CHAMPIONS OF THE LABYRINTH
Who are Champions of the Labyrinth?
Champions of the Labyrinth are members of our great region who have made great accomplishments or shown exemplary character in their career as a member of the region, sufficient to demand their recognition and a reward for their greatness. There are six different Orders of Champions, each recognizing a particular area of accomplishment within the region.
What are the Individual Orders of Champions?
Champions of Zeus have shown impeccable leadership skills as a member of the Labyrinth. Be it in their official authority as a member of our most esteemed Regional Government, or as a common citizen of the Region.
Champions of Athena have taken up the call of duty and shown great bravery and skill in the event of wartime, insurrection, or other regional security breach.
Champions of Hephaestus principally created or had a fundamentally important role in the creation of an institution, event, or other artifact that has greatly benefited the region.
Champions of Hermes have made great accomplishments in interregional diplomacy or in the world of NationStates at large, for the benefits of the Region.
Champions of Apollo have shown great general skill and aptitude in making the Labyrinth a fundamentally more fun, welcoming, and prosperous region in no one particular area, or in one not officially recognized at the time of their award.
Champions of Hades are nations that once showed incredible dedication to our region, and its community, but have since passed onto the underworld.
How do I Become a Champion?
To become a Champion, there are only two requirements: One, you must be an officially registered Citizen of our Region, and two, you must perform acts that qualify you for one of the aforementioned Orders. The title of Champion is awarded periodically at the discretion of the reigning
King Minos. Nations are also free and encouraged to recommend that King Minos make another Nation a Champion for their respective acts.What does being a Champion get me?
The title of Champion is preeminently honorific, and is meant to show that the King and Region at large recognize the great act of the awarded Champion. Most importantly though, it's something to brag about.
