[size=150][b]Article I: Style and Legitimacy of Government[/b][/size]

[list=1][*]The Sandcastle Kingdom of Warzone Sandbox is the sole lawful government of Warzone Sandbox.[/list]


[size=150][b]Article II: Fa'amatai[/b][/size]
[size=75]The Way of Family[/size]

[list=1][*]All persons who have a nation within Warzone Sandbox, and have applied for status on our regional discord, shall be considered Residents of Warzone Sandbox and shall possess the title Tagatanu’u.
[*]All persons who have a World Assembly nation within Warzone Sandbox, and have applied for status on our regional discord, shall be considered Citizens of Warzone Sandbox and shall possess the title Matai Sili.
[list=a][*]Other manners of gaining the rank of Matai Sili may be established by law. [/list][/list]

[size=150][b]Article III: Ali’i[/b][/size]
[size=75]The High Chief[/size]

[list=1][*]The Ali’i shall be the de facto head of the State and Government of Warzone Sandbox, and all executive authority shall be vested in them. 
[*]The Ali’i shall serve until their resignation of the office, or until they fail to meet the requirements of office:
[list=a][*]They must be able to serve as World Assembly Delegate of Warzone Sandbox
[*]They must not have attempted to coup or overthrow by force the lawful government of Warzone Sandbox[/list]
[*]Prior to the tendering of their resignation the Ali’i must appoint a suitable replacement for them who is capable of meeting all the requirements of office.
[list=a][*]This person shall be known as the Manaia.[/list]
[*]The Ali’i shall have the authority to issue Decrees, which shall have the force of law, to address such matters as require pressing and immediate attention.[/list]

[size=150][b]Article IV: Tulafale[/b][/size]
[size=75]The Speaking Chief[/size]

[list=1][*]The Ali’i shall appoint from among the members of the Tagatanu’u and the Matai Sili a person to serve as their chief deputy for the purpose of administering their executive government; this person shall be known as the Tulafale.
[list=a][*]The Tulafale serves at the leisure of the Ali’i and may be dismissed at any time.[/list]
[*]The Tulafale shall preside over the executive function of the government; and may at their discretion, appoint further deputies, known as Kahunas, to assist in the carrying out of their duties
[list=a][*]The Tulafale must appoint a Kahuna Tala Atu to assist in the administration of Foreign Affairs
[*]The Tulafale must appoint a Kahuna Aiga to assist in the administration of Internal Affairs.[/list]
[*]The Tulafale shall have the authority to oversee all matters relating to the Internal and Foreign affairs of the region of Warzone Sandbox, and may, on behalf of the Ali’i:
[list=a][*]Negotiate treaties and alliances with foreign powers. 
[*]Plan and put on celebrations and festivals.
[*]Perform all other tasks required for the proper function of the executive government[/list][/list]

[size=150][b]Article V: Fono o Matai[/b][/size]
[size=75]The  Family Council; henceforth referred to as the Fono[/size]

[list=1][*]Primary legislative authority shall be vested in the Fono o Matai.
[*]The Fono o Matai shall be comprised of all members of the Matai Sili and the Ali’i
[*]The Fono shall have the authority to draft, discuss, pass, amend, and repeal laws to govern the region of Warzone Sandbox.
[*]The Fono shall have the authority to review all Decrees issued by the Ali’i, and to overturn them by a two-thirds majority vote.
[list=a][*]The Ali’i may not participate in a vote to overturn a Decree.[/list]
[*]The Fono shall have the authority to elect its own leader, known as the Failauga, to oversee the proper function of the Fono
[*]The Fono may establish its own rules and protocols, in addition to those established in law, by a simple majority vote of its members.
[list=a][*]The vote of the Ali’i shall be reserved for times when it is required to break a tie.[/list][/list]

[size=150][b]Article VI: Failauga[/b][/size]
[size=75]The Speaker[/size]

[list=1][*]The Failauga shall be elected by the Fono from among the members of the Matai Sili
[list=a][*]The Failauga shall be elected by a vote of the Matai Sili
[*]No person shall be elected Failauga who receives less than fifty-one percent of the vote
[*]Should a vote be held where no candidate receives fifty-one percent of the vote the candidate who received the fewest votes shall be dropped from the ballet and the vote held again. This process shall be repeated until a candidate meets the requirement to be declared Failauga. 
[*]Should no candidate stand forward for election to the position of Failauga, the Ali’i may serve in the role or appoint a deputy to serve for them.
[*]The electoral period for the failauga shall last at minimum seven days; with a five day campaign period and a two day voting period.
[list=i][*]Should a runoff vote be required the runoff voting period shall last for a single day, and will be repeated until a candidate meets the requirement to be elected Failauga[/list][/list]
[*]The Failauga shall serve until their resignation or recall by the Fono
[list=a][*]Any member of the Matai Sili may submit a motion of no confidence in the Failauga
[*]After a motion of no confidence has been submitted to the Fono it shall remain open for a 72 hour debate period
[*]If one-third of the Fono’s membership supports the motion then a vote shall begin upon the conclusion of the 72 hour debate period, if the motion fails to accrue the necessary support the motion shall be closed and the affairs of the Fono shall continue as normal. 
[*]If the motion accrues the necessary support the vote shall begin as soon as possible after the conclusion of the debate period, and shall last for 48 hours. If fifty-one percent or more of the Fono supports the removal of the Failauga then the Failauga shall be removed from their office and a new election shall be called.[/list]
[*]The Fono shall define the rights and duties of the Failauga by law.[/list]

[size=150][b]Article VII: Amendment[/b][/size]

[list=1]The Fa’a Warzone Sandbox may only be amended by a two-thirds majority vote of Matai Sili, and with the assent of the Ali’i.[/list]

[size=150][b]Article VIII: Supremacy[/b][/size]

[list=1][*]The Fa’a Warzone Sandbox is the highest law of Warzone Sandbox
[*]Should a contradiction occur between The Fa’a Warzone Sandbox and any other law, the Fa’a Warzone Sandbox shall take precedence insofar as the contradiction is concerned, until the contradiction can be fixed. [/list][/font]
