SHYUBI DASCHIME - The Hall of Internet (HI) has released new regulations on the use of online mobile applications yesterday.
TikTok is one of the applications listed in the new HI's protocols on smartphone application use.
When asked, Rika Sharoris, the Chief Hallgirl of HI answered "There are legitimate concerns on privacy, on data, and on Internet use, but the problem with TikTok is not with China."
When pressed further on the issue, she said "China is doing well on information technology and 5G and its products have become more innovative, we will cooperate with the Chinese government on this issue."
The Hall of Internet said that the new regulations is to take place starting tomorrow.
It can be remembered that TikTok went viral for a day when Feyris girls used it for their "Frog on Head Challenge" on which Feyris girls compete on how many frogs you can put head on your head.
Nonetheless, some anarchist activists are not amused with the Hall of Internet's obscure explanations.
Kanon, an anarchist said "China is a state capitalist and social-imperialist regime and they are using TikTok for espionage and the gathering of data."
When asked, Rika Sharoris answered "China is a socialist Marxist-Leninist country and we are happy to work with Xi Jinping on this issue."
Nonetheless, Feyris girls seem to be unnerved by the ban.
Hana, a 15-year-old Feyris girl when asked for her opinion on the matter said "I really don't care. When they put the "Frog on Head Challenge" I didn't like it because the frogs would croak and jump on my hair and dance challenges on that app looked ugly."
