"Knowledge is the basis of faith. With every question and every answer, your faith will grow ever stronger."
- Fatin Al-Nasser, at a speech in Al-Azhar University

Fatin Al-Nasser Abbasi is the 99th Abbasid Caliph, and is Arabia's symbolic head of state; as well as the highest religious authority among all Sunni Muslims.

Early Life

Fatin was born as Ysmael Abbasi, to Ibrahim Abbasi with his third wife Fatima. Fatin grew up during the Second World War, in which Arabia contributed greatly to the Allied cause. During his childhood, he was an avid reader; and by the time he was a teenager was recognized to be a gifted learner.

He graduated from the Al-Azhar University in Qahira with a degree in Islamic Studies, and became a sufi. Many years later, he would be invited back to the university as the headmaster; and would resign in 1996, when he began to approach the age of 60, which was the maximum age for the university headmaster. He would then continue on as a prominent imam.

Rise in Politics
