Current Prime Minister

Ovesa's current prime minister is Cornelius Merrick. An ornithologist and wildlife photographer, he first arrived on the islands in 2001. He became a permanent resident in 2005, and won his first election in 2007.

Like many of his Ovesan colleagues, he's a laid back environmentalist who wears hand-woven Hawaiian shirts and vibes with the birds.

He's 64 years old, he wears thick round glasses, and he has white wispy hair; to put it bluntly, he looks like science.
