
The Defender's Fjord (message 1 of 2):
Finally, a dwarf from Mirkwood arrived. “My King sees your evidence of help sent, and would like to rekindle the alliance we shared, against the trolls and the orcs.” Alexius sat for a few moments, deep in thought. “Very well. We agree.” The King paused. “Tell your King this is our plan. We will attack Ettenmoors with Dralvik when he is ready, thereby essentially eliminating the trolls. Then we turn north and eliminate the Orcs of Gundabad. Meanwhile a sizeable contingent of my forces will confront the Broken Tooth Tribe, who is advancing towards my territory. Also, so he is aware, we have an alliance with Dralvik, and we are not to attack the elves of Elvea-Falasse and the humans of Arthedain.” Alexius calls in a runner to relay the return of the Woodland Enclave to the fold, and the plan above to Dralvik. The King thinks, I need an advantage to help against the Orcs of Snickelfritz. Then he realizes the Druwaith were attacked by the Corsairs, who are allied with Snicklefritz. “I have an idea” he says to himself.

Kingdom of Arthedain (message 2 of 2):
Fëanáro the Sage called the King to him; he has news regarding the ring that was offered once ago by Curufinwe Fallenstar.
"King Minyatur, upon a meticulous search of this artefact it does seem to possess some particular magical properties, however they lay dormant as if the source of power has been estinguished. It has been crafted and inbued with magic by techniques long forgotten, so I wouldn't even hazard to guess who else, other than the late King Curufinwe, still knows how to tap into these secrets.
The ring can be extremely powerful, if you find a way to activate it. As it is, the ring is as powerful as you make it; you can wear it and feel indestructible or you can wear it and feel nothing. It's all in your mind. I may be able to unlock its secrets if I study the place where the ring was crafted; there ought to be some clues left there."
To which the King replied:
"Thank you, my sage. I will keep the ring safely until we can unlock its full potential and strip it of any outside danger. And from all of the intelligence we have, I reckon that that place's the Redhorn Gate. Hopefully we can get that territory from the Etyangoldi without a fight as I've sent them an ultimatum, just as you proposed,"
And the sage replied:
"Excellent choice. Then let me keep the ring, as I'll conduct further experiments on it."
King Minyatur gave the ring to the sage and went back to his day.

Etyangoldi Alliance (message 1 of 2):
After the chaos earlier and the most recent lack of leadership, the forces in the capitol province of Hollin appear to come to life again.
There's no heir to ascend to the throne, there's no central command, so, basically, no-one officially has assumed control of the faction. Yet, things are moving again, as if the armies are receiving their orders from somewhere.
There are black smoke clouds over Redhorn Gate.
.
.
Etyangoldi Alliance (message 2 of 2):
A note was sent to the Kingdom of Arthedain; the Etyangoldi accept the peace deal and accept to relocate their capitol to Enedhwaith and in next turn, swap Redhorn Gate with Minhiriath. In return, the Kingdom of Arthedain has to guarantee the Etyangoldi Alliance's territory integrity for at least 5 updates. Also, 2000 soldiers are to be sent as tribute to the Kingdom of Arthedain.

The Defender's Fjord (message 2 of 2):
When King Alexius received the news from Dralvik regarding the attack, he was elated. He summoned a trusted general, named Aigror. "General, Dralvik is attacking Gundabad with many troops. You will take all the soldiers from Upper Anduin and assist him in his attack". Then he summoned General Erasmus (OOC: the Hero). "general, I fear during our attack on Gundabad, the trolls may attack. You are to go and bolster our defenses in High Pass." Lastly, he called for a messenger, to deliver a message to King Tulin. The message reads, "King Tulin, the attack on Gundabad commences, if you wish to prove your loyalty to our alliance, you will help me and Dralvik take it."

Clan Frostbeard (message 1 of 1):
"They allied Clan Frostbeard and Defender's Fjord forces now occupy the major passes and trade routes in the north of the Misty Mountains", Commander Toremrouk said while reading the message from the Kingdom of Defender's Fjord.
"Ha! I knew they could do it...", King Dalvik jumped from his chair and went towards the war table: "Odd, we are in a strange situation here... Toremrouk, What you think?".
The old commander appart himself from the fire pit, and took a look to the war table. There, his eyes moved fast, looking at every little metal token and settlement while combing his moustache said: "Its odd indeed, if the scouts are correct... and I'm sure they are cause I trust my boys, we reach a dead end. And by that I mean... If, we keep doing the same estrategy..."
Dralvik eyes opened wide, and then frowned looking for answers in the eyes of his commander to that statment.
"You'll see my liege...", Commander Toremrouk continued: "Long time ago, when I was under your father's command, we were fighthing the wolf-hides in deep territory up north. The armies forces were almost equal in numbers but our enemy had the high ground... we saw a dead end there too...", Toremrouk took a pipe out of his boot and field the bowl with herbs.
"And, and wht did you do?", Dralvik said with the eyes of a child looking at his grampa hooked by the story.
Toremrouk settled himself moving from side to side in the chair in a relaxed posture and took a puff on the pipe, held the smoke for a while and then said as the smoke escaped from his mouth: " It was winter, we made the headquarters at Sűri-kylä. The Wolf-hides dared King Drolvuk Frozenhelm's, to assault them in their mountain fastnesses.
When they learned that your father had mustered an army in the dead of winter and was marching to assault them, they were elated. The Wolf-hides settlement was impregnable, its city on high cliffs overlooking the landscape, nestled in a high mountain basin with steep, unscalable cliffs in their rear even for a dwarf.
The Frostbead army was small, poorly trained and outfitted, short on rations, and unprepared for winter campaigning... they were mostly militia. As our ragged units assembled in the lowlands of the mountian, the wolf-hides confidently assumed that their enemy had delivered himself into their trap.
We couldn't reach them, it was a hard job. The unscalable cliff in front of us and the poor aim of our enemy made your father think in a better strategy...",
the smoke that Toremrouk exhaled, drew the story as he spoke.
"What did you do then?", Dralvik asked leaning foward.
"We left...", Toremrouk smile as he saw Dralvik expression. He moved the token reprecenting the forces at Upper Rudhaur to Angmar and continued: "Accordingly, the Wolf-hides left the city, descending through lower passages to attack and overwhelm us. Haha!..They expected to defeat, and annihilate Drolvuk's army. Thus did your father lure the wolf-hides to their doom in the mountain's base. We didn't loose a single dwarf..."
Dralvik looked at the war table, letting a little smile reveal his excitement. He the look at an unattended open scroll, it was a message from the Trollshaw realm, a message of peace so they claim. A message of peace of a kind that committed crimes against Dralvik folks in the eyes of the king.
"So you propose we retreat The Iron-Breakers from Upper Rudhaur and let the trolls think we retreat?", Dralvik asked while scratching his beard.
"Precisely!", said Toremrouk moving his pipe to the corner of his lip:"...You see, moving our force here in Angmar will confuse the trolls... They already accept a defeat. So our concern is the Orcs in the North... We crush the orcs, we let our ally rest for a while knowing that his norther flank is secure then we take the trolls by surprise. Hammer and Anvil my young friend, hammer and anvil".
"You are a mad lad Toremrouk", said Dralvik with a smile in his face:"... a crazy genius!".
"I have my moments of inspiration yeah", the old commander mocked and the break into a laugh.
As he was laughing, Dralvik wrote down the orders to Baldur's forces and a report to King Alexius justifying the next military movements of the clan. Then the King called a goat rider in to the tent, and order to make hastle to deliver the message to King Alexius.
//////////////////////////////////
///// Report to King Alexius: Marching on Gundabad
______________________________________
Report to King Alexius,
Dear friend. Despite extensive intelligence-gathering, the Iron-Breaker are clearly unprepared for the situation in Ettenmoors. The unexpected reinforcements of the retreated trolls make the capture of the province a worthless bloodsheld.
Without the loss of a majority of the Forochel armies during the campaign, my army council suggest to attack the Orc forces at Gundabad. Doing so will cause a confusion in the trolls eyes and an unespected massive attack on the orc front.
The weather also forced us to make hastle this time so we are assiging all the mayor forces to this task.
The besieged of the frontiers of Gundabad ends now. We are marching into the province with full force.
I hope to see your forces on the battlefield.
May your hammer strikes true.
Your friend,
Dralvik

Broken Tooth Tribe (message 1 of 1):
The orc baggage train slowly plodded its way north. The air surrounding it was foul – not only in a literal sense, due to the belching steam and smoke from the many engines of war accompanying the train; but a foul mood, as well, hung in the air, engulfing the marching orcs.
The weather had turned on them, following the campaign against the Variag. What had begun in high spirits, as a sort of victory march across their realm, quickly soured with the coming of the rains and now more resembled a death march. Progress had slowed to a crawl, as dirt roads were transformed into meandering mud pits, rivers swelled until overflowing their banks, and every valley filled into a swamp. River crossings had become a logistical morass, each time necessitating construction of a new bridge. Forests were being felled at every step of the journey north, orc artificers converting them en masse into bridges over torrential riverways, and into temporary paving across washed out paths and sucking mud.
Twice, portions of the army had mutinied. Once, when a sort of affliction swept through the soldiers from having been too long partially-submerged in diseased waters. The bane claimed a significant number of orcs, but Snicklefritz ended up claiming far more in maintaining order in the ranks.
The second instance of mutiny was more serious. At the height of the storms, when orc and livestock alike were being swept away by churning waters and drowned in snaring mud, meat was being strictly rationed. One of the lesser orc commanders took it upon himself to organize a raiding party to break off a portion of the herds and go off on their own.
Snicklefritz smiled as he thought back on the attempted revolt. He had been rewarded for his foresight in the employing of spies and agents internally, among his own army, as well as externally against his foes. Trackers had followed these would-be rustlers every step of the way, that night. And agents among them kept close to the chief conspirator. And, when the time was right, the silent wolf riders stepped from the surrounding wood to encircle the breakaway group, while the spies amongst them closed on their leader and quickly dispatched him. One of every ten of the rebels were executed, and order rapidly restored.
“Sometimes,” Snicklefritz thought with a snarl of a grin, “a well-timed disorder among the ranks, properly put down, is the perfect morale boost needed to get an army marching correctly again.”
The air may yet be foul, but let the stinking air stink – who cares for it? His orcs can suck the fumes from his furnaces, for all he cared. At least the rains had ceased, at last, and the army was closing on the unclaimed territories of the north. Another victory, and his troops would be right-restored to their former, rousing selves. And who was there to keep this victory from them? Snicklefritz spat from his mount and eyed the horizon.
