About Me
I am not comfortable sharing too many details about myself, but the details I am comfortable sharing I will post here.Note: I feel a little more comfortable posting a little more information about myself right now (July 24) than I usually do, however, I may change my mind and remove such information from this dispatch later on.
The best terms to describe my political ideology would probably be utopian leftism or democratic socialism.
I am registered to the US Democratic Party (DNC) and the Maryland Democratic Party (MDDEMS).
However, I also support the following third parties: Socialist Party USA (SPUSA), Green Party US (GPUS), Peace and Freedom Party (PFP), Liberty Union Party (LUP), Socialist Alternative (SAlt), US Pirate Party (USPP), US Transhumanist Party (H+), Working Class Party (WCP), Justice Party USA (JPUSA), Bread and Roses Party (BRPJ).
I hope for third parties to get more influence in U.S. politics, and for more third parties to form (particularly democratic socialist, libertarian socialist, Christian socialist, other religious/spiritual socialist, social democratic, and broadly leftist third parties). Though I hope that they mostly avoid using too much socialist jargon, so as to be more accessible to the people.
I was born Feb 2, 1996.
I am from Maryland, US.
I am fine with any pronouns, however since I was assigned male at birth, I default to he/his/him or they/them/their.
As far as I know, I am biologically, physically, hormonally, and genetically male.
I question my gender. I have always wished I could have been born female, however I have also grown up identifying semi-comfortably as a cis-male (though I didn't always conform to my assigned gender identity perfectly). At times I see myself as a man, at others a woman, at others I feel like something in between or something other all together, and sometimes I don't see myself as having any gender and being confused by the idea of why gender even matters whatsoever. I am rarely upset about my gender presentation though, however I do often try to present in subtle androgynous ways as I feel more comfortable like that, and once in a while (and this is quite rare) I do feel like my body's gender is off when I see it in a mirror and that can cause mild to moderate discomfort. I do not think I qualify as trans, however even if I were trans I do not think I would transition medically, hormonally, or surgically, as I have always been uncomfortable with permanent changes to my body (unless they were reliably and easily reversible) - I do want to say however I have nothing against people who do choose to medically, hormonally, or surgically transition or detransition.
On the allo/asexual spectrum: I definitely lean towards allosexual, however I do not wish to have sexual relationships in real life (even though I find the idea enjoyable). I have difficulty finding the right term for this, the closest I have found is autochorissexual, but this term is also very inaccurate to describe my experience, and I am fine being without a label.
On the hetero/homosexual spectrum: I would label myself as heteroflexible (as a male).
On the allo/aromantic spectrum: I am some kind of grey romantic, as I sometimes feel romantic attraction, and sometimes I feel absolutely no romantic attraction. Regardless, I do not wish to date, have romantic relationships, or to ever get married.
On the hetero/homoromantic spectrum: I would label myself as panromantic.
I am a Progressive Christian with interfaith influences. My parents had an interfaith marriage, my father was Jewish until he converted to Christianity around the time I was eight years old, and my mother is a Non-Denominational Protestant Christian with Baptist influences; in addition I grew up surrounded by a number of religious and non-religious perspectives, including various sects of Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Wiccan, Atheism, etc...
I am officially diagnosed (since I was thirteen years old) with Asperger's Syndrome/High Functioning Autism, ADHD, and GAD (with severe OCD-like symptoms); and I am told by my physician that I also have SAD (both Winter and Summer) though I am not diagnosed with SAD officially. I am the child of deaf adults (both parents).
My disability (mostly regarding my executive dysfunction and my limited ability to cope with daily stressors without having a breakdown) makes it difficult for me to find and retain employment, so I live off of SSDI (drawing on my father's work record).
I do however have some college experience (three years at UMBC and one semester at CSM), though I had to drop out because of the high costs and the high level of stress, I was studying biochemical engineering (though I did take a disproportionate number of classes in archeology, history, politics, and sociology) and I was a TA to introductory biology courses for the pre-med track.
My father died when I was twelve years old.
