Bylaws of the GCMTA

BYLAWS

Article I: Membership
Section I: Member nations must be in the region Greater Cyngland.
Section II: Member nations do not have to be WA members.
Section III: In order to become a member, nations must complete Form I-1: Membership, which must be reviewed and accepted by the GCMTA Membership Panel.
Section IV: Puppet states may not join the GCMTA.
Section V: All member nations must sign these bylaws upon joining.
Article II: Trade
Section I: Member nations will not embargo nor impose tariffs on goods from other member nations.
Section II: Member nations may complete Form I-2: Trade Violation if other member nations are not participating in fair trade with said nation.
Section III: Should the GCMTA Trade Panel determine that a nation is not participating in fair trade, then that nation may lose membership, and be embargoed by the GCMTA.
Section IV: Member nations may complete Form I-3: Customs Violation if other member nations are taking advantage of fair trade to smuggle contraband into said nation.
Section V: Should the GCMTA Trade Panel determine that a nation is committing customs violations, then that nation may lose membership, and be embargoed by the GCMTA.
Article III: Military
Section I: Member nations shall not have their military affected in any way by the GCMTA.
Section II: No member nation may invade another member nation.
Section III: Member nations may only invade non-member nations after a vote of the GCMTA Security Panel.
Section IV: Should a member nation be found to be warmongering or otherwise violating the security of the GCMTA, the GCMTA Security Panel may revoke its membership.
Section V: Member nations must provide military support to another nation if invaded.
Article IV: GCMTA Panels
Section I: The GCMTA will have a Security Panel, composed of three permanent members, being the first three members to join the GCMTA, and four temporary members, chosen each month. The SP will decide on military and safety issues.
Section II: The GCMTA will have a Membership Panel, composed of three permanent members, determined by election from the whole GCMTA.
Section III: The GCMTA will have a Trade Panel, composed of three permanent members, determined by election from the whole GCMTA.
Section IV: An opening in a panel may occur should a panel nation have it's membership revoked, step down, or leave the region.
Section V: Should an opening occur, there will be a vote for a replacement nation.
Section VI: A member nation may only serve on one panel at a time.
Amendment I: Inactivity
Section I: Upon being inactive for twenty days, a member nation shall be removed from their panel, and a replacement voted in.
Section II: Upon being inactive for thirty days, or upon the timeout of the nation, the member nation shall be ejected from the GCMTA.
Section III: If a member nation submits a written document detailing why they may be absent for longer than twenty days, their replacement will be only temporary, and they may regain their seat upon their return.
