If you attack Broken Tooth Tribe's territories you get +25 more Favouritism points per province taken from them.
If you want to attack Broken Tooth Tribe's territories but you are not bordering them, then your army that is sent towards their lands can move 2 ticks away towards them:
- irrespective of any other army orders you give in that update (so you still have a maximum movement of 3 ticks or one of 2 ticks and unlimited of 1 tick)
- irrespective of your diplomacy status with your neighbouring factions (you don't have to be allied/friends with and you don't have to wait 1 update whenever you cross a border into another faction's land; as long as they let you walk through their lands - you first have to discuss this).
If you attack Kingdom of Arthedain's territories you get +25 more Favouritism points per province taken from them.

The factions of Empire of Coldvar, Clan Frostbeard and Druwaith Folk do not get any of the above bonuses, and should stop future expansion.

Elvea-Falasse (message 1 of 4):
To the Empire of Coldvar
To the Lord of Men South of the White Mountains,
Hello, my name is Cirdan. I am the lord of those that call the lands of Lindon home. Please excuse the unfamiliarity of our realm with yours, much time has passed since we needed to contact your part of the continent. The reason for contacting you is that my elf kinsmen Curufinwe has led his people astray. We have looked into the matter thoroughly and it was shown that Curufinwe killed many orcs and dwarves in Moria and uses slaves to for mining. He used assassins to kill several people in the Blue Mountains in an attempt to sever ties between my people and the Frostbeards, he also has stamped out liberty and dissenters are said to vanish. Currently my nation and the men of Arthedain are at campaign with Etyangoldi. Despite everything Curufinwe and those knowledgeable about his doings are my brothers. I wish to see him defeated quickly and with as little casualties as possible. I am aware of the possibility of a prolonged war, though it pains me greatly. This is why I contacted you. I am aware the majority of his forces are along your north border and you possess the naval capacity to flank him at Minhiriath, however I don't know the strength of your forces. If you so choose would you like to establish relations between are nations? As well as helping to defeat Curufinwe in a swift and nondestructive fashion? When all is done I wish for the small kingdoms that once ruled the land Curufinwe conquered to be returned to them. And for a moral and upright king to rise in Hollin and guild my kinsmen back to the light. As for Curufinwe and his followers they are to be exiled to the West where Mandos can teacher them the error of their ways.,
Respectfully yours,
Cirdan
To King Alexius
Dear King Alexius,
Please excuse the delayed response to your message and request. We accept you invite of friendship. The Frostbeards are our close friends. With regards to your campaign against the orcs and trolls, realistically my nation will be unable to help at the moment. We are currently at arms with my kinsmen Curufinwe over matters of massacres, slavery, and the repression of liberty, and my men of arms council me on the need to concentrate on a single opponent. I apologise about this and would like your thoughts. Finally I'd council your nation and the Frostbeards to focus on a single enemy as well to prevent any unnessary time spent at arms.
Warmly and respectfully,
Cirdan
To King Dralvik II
Dear King Dralvik II,
Sorry to be a bother King Dralvik, but it wouldn't be right of me not to express my concerns over your battles against the the orcs and trolls. Realistically I don't believe Elvea-Falasse or Arthedain can be of assistance given our current woes. I worry that two nations against two nations will result in a stalemate. Please excuse me and I hope you find these thoughts useful.
Warmly and respectfully,
Cirdan
Along the East Road
When the charging horsemen where within sight but where far enough away where the riders could resume a full speed charge at Curufinwe's party the rider with the horn blew for them to halt. Looking at Curufinwe and sword still sheathed she said to Curufinwe;
"The time has come for you to know the full extent of matters. When the lands of Arthedain spoke against you Elvea-Falasse had the obligation to determine what the truth was. We did so impartially. Scouts where sent covertly into your realm to discover the truth. It was shown that you killed the dwarves and orcs of the Redhorn Gate, we saw the remains. We saw slaves in the strip mines and saw how people where frightful to be themselves or to move freely. Elvea-Falasse has been maneuvering for your capture and those knowledgeable to your wrongdoing so that you may be exiled to the West and learn the error of your ways, and a ruler privee to the morals of Eru could arise." With a stern but hopeful expression she continued; "I ask you now for you and those amongst your nation involved in these wrongdoings to lay down your weapons and come with us so you may go to Valinor. Battle is not in the nature of the people of Lindon. Many lives rest in your hands. What say you Curufinwe?"
To King Minyatur
Dear King Minyatur,
The final cast of the dice has been made of whether Curufinwe can be apprehended and sent to Mandos. I have made contact with the men south of the White Mountains for a possible friendship and aid for a hopefully quick and bloodless victory. While the Etyangoldi capital and the liberation of the Redhorn Gate are in reach, our army will not deviate from aiding in the defense along the frontier.
Respectfully yours,
Cirdan

Clan Frostbeard (message 1 of 3):
"Shields up!", roared Baldur, and the shields raised in the middle of the formation, the trolls stared around looking for an opening into the dwarfs divisions.
The Iron-Breakers, clad from head to toe in steel plates and steel chain mails, advanced while enemies fall before their axes like winter wheat before the scythe and the dieding orcs blow strokes harmlessly off their nigh-impervious armour and the strokes of the trolls were caught and deflected by their sturdy shields fighting in tight formations.
The shock of the orcish arrows, coming from the trees surprised the left phalanx. Two dozen dwarves fell to the orcish arrows in the first volley.
When it became apparent that the Dwarves would not give ground, some orcs chose to descend and engage the advancing Iron-Breakers sword-to-axe.
The ground was shaking, and silence fell abruptly and completely as Baldur and the Troll commander looked at each other, and began, at the same moment, to circle each other.
"I don’t want anyone else to try to help me", the Troll Commander said loudly: "This one is mine..."
At the end of the day the Troll commander was blinded and bleeding, wrenching wildly in the ground. He was putting out of his misery by a final blow of Baldur' axe.
A Liutenant Iron-Breaker approached the Commander, and removing his face mask said: "Commander, a few of the archers were able to flee to the South, but most were killed. We have manage to spare the life of those men slave division, which claimed to come from the East... Arthedain they say"
"Very well", said Baldur: "send word to King Minyatur about our success in the troll land and that we are ready to repatriate some soldiers of his realm that we found in the Trollshaw Realm's slave-trade. But first informed King Dralvik, and our allies about our victory in the western border."
"Right away my Lord!", The lieutenant said and dismiss himself.

Sends a message to King Alexius and King Cirdan, informing about the Clan Frostbeard's victory in Upper Rhudaur.
Sends an emissary to the Kingdom of Arthedain, informing them of the discovery of their compatriots transformed into slaves by the trolls.

Corsairs of Umbar (message 1 of 4):
"The Ruler of the Variag Order, where is he?", Angamaith asked one of his generals involved in the fight in Sutherland.
"Commander, he's dead. Killed in the fight."
"What? Who dared kill him? Was it the orcs of the Broken Tooth Tribe? I told them that we want him to pay for his crimes!"
The general looked dazed, unsure how to proceed.
"Yes, it was an orc", and after a small pause, "but no, my liege, it was one of ours. One of the orcs of the Southern division of your troops. But it was a fierce fight, he did not want to surrender and ... well, eventually, he died."
Angamaith calmed down.
"You see?", he added. "He knew better what expected him once he met me. I respect that. If it was not out of foul play but actually fought and died, then his deeds towards us are extinguished."
The general then added: "Yes, commander. And, what about the orcs of Broken Tooth, now? Shall we go and claim some o'that Favouritism? Easy pickings if you ask me ..."
"But I didn't ask you, Grimvrick", Angamaith replied to the general, calling him by his name. "Our word is our coin, have you already forgotten that? And, besides, what good that Favouritism will do us? It serves us no purpose, we couldn't care any less if we were the target instead of them orcs. No, as long as the orcs supply us with troops and coin from our mutual, hmm, let's say, 'expeditions', then they're more valuable to us. Now, how goes the process of extracting our righteful gold from the Sutherlands? We have to get what we can carry and move back. I think that the humans of the Dru are eyeing Ithilien again."
"The extraction of gold is proceeding on schedule. We are to move out in a few more days, coffers full. But, commander, what about the Empire of Coldvar? They have not replied to your deal, and I think we gave them enough time."
"That saddens me the most. You are correct, they have not taken us seriously. Even as we just took two capitols in one turn, some in this new world still see us with lack of respect. They have to be teached respect, in layers. Right now let's move our troops from Sutherland back towards our own realm, back towards Ithilien. But we might give them other orders a bit later. Important thing right now is to get those coffers back to our ships, as we can use the coin to purchase more manpower come next update. "
----
Move all from Sutherland towards Ithilien, but this decision might change later on

Etyangoldi Alliance (message 1 of 3):
On the road
"You treacherous elf!", Curufinwe replied. "I sensed something was wrong, but I just could not put my fingers on it. I had thought that the humans double crossed us and blocked our path towards Hollin, but no, it was the elves all along! And we called you allies!", while spitting on the ground in front of the elf from Elvea-Falasse.
"Cirdan is a cunning one ... using subterfuges and proxies, using others he was not even allied to .. to, what? Dethrone me? Ha! Sparing even the least drop of blood from them elves, Cirdan turns to others to do his bidding. He ain't that far away in character to me, don't you think? I use others, he uses others. In the end, both of our goals are noble ... but, you see? Him sparing your precious elf blood for all this time means that you are weak, brother. While we are strong. I reckon that me and these 20 of my guards could win in battle against you, your troops and 100 more.
While you were singing and partying in the Gray Havens, we were up to our elbows deep mining and extracting precious ore, turning it to armor and weapons using recipes long forgotten. We call it mithril, and its stronger than your best steel and its inbued with magical properties; it glimmers when in danger and to blind our foes. And you, today, are our foes.
We have ended our conversation and our ties with the treacherous elves of Elvea-Falasse. You better leave us go on our way towards Hollin, or certainly die at the hands of our blades. And knowing your kin, you'd rejoice at the thought of meeting your makers.", while Curufinwe and his guards unsheated their mithril weapons and dropped down their tunics that hid their blueish armor for the first time in Middle Earth.
----
The Etyangoldi Alliance cease the Alliance with the Elvea-Falasse and declare them as Enemies (no war, just the declaration).
If the party from Elvea-Falasse do not instantly let the King Curufinwe and his 20 highly armored guards be on their way, they will engage in fight. They are not surrendering.

Kingdom of Arthedain (message 1 of 3):
The encirclement at the Shire was a success. The Kingdom of Arthedain now owned both Cardolan provinces, and the troops were stationed at all road forks, near the forests and in all towns. With King Curufinwe's retreat cut off, King Minyatur sent word to King Cirdan, informing him of securing the provinces.
"Esteemed King Cirdan, we secured Cardolan and Northern Cardolan. The population is now free from the tyranny of the Etyangoldi, and are certainly rejoicing as we speak. We stationed many of our troops along the lands, but so far we have not met with Curufinwe's party. We hope that you already captured him at The Shire and that he is facing judgement even as we speak. I'm sure that all of The Shire will rejoice at the sight of him in chains, judged for all of his crimes.
Please send us news, any that you have! And tell us what should be our next step. I fear that we might have lost some momentum as direct attack on Hollin, right now, spells defeat. Our scouts inform us that more troops are mustering in Hollin and are to be ready come next update, which coincides with the time I finish the training of my own troops, in the capitol. I fear that even our two combined forces stand no match against their capitol. And their armies are still unaccounted for. We are holding the front lines, and I hope you finish with the King so that the rest of the army lies their arms peacefully once the tyrant is down. Tell us what we should do or tell us if you have news of their armies, from your previous scouting."
A while later, King Minyatur was informed that scouts from other lands have reached his camp in Cardolan.
"Excuse the delay, emissaries. Being at the forefront of battle and involving oneself directly in the webs of war leaves little time for diplomacy and discussion. But now I have time to talk."
There was an emissary from The Defender's Fjord of Withered Heath and an emissary from the Clan Frostbeard of Forochel.
To the Defender's Fjord:
" King Alexius Comnenus, I've heard of your plight against the wretched trolls to our east. They enslaved many of the humans of the realm, before I ascended to the throne. Many that right now fight against you are, I fear, men from our realm. Take this not against us, as those men certainly have suffered many hardships before submitting themselves as peons in the troll's army. Best for them is to be killed in battle, I fear, for their souls will be once more again free.
The West is in a fight against the tyrant King Curufinwe Fallenstar, ruler of the Etyangoldi Alliance. We have engaged him so that he does not have time to send reinforcements for what I assume to be his ally. Yes, the elves of the Etyangoldi have as ally the trolls you are fighting! The times we live in ...
Alas, we are fighting the elves. The fight is hard, and I fear the worst is yet to come. But rest assured that our dedication, our kin and the kin of elves under Cirdan, of the Elvea-Falasse, are keeping the tyrant elf occupied and you have the power to finish the Troll. Because, without help from his powerful ally, the Trolls will fall.
Glory for the races that unite Middle Earth! "
and to the Clan Frostbeard:
" What a joyous occasion, Dralvik the II'nd! Humans, reuniting with their families. Long lost brothers and sisters laying down their arms and escaping slavery! We have only you and your kin to thank for, dwarf.
We have a Non Aggression Pact between our two realms, but I extend to you my friendship. The elves of Elvea-Falasse are my friends, and I hope to also count the Dwarves of Clan Frostbeard of Forochel as my friends.
As for the news of Trolls, there is an emissary from the Defender's Fjord talking about similar matters. You might know one another, and certainly you are free to meet him if you so desire. We knew that the Trolls have engaged with humans many a times in the past, but all our reports pointed to local skirmishes around their swamps of Ettenmoors. Apparently we were wrong, and many from Arthedain also fell to their sway. But I guarantee to you, all of these most unfortunate matters happened long before I ascended as king of Arthedain.
And since then, the main goal of my kingdom was to punish the Elves of Etyangoldi Alliance. But only now I understand that there was a double machination at work, the elves and the trolls working together."
----
Send a reply to the Defender's Fjord that Elvea-Falasse and the Kingdom of Arthedain have engaged with the elves of Etyangoldi Alliance, so that the allies of the trolls will not help them out.
Send gratitude to the Clan Frostbeard for the men out of slavery and also send a friendship request to the Clan Frostbeard

Corsairs of Umbar (message 2 of 4):
"Send this to the orcs of Broken Tooth Tribe;
'Our two armies fought decently together. You might have noticed that we sent a significantly lower force, but it was still larger than necessary for us to have the bulk of the fight. We were also eying the province of Ithilien, from the Druwaith Folk; and we just had to snatch it. Hope they were not your friends; they had it coming, anyway.
What about now? What are your next plans, ally? We were thinking at surprising the Empire of Coldvar, but something tells me that they're more your friends than the humans of Druwaith Folk. They don't want to pay up, so they will end up paying up with their blood. Want to add anything there? If you're aiming at someone anew to make your enemy, let us know; we might help."

Elvea-Falasse (message 2 of 4):
The horses of Lindon pawed and whinnied. Reality set in as riders sat ready to loose weapons and spur their horses forward. Gwilwilether said;
"I give you one last chance for you and your armed men to obstain from battle, and for a moral ruler to arise once more in Hollin"

Clan Frostbeard (message 2 of 3):
The news of the Baldur's victory on Upper Rhudaur reached the camp in Angmar, King Dralvik was leaning on a beautifully crafted war table, moving metal pieces back and forward. He was speaking to his war council.
"Sir, recent victory must be celebrated. But as your elder commander and commander of your father's forces, may Mahal guide his soul, I have to express my concern towards this campaign", said the commander while leaning on his war-pick: "We have to take into account that the food resource from the Blue Mountains will take some time to replenish from the suffered attack, and our bronze-scaled whale fat are cut out because of the hard blizzards storming the Ice Bay... so maybe it's time to trade with our neighbor kingdoms for some supplies or even better send word to the Wooden Enclave. After all, the dwarves have to stand together".
"Commander Toremrouk is right my lord, we need to focus in our food supplies, that’s important, but I also suggest given the recent new arrived from our elves alleys we also have to make some kind of presence against this Curufinwe lad, maybe Nrulvim can send some troops to aid and reinforce our allies in the southern part of Lindon, with the premises of King Cirdan of course", said another commander while pointing Lindon in the war table.
"Aye! I agree with you two", said Dralvik while moving some pieces and crowning them with some little flags: "... but first I will send word to Alphrovon, asking to inform us about their current situation. Give me a parchments".
One dwarf rushed to the chests area and gave the King the parchments. As Dralvik was writing he continued: "The dwarves of Wooden Enclave will surely will give us some hard time trying to regaining their trust, but it was not our actions but their leaders that made them fall... we will help them with what we can if they are open to trade with us"
"Aye, we can't gave away our resources in our current situation. We need a compromise from their part", said Toremrouk.
"Aye, we oath to defend our kin, i hope they are honorable too", said one lord.
"I hope that too my lord, I hope that too…", said Dralvik: "Please deliver these scrolls to the goat riders, make sure they head to their respective destination before dawn".
//////////////////////////////////////////
///////// To the liege of the honorable warriors of the Wooden Enclave
//////////////////////////////////////////
To the liege of the honorable warriors of the Wooden Enclave,
To be a noble of house is more than being a great warrior or a king. One must follow the triune virtues of duty, gravity, and piety but I am afraid that my fallen ally the Queen Barazturg, had more ambition on his mind that actually looking for the best for the realm.
A dwarf's duty is first to their kin, second to the house, and third to one's family and clan. In the so-called "Slaughter of Redhorn" at the mountains feet, dwarves died and murdered. By defending their House against evil-hearted elves under the orders and the lies of untrustworthy King Curufinwe Fallenstar.
True dwarves noble shows duty to the Wooden Enclave realm by extending their hand and crushing the enemy forces. Following the dwarf noble's guidelines of mercy and generosity show duty to one's kin, family and clan.
A dwarf noble must know the virtue of gravity. It is not the dwarf way to break oath at serious matters like these, for it shows disrespect towards his kin. It is not the dwarf way to cut all relations with their only allies, for they have been defeated in battle.
The Clan Frostbeard praises all the skills of war. Not because we believe war is good or honorable in its own right, but because this knowledge is necessary to perform one's duty.
Our duty still is to your realm, and our fallen kin in Redhorn Gate.
Please accept our hand as a token of friendship towards our realms and join our forces.
May your hammer strike true,
King Dralvik II, son and heir of Drolvuk Frozenhelm, sovereign king of the Clan Frostbeard and ruler of Khazâd-gund

Etyangoldi Alliance (message 2 of 3):
On the road
"So be it!", was the reply from Curufinwe, before issuing the command to charge back and attack.
The 20 soldiers that were with the king all attacked in unison, while shouting "For the king!" fanatically. Many elves of Elvea-Falasse perished in the engagement, and so did a few of the guards of Curufinwe.
The fight was fierce and the guards were holding their ground; although outnumbered they were definitely not outmatched nor outskilled. But more and more elves of Elvea-Falasse swarmed in, and all the commotion attracted some of the locals as well, which brought their pitchforks and went into the grinder, trying to help. As that much was the desire from the folk of The Shire to get rid of the Etyangoldi.
After a while longer, and many more deaths, Curufinwe remained with only two of his guards. Around them was a pile of dead bodies, of elf and hobbit and human alike. And after the last of the guards fell, Curufinwe remained lone, fighting with a prowess never seen before in this Age. He, alone, killed at least fifty to a hundred, and, bizarrely, felt more rejuvenated with each life that was taken.
Sensing that it was just a matter of time until the elves and the humans and hobbits of the land would overwhelm, disarm and capture him, he paused the fight and shouted "Enough!" so loudly that all nearby him fell at least 10 paces away and remained paralyzed for a few seconds, and many stumbled down from the pile of dead bodies Curufinwe climbed onto and fought from.
"I can fight you here until the end of ages, but I see that there is no escape for me from your trap. But you shall not capture me, and my soul's not passing through the Grey Havens to meet the Valar, as my soul is bound by magic to remain here.
You may have won this battle, king Cirdan, but you've sealed your fate and you and all of your kin are doomed."
Then king Curufinwe spoke a few words in an old language and the bodies of his bodyguards started to catch fire and burned powerfully so that nothing would remain and then Curufinwe engulfed himself in such a bright fire that a few most close to him got blinded and many others temporarily lost their sight. It was as powerful as the light of a star crashing next to your eyes and afterwards his body perished as if he never was there before. Those that regained their sight could see a dark colored shape in the place his body once stood and they could watch it disperse itself in the sky and fly due east, past the Shire, past Cardolan, past Hollin and into the Misty Mountains.
In the place of fight there remained a pile of dead bodies, of elves, humans and hobbits alike, all from the Elvea-Falasse and from The Shire. There were some charred bodies that were nearby the bodyguard bodies that burned, but most of the dead fell by the blades of Etyangoldi. Other than the horses the Etyangoldi Alliance troops were mounted on, nothing else remained from the Etyangoldi; not the men, not the armor and not the weapons. All was engulfed and eaten by the mystical fire Curufinwe conjured, before his own demise.
And that was the last of King Curufinwe Fallenstar, rightful ruler of Etyangoldi Alliance. As for the shape that stood where his body once stood, things are less certain.
----
Etyangoldi Alliance engaged the Elves of Elvea-Falasse in the trap. Many died.
Sensing imminent capture, king Curufinwe immolated himself and his body burned completely.
In his place a dark shape was present, and it flew towards somewhere into the Misty Mountains.
King Curufinwe Fallenstar is dead but the Etyangoldi Alliance is still present and the faction can still add future replies (or command the armies)

Along the road a solemn memorial was held for all who had fallen. The bodies that remained where buried, and the remaining ashes where gathered and spread in the nearby meadow.
Gwilwilether sent word to Cirdan;
"Dear Cirdan,
Curufinwe and his royal soldiers are dead, Curufinwe cast a spell burning the bodies of him and his men. More are now dead than alive. The remains of all where given a proper burial. Upon his death Curufinwe's fëa, if it was a fëa, dissipated into sorcerous and malicious mist and went of to the Misty Mountains. Twice we gave him opportunity to surrender but he made the first move preventing any surgical cavalry attack. Inform our allies of the news and that battle with Etyangoldi still remains. Who is to take his place, or if any remain in the realm that are upright is yet to be determined.
Gwilwilether."
To Kings Dralvik II and Alexius
Dear Kings of the Dwarves,
A violent battle was given by Curufinwe rather than be sent westwards to Mandos. The majority of those involved died. He killed himself along with his royal men. His spirit being an elf, refused Mando's summon and instead now dwells in the Misty Mountains. To Dralvik regarding your offered reinforcements your offer is kind and appreciated. Arthedain and Elvea Falasse at present are in good standing against Etyangoldi, and I advise for you to defeat in detail either the trolls or the orcs before involving yourselves elsewhere. Your hospitality and brotherliness show towards us is beyond valuable and worth towards us.
Respectfully and Warmly,
Cirdan
To King Minyatur
Dear King Minyatur,
A violent battle was given by Curufinwe rather than be sent westwards to Mandos. The majority of those involved died. He killed himself along with his royal men. His spirit being an elf, refused Mando's summon and instead now dwells in the Misty Mountains. Despite this Etyangoldi still stands as a fighting realm. I still await word from the human king in the lands to our southeast, who's border Etyangoldi's entire army is along whether they wish to join us to expedite the victory. I have a meeting with my men at arms to review maps and troop placements. After this I will depart to you posthaste so we may discuss our next move. The matters of where your forces should entrench and what Elvea Falasse should do remains. Whether it be it be to commit to your defensive line, await for Eytangoldi to move first, attack Hollin in force, or a joint movement of attacking Hollin and defence. I will see your shortly.
Warmly and respectfully,
Cirdan

The Woodland Realm (message 1 of 1):
After much deliberation as to what has to happen from now on with the realm, and how to get back the lost glory of what was the Woodland in the past, King Tulin Ironflow made the decision; the other dwarf kingdoms are no longer to be trusted, as it was because of them the lands of the Woodland Realm have been chipped off. The dwarves were full of envy and anger and resentment over the other factions.
Full of ambition but with limited means (as their army were decimated in the past two engagements), Tulin Ironflow concocted a plan to punish those he considered responsible for his faction's fall; he would send emissaries to the orcs of Gundabad and the Trolls of the Trollshaw, to form an alliance against the dwarves of the Defender's Fjord and of the Clan Frostbeard.
Moreover, the captured elves of Elvea-Falasse are to be executed, as they conspired with the deposed Queen.
An emissary from Clan Frostbeard, that just arrived bearing a message of peace and understandin, was on the verge of being lynched if not for sending back a message; it was that the Clan Frostbeard is now an Enemy of the Woodland Realm.
"You have expanded so much that you even lost the Favors of the Gods while we are down to just a capitol and a few provinces; Until the situation gets mended, you are our enemies."
----
Send an alliance request to the Gundabad Dwellers and to the Trollshaw Realms, with the intention to strike the other dwarf kingdoms and only for that
Send a declaration of war to the Defender's Fjord and to Clan Frostbeard (not attack, just to know that they are now seen as enemies of the Woodland Realm)

Clan Frostbeard (message 3 of 3):
King Dralvik received the message of the Fall of King Curufinwe.
"A strange way to go down, what a coward... but it doesn't surprise me at all": said the king while combing his beard. And procced to write a response while looking at the war table and taking out some pieces.
___________________________________________________________
Dear Cirdan,
I'm glad that Curunfiwe is no more, he choose the cowards way to go... and that action speaks for himself. He was a fallen and lost soul.
I will take into account your advise, wise friend, and i will try to focus on Clan Frostbeard current battles before involving myself and my people in other events. Regarding that I wrote to the liege of Wooden Enclave, in other to honor the oath of the dwarf; I'm sure it will go well and we will finally have peace at the north and honor our fallen kin in Redhorn Gate.
Regarding the King Minyatur, I hope that our friendship grows. I will accept his friendship request of our realm with the Kingdom of Arthedain.
We are still waiting for King Alexius words regarding the East, in orther to know if he can assit my forces in Upper Rhudaur.
I will try to update you on the matter, as soon as i have any news.
Your Friend,
Dralvik
----
Send the above message to King Cirdan of The Kingdom of Elvea-Falasse.
Accept the friendship request of the King Minyatur.
Still waits for a response of King Alexius of Defender's Fjord.

Trollshaw Realm (message 1 of 1):
In the Trollshaw Realm, Torogok the troll had dark days like never before. His conquests, hard earned and hard fought, the human encampments, castles and fortifications of Angmar and now of Upper Rhudaur fell to the sway of the dwarves of the ices of Forochel.
Those dwarves had a taste of the pastures of the south and now they're greedy for more. What was assumed to be a conquest for lost land now turned into a conquest in its right, with the target the trolls. Same trolls that did nothing wrong, 'xcept some human enslavement. But all of those earned it in full, as they had fought against the trolls at some point in the past.
Now Torogok was thinking only on how to punish the dwarves. An alliance with the orcs of Gundabad, once enemies but now allies in need, didn't prove to be as fruitful as believed. Only chance was to call in aid the elves of Etyangoldi. The trolls assisted the elves in their time of need, at Redhorn Gate, so the elves had to pay with the same coin.
A message was sent to the elves, unbeknownst of their own troubles with the elves and humans of the west. The message asks for assistance and support against the dwarves, as the dwarves are knocking on the capitol's door. If the elves accept, they should move their armies to the trolls southern province of Rhudaur, to secure it. And that would require a formal alliance, instead of the friendship they now share.
----
Move all troops to the capitol
Send alliance request to the Etyangoldi Alliance, and ask them to move troops to Rhudaur

Broken Tooth Tribe (message 1 of 1):
Snicklefritz surveyed the scene of the conquered capital with a certain satisfaction. He told his army that he wanted every evidence of the Variag torn down, stone by stone.
“If their hands put it up, ours will rip it back down.”
And everywhere he turned his head, his eye fell upon a scene of pleasure. A maelstrom of activity and noise gripped the region.
Corsair teams were still carting away gold and other treasures back to the coast, while around them groups of orcs swarmed in every direction. Demolition crews were crawling over the human structures which still stood upright, tearing them down with rope and hammer and blasting fire, gleefully ripping away the base stone and wood and metal for re-purpose. Long, slinking trains of wagons stretched off to the nearby quarry and mine, the orcs within pulling raw minerals from the earth with a skill that would stun even a crew of dwarf miners. Full armies had been sent off attacking the surrounding forests with ax and fire, transforming them utterly into timber and charcoal, and leaving behind blasted wastes. Herds of livestock were being rounded up from the surrounding countryside, a portion destined for the butcher knife this very evening, while the rest would accompany the armies’ baggage train to supply future war-making.
Great black industrial furnaces had been constructed outside the captured city, and teams of orcs fed their eternal hunger for fuel. The air was hot and oppressive with the belching flames spitting from their mouths. Sparks and embers swirled overhead, falling from a sky which once had known cleansing rains. The winds themselves now carried smoke and gusts of fire.
The malleable entrails of the earth were being torn from her bowels and molded by orcish hands into novel shape and form, nature herself being conscripted into the furtherance of this war. Black-wrought engines rolled across weary soil, lines of orcs pulling in tandem to deliver yet another machine of carnage to the front. Devilish implements spewed forth from the furnaces in rising mounds with dizzying speed. Devices pregnant with internal flame clacked and rattled and whirred with baffling intent.
A rider arrived with word from the corsairs, and Snicklefritz looked it over. “Ithilien?” he asked the rider.
“It’s true. They captured the Dru capital at Ithilien.”
“Interesting. Formidable. And they eye Coldvar, besides… We’ll see if we can’t direct their ire in more productive directions.”
The orc chieftain wrote back:
//////////////////////////////////////////
////// To the Corsairs of Umbar:
//////////////////////////////////////////
Our people fought well together, you are correct, and I hope they so fight in the near future. And think not of the Dru Folk, they were certainly no friend and most-likely next on the chopping block. As for those men of Coldvar: your hunch was correct, as we have an alliance with them. Fight them if you must, but we would prefer it not. On top of that, rumors abound of a dragon in their employ.
Regarding next moves and attacks: our forces are presently positioned poorly for another battle to be fought in as quick of succession as this. We gather forces, resupply, prepare the next strike. I will reposition our armies north in opposition to the Dru, reinforcing the garrisons at Gorgoroth and Horse Plains, in preparation of future attack and in case of retributive actions from the Dru. Further north, still, lies unclaimed territories which we may share between us.
//////////////////////////////////////////
//////////////////////////////////////////
-----
Send reply to the Corsairs: no attack next turn from the Broken Tooth Tribe, prefer that they not attack Coldvar.
Move the full army in Sutherland to Gorgoroth.
Move the full army in Near Harad as close to Horse Plains as they can reach (which I believe to be only one province, taking them to Khand)

Elvea-Falasse (message 4 of 4):
In South Arthedain
Before the council of Elvea Falasses' men at arms departed to meet with King Minyatur directly Cirdan sighed to himself and thought privately;
"After Nienna has no more sorrow, and after Oromë no longer finds joy in the chase through lands and the loosing of arrow. After the seas of the world grow static and lifeless and after the stars of Varda and Earendil himself grow dim. When the guard of the Door lets down his guard and the world is made anew. Only then will the life of Eä finally know contentment. Until that most distant of time are we destined to fight unending war?"
Cirdan, Gannoriel, Magolhir, Gwilwilether, and all the captains of the Lindon realm went to meet with King Minyatur to state to him their recommended plan of action. They had burned much candlewax studying maps and running calculations. The word of the execution of the elves imprisoned in Mirkwood was upsetting, but Gwilwilether was possessed by a unique hatred. For soldiers she faught alongside regularly to be killed in such a fashion instilled rage that would make balrog flame look dim. Elvea Falasse hoped to reinstall the line of Queen Barazturg, but that was a matter of future consern.
Cirdan dicussed with King Minyatur and asked for his thoughts;
"Elvea-Falasse would like to storm Hollin with all its forces to minimize casualties via overwhelming force. However doing so would leave Arthedain's defence along the frontier vulnerable to a concentrated Etyangoldi attack. If Elvea Falasse is to take Hollin it would be my advise for your to withdrawn all your soldiers to your capital. There we can mount an unassailable defense and prevent Etyangoldi from defeating one of your detachments in detail. Etyangoldi cannot attack North Cardolan this update to sever the link to Hollin and after update 8 we can reorganize our troops for our next move. Also attacking Hollin would give us momentum in campaign and might open up the possibility and establishing an upright sovereign from the kings that once ruled Eregion. What are your thoughts?

Corsairs of Umbar (message 3 of 4):
After receiving the message from the orcs of the Broken Tooth Tribe, the Commander of the Corsairs pondered for a bit. It was their allies and their allies words does weight a bit, but the Corsairs also gave their word to the Coldvar a priori, that it was peace for tribute or war without tribute.
The Corsairs decided that it was only fair to give an ultimatum to the Coldvar Empire. And so, the following was written:
"To the Empire of Coldvar,
Time it is now to turn our attention to your Empire. We have mutual friends in the orcs of Broken Tooth Tribe, but we have also some lack of understanding between ourselves. We have asked you for coin and troops to spare in what was assumed to be a fair trade to keep peace along the shores. You've so far refused our offer, and we must now inform you, with terrible sadness, that we will take the coin and fair manpower from the people of your kingdom.
This emissary here has to reach you and come back to us in good health, with your answer. You still have time to pay, hmm, what was it? 4 coffers of coin and 1000 of your troops, to guarantee peace between you, us, and the orcs. And then we can move together to other, less exotic destinations.
If the emissary here comes without these, then you are informed that you are considered as enemy of the Corsairs of Umbar starting from the moment you read this. Thank you for your time, Emperor.
Hope to see you on the battlefield soon, whichever side you choose to be on! I've heard many a tale of your skills and ability to interact with creatures, and that I want to see."
----
Send the above message to the Empire of Coldvar, asking for 4 coffers of coin and 1000 humans, but if Coldvar haggles then the Corsairs would also accept 3 coffers of coin and 800 humans. If the Empire of Coldvar refuses, then they are declared as enemies to the Corsairs of Umbar (not in war, just declared as enemies).

Kingdom of Arthedain (message 2 of 3):
in South Arthedain
"King Cirdan,
We've also thought much about this. We have to assume that the forces of the Etyangoldi are converging to their capitol, wherever they are on the land. After losing their king, I don't think that they have a central command so soon, so the instinct is to retreat and to regroup.
So if we are to march towards Hollin, are you not fearing that we'll clash with them all? For all their might in battle, I fear that they would best our troops and yours, together. My tacticians did the calculations, and we're losing. If only you and your faction had more favors, maybe we could turn the tide of battle to our side ... but right now, as we stand, if we attack Hollin and they regroup at Hollin, we're stepping into a trap.
Fair elf, do you know more about of the Etyangoldi plans? If you know that they're attacking somewhere else, then we should definitely strike hard at Hollin. But if they come back home, I fear we should do something else. But this makes us wonder something else ... the humans of the South. Do you know anything of them? I also fear that if we claim more of the Etyangoldi provinces, and end up bordering the Humans, they could attack us directly.
Do you have any deals with the humans of the Coldvar? Are they danger? Are they in league with the elves? Fair elf, you may have had more contact to the outside world. We, in Arthedain, just start to taste how it feels to be alive ..."
---
Ask Elvea-Falasse if they know of the Etyangoldi plans. If they move their armies to Hollin then an attack of Hollin would mean defeat.
Ask Elvea-Falasse if they know the intentions of the Empire of Coldvar.

The Empire of Coldvar (message 1 of 2):
The Emperor touches down in the grassy field. He slips down from Aldira's back. And almost immediately a messenger was standing nearby, afraid to approach the dragon.
Emperor Nikolai pats Aldira, and walks toward the messenger. He takes the message, and reads it.
"Boy, get me General Elkins now." The messenger bows and runs away.
What is it Nikolai?
"We are going to war."
The Corsairs?
"Yes. They said they sent a second message to us. What message? I get every message that comes into camp."
A few minutes later General Elkins came running over.
"Yes, Emperor?"
"Rouse the soldiers. We are preparing for war."
"Sir? With the Corsairs?"
"Yes, now you have your orders."
"Yes, sir." General Elkins leaves and starts to gather soldiers. Soon the whole camp was buzzing with activity.
Nikolai, what about the reinforcements in the north? They could be useful.
"They already have a mission."
To the Corsairs:
The Empire has no patients for pirates. You speak of code and honor, but all I see are a bunch of thieves. And you will die just like one.
You have made an enemy of the Empire. I'll see you on the battlefield, as I plunge my blade through your chest.

Kingdom of Arthedain (message 3 of 3):
"The dwarves of Clan Frostbeard signed the friendship proclamation with our faction!" was all the news of today. And it was excellent news.
The world of Middle Earth is now relatively shaped; In the North-West, the tri-party of elf-dwarf-human forces dominate the realm, in the North and North-East we have the dwarf dominions, in the South-East we have the orc expansion, deep in the South there's the realm of the divided Humans, and whatever else that still remains is of little significance; the elves of Etyangoldi, the orcs of Gundabad, the trolls of Trollshaws and the humans of Rohan. They could pose a real problem if the King of Rohan wakes up from his slumber .... but what are the chances of that happening, anyway?
"Any news from the Elvea-Falasse?"
"Not yet."
"The clock is ticking. What worries us the most are the humans of the Empire of Coldvar. We're still unsure if King Cirdan brokered a deal with them or if they invite aggression while we strive to finish the Etyangoldi. Because our best bet is to cut off the supplies of Etyangoldi so that come next update the reinforcements will be cut in half; but if attacking Minhiriath and Enedhwaith means that we're open for an attack by Coldvar then we'd rather concentrate all of our soldiers on Hollin. We'll wait and see, hopefully news from Elvea-Falasse don't fail to arrive in time."
"In the mean time, let us send a personal messenger to the Coldvar Empire; Make the wording as such:
To the Empire of Coldvar,
Greetings from the Humans of Arthedain, from King Minyatur, the rightful heir to the throne of Arthedain! The forces of the North, the elves of Elvea-Falasse, the dwarves of Clan Frostbeard and the humans of Arthedain, all strike in force the provinces of the elves of Etyangoldi Alliance and of the trolls of Trollshaw Realm.
Soon, our two factions are to border one another. I have to ask you, are you a friend or a foe? Do you eye the human kingdom of Arthedain, to unite it with your own? Or do you think we can find peace and understanding among ourselves and direct our attention to the East of the realm?"
King Minyatur felt exhalted. It was for the first time in a long time that the people of the Shire, of Numeriador and of Western and Eastern Arthedain did not complain, rebel or otherwise aim for civil war. Even if the bulk of the army lied on the Southern borders, the populations in the North were relatively calm and content. Certainly this was because of the recent happenings and not of anything else.
These time coincided with the arrival at the court of Arthedain of an old, wrinkled and fair sage. He claims to have lived in isolation for the past hundred years near the harbor of Lond Daer in Enedhwaith, but the troops of the Etyangoldi Alliance had stationed there recently and did much destruction to the realm, and persecution of the local population. A group of elves from Etyangoldi were after the sage, after word escaped mouths that he had the power of vision. The sage asked for safe haven from the Etyangoldi, and King Minyatur offered it.
----
Ask the Elvea-Falasse if the Empire of Coldvar are friends or not, and also ask if they decided what to do; King Minyatur proposes to strike the shore provinces to cut the reinforcements to the capitol, but only if the Empire of Coldvar are not enemies.
Send the above message to the Empire of Coldvar, asking what are their plans and if they are friends or foes
